(( This is for senshi, sprites, and civvies to join up in! No acolytes unless you PM me first or quote me in the thread. This might move quickly and won't have a posting order. I will be moving the youma whenever I feel that they should be moved. Only jump in if you feel you will be able to keep up! Thank you! <3 ))

Sitting atop a clock tower Spinel found himself looking over a rather nice looking area of the city, one that was comfortably set away from his home and his restaurant, and full of people that were enjoying a nice evening stroll now that the weather had cooled down a bit. It was a nice, calm, beautiful evening, the sort that one liked to spend with lovers... or so he'd heard, such peaceful and quiet times rather made the masked acolyte want to gag. Still, this would be good for him, as well as good for his on going studies of the senshi that had been awoken to this point. He wanted to get a good feeling for them, what their powers were like, how many of them there were, and what ones he might possibly be able to corrupt and turn against their worthless leader.

Today would be a good day to bait some of them out of hiding and get them to fight for his enjoyment, not that they would be aware of such a thing. Not as though he meant to wave around pom-poms while yelling 'here I am'. No, his plan was far better then that, he'd be unleashing some youma on the citizens below, allowing them to attack, to draw out the senshi, to fight the senshi, and to otherwise be a bunch of wonderful distractions while he gathered energy from the humans, the senshi, and anyone else that might get in his way. One never knew, one of those pesky sprites might show up and truth be told he was a little curious about them, wanting to pick one of them apart to learn more about them.

"Alright, let's see about starting this party." He murmured, making a motion with his hand, summoning forth two youma from the shadows, ones that looked like a pair of large, heavily armored soldiers wielding great, two handed spears with a fancy and very sharp blade on the ends of them, "Go now, stir up some trouble Partisan, Ranseur, and see if we can't get a senshi or two to bite." The more the merrier at the moment since this was mission based more on gathering intelligence then anything... not to say that he wouldn't be gathering energy as well, but the former was far more important to him. One had to know their enemy if they were wanting to see them fall after all.

The two armored Youma bowed before jumping down off the clock tower, attacking the humans, and instantly set to work gathering the energy of those that they were able to knock unconscious. It wasn't long before the screams of the victims were filling the air, causing Spinel to smile in a bright and very pleased manner. Now that was much better, like music to his ears.

It was the screams that reached him first, something that caused a shiver to go up his back. Hektor looked around the corner toward what had become a battlefield before ducking back a moment, hands lifting to cover his ears. No, no, no... this wasn't what he wanted to deal with today! He wasn't good with battles, wasn't much of a fighter, was afraid that people would get caught up in the way that he dealt with the enemy. He couldn't even bring himself to attack an Acolyte with his senshi powers given what it would do to them. He didn't want to deal with this, but he couldn't very well ignore the screams, could he? What sort of senshi would he be then? The problem then became what if he did join? What if he got entangled in the battle and more senshi showed up? People that hated him and wanted to punish him for what he'd done on that fateful night not that long ago... he supposed it would better to finally just face them, let them get their pound of flesh, and he then maybe he would be able to sleep at night again.

Glancing out again he watched the two that were trudging around the makeshift battlefield, making a bit of a mess of it. A pair of armored youma and... after a quick look around he didn't see an acolyte anywhere. Did that mean that they were just sending out their soldiers now without anyone holding the leash? It was a frightening thought, that there might be more and more lone youma roaming about. Not that they were very lone now, were they? No, there was a pair of them and each time they struck a person down with those weapons of theirs they seemed to be draining them of their energy. What happened after they dispatched the people that had been gathered in the area? They would spread out then, wouldn't they? Attack even more people... Could he let that happen? This, guarding the humans, it wasn't his duty, his duty was to guard the prison. Given that he'd completely botched that assignment maybe he should fall back on this one? If he did more, fought Youma, protected the humans, things like that, maybe he'd be at least slightly less hated?

Giving a shiver he reached into his shirt, removing his key necklace, and used it to transform into his true self, that being Sailor Cipher. His pendant became an extra large sized key, one that doubled as a sword, and with it in hand he went charging forward toward the closest youma soldier. He would do what he could, try to herd them away from the others, and then he'd banish them. He'd do it as quickly as he was able to do, before anyone else showed up. This, cleaning up these Youma, it was the least he could do to try to make up for what he'd done. He could never fully erase his many mistakes that spread out over a vast amount of time, but he would do what he could... and if he fell here at least he fell trying to make up for all that he'd screwed up.

When Zeven heard the screams, he ran towards them. He was tired of failing, and hoping to succeed, the senshi transformed. He kept moving towards the scream, wincing at the sound. Some part of him didn't want to find out what what was making those people scream in terror; a small part. The urge to protect was bigger.

He wished Rhys was with him. He always felt braver when his boyfriend was around. He paused in his thought, spotting two youma. He froze, staring at them. Huh. Two?! He had been injured last time he'd dealt with one. Where was the acolyte in charge? There must have been one...

He hoped this wouldn't be a repeat of last time.

Spinel leaned forward upon seeing the first senshi that had arrived, a bit of a smile appearing on his lips, "Ahhh, it's that one." He mused to himself. The out cast senshi, the one that had turned on his own people, was mauled by a Guardian, and other rather fun things. If there was a senshi out there that would be easy to turn it would be that one if only because by now surely he was desperate for someone to be on his side? Grinning a bit he gave mental orders to his armored youma, "I don't want that senshi dead... but that isn't to say you aren't to beat him down a bit. He will need a bit of tough love after all." His lips turned up into a grin behind his mask as both Partisan and Ranseur turned their attention toward the approaching Sailor Cipher.

It was Partisan that moved forward to meet Sailor Cipher first, their weapons crashing together, getting tangled up, and from there it became a bit of a battle of wills and of strength. Both of them pushing forward to try to gain the upper hand so that they could strike the first blwo against the other. At least that was how it went until Ranseur arrived on the scene. The second youma lifted his weapon up, spun it around, and slammed the butt end of his spear into Cipher's ribs, dragging a cry from the senshi before Partisan lifted a leg and kicked him backwards and away from him.

The two of them lifted their weapons and continued forward after the senshi as Sailor Cipher pushed himself back to his feet, lifting his key up, brandishing it at them. The pair wasn't impressed, while they might not have any sort of expressions one could see due to their helmets it was obvious in the way that they just continued to march forward.

The blow that Cipher took to his ribs was one that made it a bit more painful to breath. He wasn't sure if anything had been cracked or broken but he knew damn well that it hurt, something that wasn't made any better by getting the kick to the chest by a giant metal boot. He had gotten thrown back where he had hit the ground, rolling a few times, before he was back on his feet again. One hand went for a moment to his ribs, testing them, before he was once more facing the onslaught of armored youma. Eesh, these guys weren't screwing around, were they? No matter, at least they were looking at him now, giving the civvies a chance to run. If they all cleared out he would be able to deal with them in a more permanent manner, something he'd do only once he was certain the place was cleared out.

Shifting in place before he lunged forward, taking a swing at the Partisan, his key weapon crashed into him, knocking him back a couple steps before he moved to try to do to the same to Ranseur. He wasn't quite fast enough though as he got struck by the butt of his weapon yet again, this time in the upper arm. Out numbered as he was, not to mention hobbled by the fact that he couldn't use his true power with innocent people around, he could only do so much. That meant he would have to deal with the various injuries he was sure to get if it meant protecting those around him and making up for all he'd done since he'd awoken in this new world. There was a split second where he found himself if the twins would patch him up again... a thought he shoved aside, not wanting to just use them as his own personal doctors. He'd just have to do his best to keep from getting injured to the point where he needed rescued again.

Looking around for a moment, taking a couple quick, scrambling steps back, Sailor Cipher found himself wondering if perhaps the other senshi were just watching. Maybe they wanted him to fail or to fall. After that would they appear to deal with the youma? He supposed he seen soon enough he thought to himself, taking a few more swings at the youma, doing his best to keep them at bad.

At the start of it all the twins were enjoying some quiet time with each other. Issac leaned with his back warm against his more slender twin. Weston silently read a book. When the two felt a sharp twinge followed by hearing screams, they exchanged looks before taking off towards the ruckus. The two slowed and Issac felt a chill down his spine as his twin leveled a stare to his back...

"Issac...." the tone was low, a horribly bad sign; "What...did you do...."

Issac went slack jawed then whirled flailing his arms, "WHY THE HELL IS SOMETHING LIKE THIS---" he flailed an arm towards the armored....things..."---ALWAYS MY DAMN FAULT?!?"

Weston kept a cool poker face as he crossed his arms, "Because. Who was it who said he'd find a way to summon demons to rain terror upon those who judged us as children?"

Issac balked....okay. So, Weston had him there. Coughing into a hand he muttered, "Yeah, well. I don't know how to..."

Weston's eyes darkened. Issac flinched, "Not like I wanna!!!!!!"

The purple haired male sighed as he put his delicate hands on his skirted hips; "Honestly. Father and Mother say don't play with the dark arts....it'll only turn against us in the end. I don't wanna glean anymore thoughts like that from you. Or else..." his tone sharpened.

Issac hung his head nodding, "Yes, elder brother."

Weston and Issac jolted as something chilled them, Weston looked up sensing that same feeling of Regret. Issac looked around for the source of the chill. At hearing his brother's soft gasp the male looked up...there was the pink haired male from all those weeks ago!

A cool breeze ruffled Johan’s long locks; his ponytail fluttering in the wind. He adjusted the bag in his arms carefully, as he walked home from the grocery store. He had decided to pick up some essentials like milk, and bread. And that’s when he heard the screams. He nearly dropped his groceries in surprise. What was going on? There was only one way to find out! He quickly stuffed his bag someplace safe that he could return to later, and ran in the direction of the screams. Nearby two heavily-armored youma were attacking citizens. Immediately Johan decided he needed to put a stop to this. After all, he had taken the code of an honorable samurai seriously. He would protect the public, just as he had protected his King. And if in the process he was able to gather energy, than even better. Quickly he transformed into Sakura and summoned his blade. As he got closer he saw that a senshi was there; the same senshi that had been attacked by the escaping Guardians. And it seemed he had taken a few attacks. Right away, Sakura moved to assist him. “Here, allow me!” he called out, slicing down on the nearest youma; Ranseur.

Slinking through the shadows, Garm was watching the scene before him unfold with interest. Someone powerful had summoned youma to the city. He couldn’t tell where they were now, but they obviously had quite a lot of strength to summon two as powerful as these. Just then, a senshi had appeared on the scene and an all too familiar scent pervaded Garm’s nose. Cipher! He was fighting the youma! No doubt trying to be some kind of hero, Garm guessed. Hatred fueled the dog, and his blood boiled. He let out a loud howl and immediately raced at his enemy. He took the opportunity to snap at Cipher’s heels. This time, if he was able to get a good bite, perhaps Cipher would not be able to run away. If this failed, he would resort to his more powerful attack and summon his collar.

Sakura saw the dog approaching. He recognized him from before and new things were not looking good. This meant he would most likely have to keep the dog from attacking the senshi as well as defeat the youma. Today was looking to be quite eventful it seemed. Hopefully no other enemies would show up to the party.

Spinel's lips turned up into a bit of a smirk behind his mask as he saw the new arrival, a Sprite from the looks of him, who had come to aid the out number senshi. Interesting, he had really been hoping that one of them would show up, it would give him a chance to really study them and learn how they fought. He wasn't one that enjoyed going into any battle blind, as such getting a chance to study the Sprites before he battled one would be helpful, "Ranseur, go a little easy on that one. I want to see how the Sprites do battle. It will be useful going forward." Sprites were a faction that weren't really good or evil, they followed their own rules and their own codes. This one must be a do-gooder sort but he knew that others out there were more concerned for their King and their own missions. As such it was good to learn about them, just in case.

Then something else showed up, something he knew well if only because he'd met one of its kind in the past. A Guardian, one that seemed to be trying to eat the pink haired senshi up. He studied it a moment, debated, then said, "I already have a Guardian to work with making the dog useless, kill it if it gets in the way. I won't lose valuable information on the Senshi and Sprites because of some worthless mutt."

The red, glowing eyes of Ranseur and Partisan seemed to flicker within their helmets before they continued on with the current battle, following the orders given to them. This battle was one to test those who showed up, or at least those their Master found interesting. As such while Ranseur was only too happy to battle with Sakura and to test the Sprites strength it would become obvious to anyone watching closely that each swing of his weapon was meant only to injure, not to kill. Sure, they might beat their current opponents into the ground but they would by no means kill them. Now Garm on the other hand, he would be handled with far less of a gentle hand if the need for such a thing arose.

Partisan had his attention mostly on Cipher, though would still take a few swings at the Guardian if he got too close or interfered too much. As it stood though it seemed that the dog was far more interested in the senshi then he was in fighting with the youma, as such, for the time being at least Partisan wasn't going to bother with him. He'd only lift his weapon against the dog if he 'got in the way' as Spinel had put it. Once he did that then Garm would be dealt with.

Sailor Cipher gave a little jump when he heard a voice alongside him offering him... help? He glanced to one side, his eyes going wide behind the mask he wore. A... Sprite? A sprite was coming to help him? Truth be told that was actually the very last person that he had thought would appear to help him out in such a manner. He knew so little about them himself, having been set so far away from everyone else, still it was nice to have the help. He turned his attention back to Partisan, glad that the battle seemed to finally at least be evening out. He might survive this one after all he thought to himself as his key locked up with Partisan's spear once more.

It would seem as though Fate had it out for Cipher though, just as he was about to possible get the upper hand against the armored youma there was suddenly searing pain in the back of his leg, drawing a cry of pain from him. Whirling around around he that damn dog Guardian there again, "You!" He gasped out, turning slightly, lifting his weapon up to try to take a swing at him to chase him off. He couldn't very well fight with a Guardian, and he had no desire to kill him, but he really couldn't have the damn thing chewing on the back of his leg. Of course as his attention turned to Garm it gave Partisan an opening to do as he would. As such a moment after he'd taken his swing at Garm the armored youma struck him full on with the haft of his spear across the midsection, sending him flying.

Cipher hit the ground a short distance away, rolled a couple times, and ended up on his back starring up at the expanse of blue sky that one could only see in the park. The whole world seemed to whirl around him as he tried to catch the breath that had been knocked from him. He was really all for just laying there for a while, even knowing that he was in a perfect to get mauled by Garm or more thoroughly beaten on by Partisan, but then he saw something terrible. Well, not terrible-terrible, but just terrible because it was the last two people he wanted to be here. Turning his head slightly he found himself glancing up and up toward the twins... and he found himself wanted to scream at them. To tell them to get out of here. It was hard to find the words though, instead he was soon dragging himself painfully back to his feet, standing between them and the various dangers that presented themselves, that being both Garm and the youma, "Y-You should g-get out of here... t-too dangerous..." He got out between clenched teeth, lifting his weapon up to point it at Garm and Partisan, wondering if the Guardian was working with the enemy now.

Sakura tried his best to parry Ranseur’s attacks. His blade came down to block for every swing Ranseur made; being careful to protect his wings. But this was getting no where. Ever so slowly, Sakura was being pushed back. This youma was strong. Out of the corner of his eye, Sakura saw Garm attack Cipher. And in the instant that Cipher was sidetracked by the dog, Sakura watched as the pink-haired senshi was knocked back by Partisan. “Dammit,” he muttered. Garm was presenting quite a problem. But Sakura could not take his attention away from Ranseur. Even as he looked on, Ranseur was not giving him the opportunity to fall back and attend to the senshi. The youma was apparently intent on keeping Sakura busy. If he could not entirely defeat it, perhaps he could at least force it to retreat.

Garm was taken by surprise when Cipher was attacked by Partisan. He immediately let go of the senshi. He watched him land on the ground a ways away. It only took a moment for Garm to recover from the surprise though. And he moved to attack Cipher again.

But something stopped him in his tracks. He screeched to a halt. A familiar face; it was Weston! “s**t,” he growled. “What do I do?” His heart was a mix of feelings. After all, that boy had provided him with care and food. He owed him one. He had already decided that. Standing dumbfounded his mind was racing. Perhaps if he could get Weston away from the fight, then he could continue his pursuit of Cipher? But what was this? Cipher had risen to his feet and was urging Weston away from the fight! As if they were ……friends? Cipher cared about him?

Garm growled. “This can’t be. It just-it can’t!” What was this feeling? In a fit of anger he found himself transforming once again. As a human, he stood waving an accusatory finger at Cipher. “YOU!” He stepped forward, ignoring Partisan and Ranseur, focusing all his attention on Cipher and the boys. He was not about to allow Cipher to take his first ‘companion’ away from him; the first person who was kind to him in ages. In his mind, Cipher had already stolen his freedom, he was not about to let him take a friend.

At first the twins were shocked that the pink haired male would tell them to flee. Weston tilted his head at the sight of the dog...okay....no. Garm went after the male...and from what he remembered. Oh....COME ON!!!!!!!!!!! Weston's eyes narrowed as he glanced to his twin. Issac blinked at the shifter before looking around for something to use....

Weston thought quickly, "Issac! Go make sure these things aren't bother anyone else! I think our two friends here got things under control."

Issac didn't question his sibling, giving the other a quick nod before taking off for the guy with wings. Weston turned slightly steely eyes back to the duo before him, "Gentlemen. As much as I would love to encourage this little soap opera..." he tilted his head to the armored giant, "I don't think he would appericate the neglect. Save the issues for another time." he gave Garm a pointed look.

Issac got half way to the sprite before stopping...how the hell was he suppose to help out here? Wave his arms like an idiot and hope the cyclops would follow.....Issac shrugged, "Worth a try....YO OVERGROWN TIN CAN!!!!!!! Bet you can't catch me!!!!!!" he would take off if the big thing turned....

Woah, who sent the idiots in? Seven grimanced, glancing towards the boy who was hollering. For a moment, his focus was on the boy, rather than the situation at hand, but only for that one moment. He wasn't sure he wanted to enter the battle. His last few had gone badly. Every single one of them. He didn't want to be a failure. He didn't want to keep that reputation. He didn't want to look stupid--and so he transformed, summoning his water whips and preparing to fight. This time, this time for sure. He wouldn't stop fighting until he had won. But first, he had to get those civilians away from here.

"Run! Get out of here, it isn't safe!" He shouted, gesturing wildly. "Get to safety!" He spotted Cipher, and hesitated. Huh. Wasn't that the guy who'd-- no never mind. It didn't matter. They were all on the same side. "Ready?" He asked, glancing towards him. "Lets kick some a**." And make Rhys proud, at last.

Hektor's eyes went wide behind the mask that he wore when the dog shifted from one form to another, taking on a human like disguise. He couldn't help but to feel shocked, mouth dropping open a little. The Guardians were capable of something like that? Could they always do that? He couldn't really say, he hadn't exactly spent any face time with them, it was his job to keep the prison locked, to keep the creatures inside where they belonged. Now that they were out he was learning more and more about them, things that he wasn't sure. Shaking his head, trying to clear his shock, he found himself falling back a step as the dog turned human snarled at him and pointed at him in an accusing manner. Him...? Him, what? What was he going on about?

It was then that Weston spoke up behind him causing him to give a glance back and forth between the two of them. There was a moment where he wondered if perhaps they knew each other... but surely not? He felt a moment of anger go through him as Weston mocked them, talking about a 'little soap opera' as though it were so simple. Then again it wasn't as though he had any idea of what had transpired between them, didn't know that the dog would be more then happy to kill him... and Cipher found the idea of fighting back as a difficult one. He didn't want to harm the Guardians anymore then he already had after all, not to mention that just a couple bites from the big dog wasn't nearly enough to constitute the 'pound of flesh' that he owed him. He'd probably have to allow the guy to chew his arm right off. A shiver went through him at the thought and he did his best to shove it aside, trying to focus.

It was then that he heard Issac calling out, yelling at one of youma... and he wanted nothing more then to go to him, to try to keep him from doing something so foolish, especially given that the youma were after human energy. He would just get drained... provided of course the youma took the bait of sort that was Issac daring the youma to catch him. He looked toward Issac a moment... then back to the Guardian. It was then that he saw that Partisan was on the move again, stalking forward toward them, before the youma flipped his weapon around, blade pointed forward, before drawing back. It took but a moment for him to realize what the youma was planning, to stab the Guardian in the back. It was something that he responded to instantly, taking a couple quick steps forward, grabbing hold of Garm by the arm, and threw him to one side... and found the blade of Partisan's spear burying itself in his shoulder for his efforts, something that drew another cry from him as blood bubbled up from the deep wound.
PostPosted: Fri Sep 19, 2014 6:17 pm

As Partisan attacked, burying his weapon in Cipher instead of his actual target the youma went still, hearing Spinel yelling in his head as he wounded the one that he had been watching. He had wanted to watch that one, to use him perhaps, not to kill him, "That is about enough! I might need that one alive, kick him aside and see about actually dealing with that dog... and those humans, see to it that they are drained." Spinel ordered Partisan.

Turning his attention then to Ranseur he gave a thoughtful sound, debating on what it was that he should have him do save for continue on with his dueling with the Spirte. That was until he saw his 'favorite' senshi appear. Ahhh, well now, it would appear as though Sailor Tethys had made it? Interesting, not someone he needed information on since he already knew him but he also knew that he had useful power. Watching him as he manipulated those whips he set about taking the power for himself, feeling that it could be useful if he needed to step into the battle himself. He wasn't sure if he would be fighting, not as long as his youma stood, but once they fell he might very well want to jump into the fight himself to try out his hand against those who had showed themselves thus far.

"Partisan, Ranseur, don't worry about Sailor Tethys. I know him well and killing him won't matter one bit to me." He told them walking along the edge of the roof where he was watching from, squatting down so he could get a better view, ever smiling behind the mask. How he was enjoying this party, save of course for the little slip up by Partisan. Even that could be forgiven though since it was just a shoulder wound, nothing vital. He could patch him up if he decided that he was useful enough to take he thought to himself, quite pleased with the way the game was playing out.

Garm growled at the air of familiarity between Cipher and Weston. But he didn’t have long to think about it. The dog was taken aback when Cipher quickly moved forward and tossed him to the side. At first he was furious, until he realized his mistake. By turning his back on the enemy he had made himself a target and Cipher had just…….saved him? “What?!” he barked, red eyes widening in terror as Partisan’s spear pierced Cipher’s shoulder. Garm could feel his heart beating wildly in his chest. He was panicking. What was that idiot thinking?

He snapped, “Fool! Why did you do that?!” He was practically shouting. Garm was confused. Why would the senshi that had locked him up, an all around bad guy, try and save him? Garm bit his lip, deep in thought. He got up quickly, and moved toward Cipher. Part of him wanted to give the senshi a swift punch to the gut, but his arms, instead, wove their way around Cipher’s stomach as Garm made an effort to pick him up and swing him over his shoulder. If he could get him away from battle, perhaps he could question him. Not to mention Weston was there. Perhaps he could bandage up the key-bearing idiot. “Weston!” he called out, “See if you can’t patch this ‘baka’ up.” He knew he was asking a lot, but perhaps the twins would comply.

Just then Isaac shot by. Garm didn’t really have any qualms with Weston’s brother. So much was going on and he had his hands full with Cipher.

As Sakura battled on, Isaac appeared by his side, shouting at Ranseur. What was he trying to do? Get killed? Sakura jumped back and took a defensive stance. Ranseur’s attention was now on Isaac though. With Ranseur’s focus no longer on Sakura, the fairy took this opportunity to deal as heavy a blow as he possibly could. He jumped into the air and flew downward using the force of his body and blade against the youma. But would it do any damage?
