From oldest to latestIntro Post You may or may not frequently watch the news, but you happen to notice an interesting news report from the big television screen in the waiting room of the pokemon center. An enthusiastic news reporter appears on screen with an Eevee in her arms. "I can't believe this! There seems to be a whole swarm of the illusive pokemon Eevee around Motterossa! Well, it seems that this will certainly make Motterossa a new hotspot in Zatao although who knows how long these Eevees will stick arou-" The Eevee in the lady's arm managed to wiggle free and the camera followed the Eevee's path to a larger field where even more of the pokemon were seen playing with each other. "A rare event indeed. Scientists have not been able to figure out why there has been such a large Eevee migration but they're here and they seem to have no qualms about staying for now. This is a once-in-a-lifetime event to see, and perhaps catch, one of these Eevee. Your best, and safest, chance of meeting one may be to take one of Katarina's transport services..." You zone out after a while but the Eevee swarm has definitely caught your interest. Perhaps you are a trainer who wants a new addition to your team or maybe you are a researcher who wants to study this odd event. Perhaps you are just an adventurer who wants to see something interesting. For whatever purpose, you find yourself planning a trip to Motterossa Katarina You are getting ready for your trip to Motterossa. Perhaps you need to stock up on your food supplies or perhaps you are still waiting to rent your pokemon!
There is a slight drizzle outside and you do not want to risk getting stranded in the middle of the wilderness during a possible rainstorm, so you are stuck in Katarina for now to wait the rain out. Thankfully, there is still plenty to do in the bustling city, even in the rain. The town is, after all, the most populous and developed area in Zatao.
Notes About the Pokemon Express The Express is run by a man named Bill, your typically jolly and kind rancher. His ranch is on the outskirts of Katarina and he often brags about how it is known as the biggest pokemon ranch in all of Zatao.
He will not let trainers renting his pokemon leave until the rain has stopped, but he is fine with letting trainers take a test run with their pokemon around the ranch as long as they promise to head back to shelter immediately if the rain gets heavier - the Ponyta do not appreciate the rain. He also insists that those renting a pokemon should get to know their group companions because it is a requirement that the pokemon travel in packs - safety in numbers.
Notes about Katarina Katarina boasts several features, including a gym and several street stalls lining the roads of the city. Some of these stalls may be closed due to the rain but some persistent sellers may still be around. The gym is also closed for the day.
You may make up some minor places in Katarina. You want a bakery? Sure go write in a random bakery wherever! You can make up places, as long as it's minor. Minor as in small stores/pokemarts, small farms, inns, statues, houses, etc. Nothing big like a giant department store or a big apartment complex (although there ARE already giant apartment complexes in the inner parts of zatao and you can always make up an apartment)
Heading out! The rain clouds have cleared away and the sun is once again shining down on Katarina. The road may be a little muddy, but definitely traversable. It's time to head out! @Groupless people:You get ready to head off with your pokemon. Perhaps you take this time to sneak into a group with a friend or perhaps you use it to get a head start and scout ahead. @Express people:You gather with your group and slowly start down the road. Out in front is the Red group, followed closely by the Violet group. The green group is the last to leave. Bunkering down The hoothoot are hooting and the moon is out. The rental pokemon refuse to travel any further since they have been taught never to walk too far at night. There's no other choice but to bunker down. Your groups will need to set up camp. Find firewood, clear an area for sleeping, cook food, etc. How you delegate the responsibilities is completely up to the group. Groupless trainers may travel a bit further if they wish, but what's the point? It's much better and safer to bunker down with the rest of the trainers. Swarm1 It wasnt long after the group had bunkered down for the night. People were probably hanging out and talking, perhaps even trying to get an early nights' rest from a weary, deary day of traveling in the rain. The same could probably be said for the pokemon still out of their pokeballs as well.
Unfortunately, this peace and quiet, like always...well, it was never ment to last.
Along the border of the trainers' campsite, the sounds of what could be a pokemon catfight erupt from a nearby oak tree. There's another pokemon voice mixed in but it's difficult to make out. It looked like it could continue for a while when all of a sudden, a wild Meowth is pretty much thrown out of the lower branches of the large tree; the creature seemed to hang in the air for a moment before crashing into some food bags laying nearby.
Pulling itself out of the tangle of straps and scraps, it shook out delicate-looking white/pink fur before turning its rage towards any trainers that approach.
This kitty is not happy and it is clearly ready to take it's anger out on whatever crosses it's path!
 NOTE: The following Meowths are colored by Neko_no_Yami, if you win one, please PM her cert info and 4k <3 Duelist of Pokemon Not long after the first Meowth succumb to human capture, the catfight in the nearby oak was still going on. From the looks of things, another pokemon had sought shelter from the rain in the home of a few Meowths...
And as one could hear, they were not at all happy about their unwelcome guest.
This didnt give one time to think though. Yet another cat pokemon was thrown out of the tree and sent tumbling into some bushes; however, the bright white/silver flash of an Iron Tail attack was seen among the branches before disappearing in an eyeblink.
Whatever was in there was putting up a good fight, the Meowth in the bushes looked fairly banged up. Not to mention it looked like it had been knocked senseless.

(Colored by Neko_no_Yami, send 4k and certing info to her if you win) Duelist of Pokemon Two cat pokemon down, how many more left?
The fight in the branches of the tree had been reduced from sounds of spitting and yowls to hisses and threatening growls. Below this, if one listened closely, they could hear the paniced whimpers and tiny sobs of whatever the Meowth were trying to drive out of their home. They sounded ready for a full, final assault when...
A sudden, blinding flash lit up the tree and a violent explosion rang out; a powerful bolt of lightning, seemingly from out of nowhere, raced from the heavens and lit up the tree of a blaze of raging flames.
One set of the angry sounds turned to panic and a feline-like shape could be seen admist the flames, racing away to get to safety.
 (Colored by Neko_no_Yami, send 4k and certing info to her if you win) SOMEONE! SOMONE HALP! STOPDROPROLL! CALL 911! ANYTHING! The flames raged onwards, not at all hindered by the damp wood caused by the rain earlier on. That freak lightning strike had done it's job a bit too well. The flames swelled with a roar as a wave of heat washed over the group of trainers gathered at the campsight.
This was not good! Not good at all!
That had to be put out ASAP!
The risks are high, but a possible forest fire? Not to mention there could be more pokemon trapped in that tree?
.........Whatever happened to a quiet dinner time before hitting the sack?
Huh? WHY!? crying Duelist of Pokemon The fire finally died down after what seems like an eternity. Smoking limbs reached towards the starry sky as the remains of leaves and branches smouldered amid the charcoal around the base of the tree roots.
Thankfully, it didnt look like any pokemon were in the limbs in the oak during the blaze, so-
Huh?
A thick rustling from the bushes nearby sounded and they parted as a soot-covered Meowth stumbled into the open, sounding like it was coughing up a lung. It looked extremely dazed and confused from the events that has just occured and fairly weakened in it's state of minor shock.
But what happened to that pokemon that the Meowth picked a fight with? Surely it wasnt....
 (Colored by Neko_no_Yami, send 4k and certing info to her if you win) Duelist of Pokemon After the last Meowth disappeared into the safari ball, the sounds of something crumbling catches the attention of the people gathered.
Underneath a thick layer of charcoal near the base of the tree, the pokemon that had went into the Meowth den was climbing free and attempting to shake off the dust clinging to it's fur at the same time.
"Raichu....Rai..."
After a bit of struggling (one could see the pokemon favoring it's back leg a great deal), it managed to pull itself free before slumping to the ground to rest.
A wild Raichu! How rare indeed! Yet, it's coat colorings could not be seen under the layer of black dust and dirt choking it's fur. And, despite it being hurt, one could see it had been the source of the freak lightning strike from early.
With that much power at a paniced state, who knew what it would do when a human suddenly approached?!
 Pogeys ChuChu, who was curled up with Luna, suddenly awoke at the vague smell of a familiar presence. "Rai?" "Rai! Raichu!" The electric mouse pokemon poked her trainer in the stomach in an attempt to wake her up. Getting no response, ChuChu went onto lightly slapping the trainer's cheeks with her tail. Still no response. Well. There was only one alternative left... "Raaaaaaaaaaaaaaaiiiiiiiiiiiii-" "'m awake 'm awake dun shock me ChuChu!" Luna cried out, jumping onto her feet and sending ChuChu tumbling off her stomach. ChuChu quickly stood up again and tugged Luna's sock towards the direction of the mysterious raichu. "Hey...isn't that..." "STOP EVERYONE!!""This pokemon isn't wild!" Pogeys "No, it's owned by a friend of mine who was headed out to Motterossa a day ago...Her name is Abiba. I wonder why Jen isn't with her..." Duelist of Pokemon And you call yourselves trainers! D< Shame on you! One after another, pokeball after pokebal sailed through the air from the hands of uncaring trainers and wacked the poor Raichu.
After a few moments, the little pokemon dug its way back out of the pile of pokemon containers, stared at the crowd with bright green eyes and...
Cried?
Yes. Big tears started flowing down the little pokemons' face, leaving behind clean streaks in her dirty fur as she sat in the middle of the rubble around her as she cried her unhappiness and stress to the gathered group.
Some of you may find this little pokemon very familiar...If you look past the muck and grime. ninja Pogeys Luna crouched down and patted the yellow mouse pokemon. "Abiba, what's wrong? Where's Jen?" NOTE TO EVERYONE: Abiba is a raichu, owned by Duel's trainer character Jen who went off to Motterossa a day ago. Yes this is part of the metaplot |D Duelist of Pokemon Stunned out of her tears as she was suddenly the center of attention, Abiba blinked at the gathered trainers and pokemon before tears crept out of the corner of her eyes again. With a sniffle, she buried her face in Miriam's shirt as sobs came forth again.
Whatever had happened had shocked and scared the normally carefree Raichu to her core. And this was worrisome.
Blinking past the flowing tears, Abiba stared at the familiar face of Luna and choked a bit on her words. "Rai...Raichu...Rai..." Duelist of Pokemon Stunned out of her tears as she was suddenly the center of attention, Abiba blinked at the gathered trainers and pokemon before tears crept out of the corner of her eyes again. Blinking past the flowing tears, Abiba stared at the familiar face of Luna and choked a bit on her words. "Rai...Raichu...Rai..." Pogeys "Could the healers here please treat Abiba?" Luna asked, giving the Raichu another pat. ChuChu's ears drooped, seeing her fellow species so traumatized. --- (So metaplot is basically over, settle down for the night...you can try to coax hints from Abiba if you wish xD)

Morning! It's only around 6 AM but the sun is already shining brightly. For all those trainers without tents, waking up before receiving a nasty sun tan would be advised. You can't quite leave the camp site yet. There's items to be packed and pokemon to wake up. If you're feeling particularly mischievious, perhaps you can prank your other travel companions. With civilization days away, they'll never be able to notice the marker drawings on their face without a hand mirror or someone laughing in their face! Something's up! As you are packing up your stuff, you notice that some of your belongings are missing! And where was that piece of bacon you just cooked?! Search around the campsite, the culprit must be somewhere! Hint: You notice that there seems to be a copious amount of feathers littering the floor of the camping site. There couldn't have possibly been that many bird transport pokemon, could there? Duelist of Pokemon Sao Kasai They didn't find anything on the ground. Pen returned to around the campfire and sighed. That was her favorite brush... She looked up.
@ Bluedemonwolf Now done working, Stitch bounded back over to the human who had offered him food. He posed in his best begging pose. "noon!" SWARM There they are! In the treetops! A swarm of swablu! "Bluu bluu? Bluu!" SPLAT..........Ew...... That's what you get for looking up. POKEBALL GO!!Note: These pokemon are colored by Raieth, please send certing info and a trade of 4k to her if you win SWARM Just as one swablu is captured, another pops up from the trees and lets out a curious "bluu?" On the branch this one was perching was a pile of fabrics and bags, shiny objects and others stuffs. Looks like this one was more interested in the trainers' belongings than food. Its way up in the tree though....Not sure if everything is there either.... POKEBALL GO!!Note: These pokemon are colored by Raieth, please send certing info and a trade of 4k to her if you win SWARM The group then notices a third swablu, perched over some food and eating voraciously. Oddly, swablu are native to Motterossa which are commonly known to be quite abundant in fruits and seeds. Perhaps this swablu pack was unfortunate enough to be chased away from their normal foraging grounds? POKEBALL GO!!Note: These pokemon are colored by Raieth, please send certing info and a trade of 4k to her if you win Duelist of Pokemon SWARM The last swablu, a rare yellow shiny variation, is seen flying overhead. It lands ontop of a tree and looks among the trainer with sad eyes as if warning about the future. Swablu are known to be a sign of future happiness, but this Swablu doesn't seem to believe in its own legend. POKEBALL GO!!Note: These pokemon are colored by Raieth, please send certing info and a trade of 4k to her if you win Off we go! After the swarm is over with and everything is packed, the group resumes its journey to Motterossa. There's plenty of sunlight left and plenty of miles to trek so...onward! Whazzat? o3o?
As the group moves onward, they come across a small grassy area cupped by some thick underbrush. It was fairly unimportant, had it not been for the thing that suddenly appeared from the depths of the bushes.
"Vvvrrrr....Eee!"
A small ball of fur went tumbling into view as it wrestled playfully with a small branch it had pulled free. It paused though and, although laying on it's back, stared at the group of trainers with a great deal of curiousity. One of it's ears flopped against the ground while the other stuck up in the air. The staring contest continued as such for a few moments before the Eevee jumped to its feet.
"Eee! Vree ee!"
"Smiling", the little pokemon crouched down and wagged its tail playfully before suddenly dashing off towards the bushes again.
CATCH IT! Pokebal- Aw frig. Dangit! It got away!
Even if some of the more focused people were to jump off their mounts and get on their hands 'n knees to look, the eevee somehow vanished into thin air.
Either that or its a really fast runner.
Either way, this is a good sign. The group is getting closer to town!Uh oh...Deja vu? Something was happening...
Some of the more sensitive pokemon were starting to get nervous as they continued down the road towards the town. Abiba, having climbed on to join Lumina on her pokemon mount, was shaking slightly as she eyed their surroundings, ears twitching nervously. Some of the mounts were even starting to fight the ones riding them, trying to stop or go in another direction altogether.
Not to mention....Its awfully quiet too. Only the sounds of people talking and the sounds of pokemon from the groupo could be heard.
Its almost as if a-
A thunderous explosion suddenly rang out from the clifftops above, a thick stream of black smoke racing towards the skies. That was weir-
Huh?
Some rock chips had fallen on your head. Wait... Rock chips? Oh...sh-
A thunderous rumble came forth, steadly growing louder and louder as the mountainside gave way under the mysterious explosion. The pokemon needed not urging to move. They were out of the way in a second, reguardless of how their human companions were holding on for the ride.
~~~
After the dust settled, the group found themselves blocked off by the large wall of mud and rock. An option would be to go over the mountains to the town, but that would take too long.
The only option would be to clear this wall... Gawd, here's to hoping they have a laundremat in the town. Not to mention a few spare bathrooms.
(The rockslide will be automaticly cleared on page 95! Get to work, peoples!) Duelist of Pokemon Continue? Or Save and Quit? After much abuse via pokemon, the rocks and mud gave way to reveal a clear path onwards.
A few yards beyond the rocky way is a small clearing with a freshwater creek flowing from a natural spring. A few scattered trees offer shade while some wild berry bushes attempt life in the mountains. Despite being smaller than those found in the forest, they are just as edible. There's even a few sparse patches of grass growing from the rocks as well.
Normally this would be a good pit stop but the sun was starting to set over the horizen. As most people know, traveling by night was a hazard. This would be a good spot to settle down for the night and rest. The town wasnt that far off though; perhaps, rising from bed early enough, they could get there after daybreak.
Pogeys There are sounds of a struggle in the distance up in the mountains. There is a roar and the loud sound of something hard crashing on the rocks. However, it is getting dark and most trainers are tired from the recent rock slide. Finding a way up the mountain quickly would also be hard. Perhaps a group of a few people could go to investigate? (First 5-10 people to quote this may go, I'll set up a separate thread for it)
Pogeys "We found a man up in the mountains...he's pretty beat up. And then...well. To sum it up, some people attacked and he got dropped from 8 feet in the air onto a tauros's back and quite possibly injured his arm." Luna summed up, frowning as she looked at the man's condition. The temporary notebook splint on his arm was still attached through the flight and she hoped that his arm didn't take an more damage. (He's currently tied to a lugia with a rope atm xD )) x_Nata_x @ Black Pideot, Rhiannon Chandra, Das Tor
"Looks good," Liam replied, watching them first clean, then wrap the wound, satisfied with how clean a job they had done. His arm, too, looked better once splinted with a real splint, and Liam stood from his crouched position to unravel some cloth medical bandages, lifting the man's head to set up a sling, for when he awoke. Right now, with his legs elevated, the circulation was better in his upper body anyway, and he nodded, glancing at the others.
"Looks like that's about all we can do... if you'd like, we can take turns watching him through the night, just in case, but I don't think it's necessary. He seems pretty stable. Nice job." And some other trainers made a stretcher
Morning! It is, once again, another day! The sun is shining brightly in the sky and today looks like the perfect day for travel - the group will probably make it to Motterossa in no time! But first, there's breakfast to be made, supplies to be packed, etc. for everyone to busy themselves with before the group will begin to move again.
Duelist of Pokemon Rhiannon Chandra ((@ People I'm with XD))Rhia smiled. The day was bright, there were no missing items or strange explosions... this was going to shape up to be a nice day. Wait, where was a piece of wood? Why did she think that?! Now it was jinxed!
"Ugh, please let nothing go wrong," she muttered, bowing her head briefly. It was hot out. For the second time that trip, she pulled her hair back into a ponytail to keep it away from her skin and out of her face. It was going to get hot, fast. Hopefully Motterossa wasn't so far off that they'd have to suffer in the heat for too long. Sweat would just be another problem to add to the list of things coating her. She'd seen worse days... but those had been with Parker as the only witness to her state of uncivilized appearance. He was practically family, it didn't count.
"What are we going to do about the unconscious guy?" She asked, opening the floor to those riding with her as she looked back to make sure he was staying on the stretcher for the trip. "Someone wants him, but he needs medical attention. Does anyone even know where the hospital is in Motterossa?" Perhaps you had seen your friend Lumina space out all of a sudden during yesterdays travels? Or you has heard them say something about it?
As you travel alongst the road to the town with the others, time suddenly seemingly stops all around you as the world grows hazed and fogged. A pokemon attack? Someone playing a prank?! Or-
Thats when the presense of something...something strong grabs your attention. Infront of you and your mount is a shapeless being of shadows; the only light comes from a greenish glow in the center of the mass, one that throbs in time with your own heartbeat.
An enemy...? No...This is something else... It certainly wasnt evil though.
Tread cautiously, young one.... A voice, neither male nor female enters your thoughts. Darkness taints this land. Stay close to those whom have earned your trust...
Suddenly, everything snapped back to normal. That feeling of eternal time had vanished in an instant. The suddenly sensation of being seperated from something has left you slightly faint and disoriented.
Again, no one else has seen or "heard" what you just did. The mount behind you might be slightly miffed that you suddenly stopped but, beyond seeing you stare off into space, no one really seems to know what you're talking about..
Except...for maybe one person? Maybe you should keep this to yourself for the time being. FireFoxNinetails Crimson Jazz @Anyone and Everyone, quote to respond. <3
Math was in a tizzy after being left by not only his brother, but also his sister! Jaxith had been keeping him company, but for the most part he had been hanging behind and moping. It seemed that his siblings would probably be in Motterosa by now, probably even rounding up a few Eevees! He had to find someone that would be willing to help him show them up. He might be the youngest... and the smallest... and the meekest... but he would prove himself! Head held high, Math marched to the front of the pack... then realized he didn't know anybody... It seems that if you don't get out of the way, you won't have a body to meet anyone with! A jolt of electricity pierces through the group and crawls its way towards Math. The electricity can be traced to a single electrike who has bravely stepped onto the road, blocking the trainer from Motterossa which could be seen from the distance, just a few yards away.  POKEBALL GO!!FireFoxNinetails Ruhane Chiisai My eyes darted to the electric beast, one I'd been hoping to find at some point in my travels, but by no means had I expected to find one on this trip. I fumbled in my jacket for a moment before ripping out one of the green balls and throwing it at the dog, including a few berries in the process, but figuring they couldn't hurt. The electrike weren't quite finished with the group yet! As the first electrike was sucked into a pokeball, another one appeared, headbutting an unfortunate trainer (Ruhane) on the side. These Electrike, native to the area, seem particularly aggressive!  POKEBALL GO!FireFoxNinetails The next electrike seemed slightly calmer as it appeared infront of the group. However, this image didn't last as grey skies suddenly clouded above the group and a clash of thunder struck down. The electrike bared its teeth and growled at the group. "Ele, elec TRIKE!" What could it be so angry about?  POKEBALL GO!Winner should send 4k and cert info to Neko_no_Yami FireFoxNinetails A final blue blur dashed through the group. Determination shined in the electrike's eyes as it narrowed them in concentration. "Trike!" It cried out, finally stopping infront of Tabitha (Shikamaru Silyvant) and biting her leg.  POKEBALL GO!Motterossa...finally! The group finally reaches Motterossa, a very quaint and highly rural town. There are only a few facilities - a pokemon center, a pokemart, and an inn called the Trotting Turtwig. Thankfully the inn DOES have running water and up to date facilities. There are also several cottages sprinkled about the town. Some villagers are seen, out and about working on their daily activities. The Eevees, however, do not seem to be within sight. Perhaps the electrike have scared them away? They are probably not too far though, perhaps in the forest. The villagers all reply (when asked) that the Eevee are still around so there's no worry. They may just be shy. You can't expect finding such an illusive pokemon like Eevee to be so easy! But perhaps you'd like to go reserve a room at the inn before anyone else, reservations will probably be tight later on when more and more people arrive. Or perhaps you'd like to stock up on supplies in the pokemart or get your pokemon rested up in the center. There's plenty to do besides searching for those Eevee.
GwynnieKittenLover I may have gone overboard, but I put what I thought was important: Quote: FireFoxNinetails "Everyone, please gather around the woods, I have an announcement to make!" Luna shouted, cranking her megaphone to the max volume while she clung to her pidgeot's leg with her free hand. "I repeat, please meet me around the woods, I have an important announcement to make!" FireFoxNinetails "SO," Luna cleared her throat, staring down the medium-sized crowd, "my piece-of-crap poketech finally decided to work today and I received this message that was forwarded from the zatao police. 'S.O.S.
Several passing trainers kidnapped at Motterossa by Rocket Team. Need HELP. Imprison in makeshift underground base. (Under the Trotting Turtwig Inn???) Mysterious Eevees appearance link to this base, unlawful cloning. Please HELP.' As gymleader of Katarina and one of the closest contacts they have around Motterossa, I was put in charge of investigating. I am wondering if any of you wish to help since I'm sure there's probably more than one Rocket and I can't possibly take them all on." FireFoxNinetails Mythee-dono  The news was unexpectedly... informed. So, they already had a target. Lamen called to Luna, and lifted her arm. "How many Grunts can there be in a small inn? Maybe it's best left to the police force- but if extra help is needed, I have confidence in my skills and would be more than glad to help." "Well, there's no police force in Motterossa and it'll take 2 days for any help to arrive from Katarina. Besides, the police force is very occupied there as well." Luna turned to the crowd and smiled at all the agreements to follow. She threw two pokeballs in the air, letting out her reliable duo of ChuChu the raichu and Nine the Ninetales. "All right guys, to the inn!" ((Meanwhile at the rocket HQ, because I just realized I can't send guild announcements more than once a day (YAY STUPIDITY) A loudspeaker clicks on and sends a loud message throughout the underground headquarters. "It seems like the trainers are on a charge to invade the inn. All personnel should report to the front of the inn to ward them off while the scientists finish transporting the experimental pokemon to a more secure location." )) FireFoxNinetails Luna made her way to the Trotting Turtwig inn with a chain of trainers following her. She cautiously opened the door and peered in. "This is the Katarina gym leader, this building is now being under investigation for harboring members of Team Rocket!" She declared to whoever was inside. Sadly, the building was empty. "Huh..." ((Captured trainers may now post)) Duelist of Pokemon "LUNA!"
A familiar voice rangout amongest the trainers and villagers coming out of the inn. It should, considering this person left a voice mail on her phone days earlier.
"LUNA!" FireFoxNinetails Okay guys. So there were rockets among the group capturing trainers the third day and onward. The trainers, stuck in a jail under motterossa...well... *filches Lady Mist's summery* Lady Mist ((For those who missed pieces)) We awoke already in the jails with handcuffs on, guarded by two men. We are separated by our group colors. The black group were able to knock out a guard when the second guard had left, however he did not have the keys. When the second guard returns, he panics and is also captured, whereupon the black group frees everyone else. The guards are now put into a cage and we regain our pokemon/bags/etc. If new prisoners are brought in, the guards have agreed to cooperate in accepting the new prisoners without giving away that we're free. To gather intel on our situation, we begin a set of missions. Mission 1: Check out the lab across the hall. We learn via scientists talking that the eevee didn't migrate here, but were born here. They are all clones who are then evolved with rare colors and markings for the market. A flash drive is also obtained containing a map and statement of the cloning. Mission 2: Find the guard's missing paper containing the codes to locked doors. We find it and gain access to the next floor. Mission 3: Explore the executive's office. Not much can be heard, but it is implied that our pokemon were going to be sent off for further experimentation. We also learn that in addition to guards, there may be pokemon acting as guards as well. Mission 4: Learn where we are. We find kegs that read "T.T. ale" and deduce that we are under the Trotting Turtwig inn. Mission 5: Explore the storages. We obtain some unused rocket uniforms. Mission 6: With the rocket uniforms on, infiltrate the communications room to send out a message. An SOS message was sent to the Katarina police department. Mission 8: Explore the trap door that was just dicovered in the jail room. Inside we discover 20~30 of the original townsmen, farmers and the like who did not bow to Team Rocket's takeover. Anyways, for now, please everyone go around to the outside of the inn. FireFoxNinetails In the middle of all the chaos, an Eevee had managed to break free of the lab transport and popped into the crowd with an excited "Vee! Eevee!" It raced through several legs and finally settled infront of the trainers. "Vee?"  (Colored by Neko_no_Yami, send 4k and certing info to her if you win) Sao Kasai Penelope ran down the hall of the base, a few other rockets following close behind. The elite ducked into a room where a big shiny button was. She pressed it and an electromagnetic shield activated. "Cover's blown!" She grimaced, but grinned as she heard the engines start and the shield encompass the whole inn. Duelist of Pokemon @ Rian-Chan:
Smiling at her friend, Jen returned the hug and stepped away when Raina did as Abiba waved back at Amaryllis. "I dunno....All I know is they jumped me after Luna asked me to check out the place. She hadnt heard from the Gym Leader in a while and was worried about it."
Shaking her head, Jen glanced over at the inn where the Rockets were hold up. "When I came here...It seemed like...felt like everyone was watching every move I made...then when I went to have lunch at the cafe, they jumped me using the excuse that Dem here..." She motioned to the Vaporeon sitting at her side. "had made a mess somewhere. I woke up in the cells after Aura and I managed to knock a few out." FireFoxNinetails HI GUYS, TO RECAP THE PLOT ONCE AGAIN *The rockets are hiding in the inn, an electromagnetic shield is covering the inn to keep the trainers out *The trainers are around the inn. The rockets managed to slip in and put the shield up while the trainers were being distracted. The shield is unbreakable. For now. BlackPidgeot Nikki smirked as she watched the shield come up, protecting them from the trainers.
However, they could do more than just sit there! Pulling out a canister, she pulled the pin with her teeth and tossed it out into the mob of trainers.
"Ha! Take that!" She shouted, tear gas immediately erupting from the can and flooding the general area in which it landed. Mythee-dono The urgency of the situation meant slacking off was unacceptable. People could really get hurt! Lamen grabbed the speakerphone from Luna. "Don't mind if I do," she said, then shouted at everyone:
"EVACUATE THE CIVILIANS, FIRST! RETREAT AND REGROUP!"
"Thanks," she added, handing back the speakerphone. Whether Luna took it or not, Lamen dashed off to grab the granny from before, who was sitting too close to the inn. "Potatobi, Donut- do the same." She ordered. Renekai Zinnia looked around the inn desperately. The Rockets were fighting back, so how could she help? And then she spotted a corpse. It was a dead grumpig... How the heck did that get there? In any case, it deserved a proper burial.
Zinnia managed to toss the dead pokemon out into the crowd of people, hopefully squishing one or two of them allowing it to be laid to rest.Duelist of Pokemon x_Nata_x The healer almost thought the girl was going to hug him. Then again, maybe he had been watching too many chick flicks. He would never admit to anyone, but on the inside, Liam was quite the sap for things like that, despite the front he tried to keep up. This time, however, Lumina's excitement was contagious, and he felt that threatening bubbling feeling in his chest, as if he was about to grin and/or fluff her hair or something equally as 'un-manly.' Shoving his hands hard into his pockets, he laughed along with the other girl, watching her clutch the pokeball and grinning broadly.
"That, my dear, is completely up to you," he replied, amused.
Unfortunately, as situations often were, reality caught up fairly quickly. Tilting his head, he listened to the talk about the barrier, his frown returning. Mentally, he wondered if Ridley was inside, and his expression darkened considerably, his thumbs hooking tightly in his beltloops.
EDIT
At the cry of tear gas, Liam grabbed the collar of his shirt, pulling it up over his nose and mouth and squinting his eyes, and he tore off his vest, shoving it at Lumina, already sprinting out of the way.
"Cover your face!" It happened a third time. Time seemed to freeze for a few precious seconds as various images flash across your mind.
A missle flying through the air... Fire... Screaming... A sense of fear...of warning...
What could...how? Where-
That's when another image enters your mind, this one of piece and warmth. Of protection.
It was the woods...that much was clear. A clearing somewhere in the forest. Whoever, whatever was sending you these was also telling you how to get there.
In the center of the clearing, by a small creek of fresh water, was a simple shrine of stone with a small flame flickering like a beacon of hope.
Then, the image cuts off.
Quickly young one! An echoing voice cuts through the fog. The Shrine Clearing! Take your friends and allies there!
Then, like being shoved from behind, you are forced back into reality. Only this time, there was a sense of calm coming from a single, echoing word in the back of your mind.
Quickly! Leader-Sama-07 Flint made it to the woods, with the grumpig in tow, he just hadn't been able to leave it. he couldn't bear it. Shikamaru Silyvant "Missile strike in bound!" She called in warning to her fellow rockets before she turned back to the controls. Tilting the control stick in the general direction of the group of trainers, Diana barely contained a cackle. Flipping a panel open, she slammed down on the shiny red button. A satisfying whistle shrieked through the air as the missiles streaked out of the inn's roof and toward the trainers that were fleeing for their lives. x_Nata_x Duelist of Pokemon It happened a third time. Quickly! "... oh god."
He hadn't realized he'd said it. Not out loud, anyway. The vision had come quickly, shutting off the rest of his senses so he couldn't hear anything, not even his own voice. Liam's eyes had glazed over, the pale blue losing it's glimmer of recognition as he was pulled into the image of smoke, of fire and missiles and screams of terror. His eyes grew wider without realizing it, breath caught in his throat, and he stood shock-still, unable to move, in reality or otherwise.
And then... there was a voice... and the feeling of peace.
"A clearing..."
Again, he had said it out loud, without really meaning to. This time however he realized it, because it was then that the dream-like state had faded, and he was back to reality, the sounds of people fleeing filling his senses. His legs started moving without his braining needing to tell them to, hands grabbing for anyone he could reach, starting to shove them into action.
"GET TO THE CLEARING!" Liam practically screamed, already hearing the missile being launched, "GET TO THE SHRINE! NOW!!!" FireFoxNinetails Everyone crowds around a clearing and, at the center of the clearing, is a simple shrine with no inscribing.  There is a small lake to the west of the clearing and it seems to be at a far enough distance from the inn where the tear gas and the missiles cannot reach. The trainers can take a breather, rest, regroup, catch up on each other's stories, and plan for the next day. Fate of the Grumpig Bluedemonwolf Leader-Sama-07 @ blueFlint nods and watches vincent dig for a moment before kneeling beside the grumpig " its really a terrible thing they did... i just wish there was something i could have done for it, to stop this from happening..." Finally Alexa got Vincent to back away from the hole. "Yeah.... I just hope that they didn't kill it. That it died of natural causes." She said helping Flint bury it. She didn't really believe that it died of natural causes but it didn't stop her from hoping. Once the pig was in the hole she'd get Vincent to put the dirt back. "I need another shower again."Leader-Sama-07 @ blue Flint looks around for a nice rock and after a moment or two of looking find a decent sized smooth stone, he picks it up and takes it back to the grumpigs makeshift grave and sets it at the top of the grave " its not the greatest but it will have to do" he says referring to the stone he smiles at the flowers " those are pretty" he says(night chocobo~) FireFoxNinetails One of the villagers, after resting, was alert enough to notice the conversation. "Well, that shrine has been here for ages. There's a legend to it too, if you would like to hear." FireFoxNinetails ((Yaaaay story time rofl )) "It's a popular tale in Motterossa. Once upon a time," the villager started, taking a seat in the grass, "there was once a trainer that settled in Motterossa a while before even Katarina was founded. He had with him several strong pokemon - he did fight his way through the wilderness of Zatao afterall. "He stayed in his village, and eventually died, but one of his pokemon did stay in the region. This shrine was built on the grave of that trainer and it was also built to honor his pokemon that had helped...protect the village...after first few months of...starting t' town..." Apparently, the jail had been too much of an adventure and the villager started to doze off. Well, so much for story time.
