Determined: Lumina has a strong mind to complete what she sets out to do. She can't leave a mystery unsolved, and will peruse any information available. If there isn't any, then she'll set out and find what she wants to know.
Rose-tinted glasses: The world is rosy, a thought which blinds Lumina to some of the harsher aspects of life. Having lived through tough financial times as a child, Lumina may refuse to acknowledge when things are rough, and force herself to find the light in any situation, even if it's not a realistic view. She views people in a positive light, even if they aren't the greatest of people, which gives the impression of naivety. It can also annoy those who are suffering as she'll point out the positive aspects when really the individual just needs sympathy.
History Lumina grew up in a loving, albeit poor, household as a child. Her parents separated when she was a young teenager which prompted her to become more independent. She loves her family dearly and returns to visit when she can, but is determined to find her own path.
During mid teenage years, Lumina started out as a simple desk clerk for a research group. She has since moved up the ladder up to becoming a researcher's assistant at a pokemon lab. During a strange mass of eevee sightings, Lumina traveled from Katarina to Motterossa to study the phenomenon. The group she traveled with uncovered a Team Rocket plot to clone eevees, and it was there that Lumina found an escaping Chai. The duo have since grown closely knit and are always seen together.
Having already studied as much as she can from available databases at her research firm, Lumina felt that there was little left to learn where she was currently stationed in the city. As a result, she decided to hunt for grants to work towards studying some theories of her own.
She has always held a fascination for life, and loves watching the interaction and effects of humans, pokemon, and the environment around them. Her favorite childhood lore, the fairy tale existence of a floating cat pokemon, is likeliest to credit for her passion and curiosity. Lumina's studies focus on ancient ruins, working with archaeologists when available and deciphering carvings when she discovers them. In between finding ruins, she continuously makes notes of observations on pokemon behavior and environmental settings.
