Anime

Lottie's first love is Anime she started watching it when she was in elementary school. This is when she noticed her first mahou shoujo (Magical girl) anime - Puella Magi Madoka Magica. From that moment on Lottie couldn't get enough of anime. She enjoys watching it with her friends and nerding out over it, and even goes so far as to find them in their original language which to her is much more preferred over the English version. She's even picked up some of the language and totally uses it like a pro (right?)! Well okay Lottie's a bit of a weeaboo, and totally cosplays with her friend Nixie and speaks horrible Japanese. But hey Lottie thinks they're pros.

Sailing

Lottie enjoys sailing her father owns a small boat, it's not horribly fancy but it's pretty! Ever since she was small Lottie loved to learn how to work on deck and even steer the boat! The smell of fresh sea water and being able to sunbath too, makes Lottie's days pretty enjoyable when she's not busy with anime or other things.

Collecting

Lottie didn't start collecting until after she was introduced to the concept, and since then she has grown a fairly impressive collection. She's managed to get all the accessories and items from her favorite magical girl anime (Puella Magi Madoka Magica) and she has nendoroid figures from a lot of the other animes that she loves to watch! Though admittedly her favorite figures are from the Touhou Project Series. There's just something so cute and sweet about Patchouli Knowledge which makes this particular figure the highlight of Lottie's collection!

Music

Lottie likes music and has learned to play the violin. While at Crystal she takes violin lessons and enjoys playing the classics like Beethoven and Bach. However, when she's home or with her small group of friends, Lottie's musical choices turn into something a little different. Yes she does often learn the theme song and music to the anime they're currently obsessed with but she also enjoys learning other popular music. Actually, Lindsey Sterling is a big influence on her violin playing; Lottie wishes she could be half as cool with the Violin!

Virtues:

Honest

Despite Lottie's apparent lack of sympathy and distance to everyone else, she can be very open. If something is bothering her or doesn't seem right Lottie doesn't mind speaking up and letting someone know how she feels about it. Often times she only opens up to her friends in order to keep from being hurt by those she doesn't trust. However, if it's not a personal matter Lottie will speak her mind freely and often she feels as if she's done the right thing no matter what comes of this opinion.

Calm

Thanks to Lottie's ability to distance herself she's able to keep herself calm in situations. In fact, unless she's around close friends Lottie rarely lets her excitement show! The fact that Lottie can stay so calm lets her think more logically about what's going on around her and either stopping something if it's going to cause a problem or to try and help out if she wants to even if it's something as small as picking up the phone and calling the professionals.

Flaws:

Lack of Sympathy

If Lottie doesn't know your or doesn't understand what you're going on about she'll appear as if she doesn't have any sympathy at all for you. That man on the street asking for money? He's just a beggar she's sure he could do better if he just tried or she'll tell someone to suck it up if she thinks that the problem is just something they're not willing to handle their-selves. This makes Lottie come off really cold and uncaring for others and can dissuade people from trying to be her friend.

Distant

Lottie can often appear distant and as if she's not paying attention to the world around her. Never noticing if her close friends have decided to use her as a leaning post, or what the teacher is saying. Lottie's distance can often cause people to lose interest in her or be offended that she doesn't seem like she's paying attention. Often she gets called out for this behavior as well, which will sometimes catch Lottie off guard but occasionally she proves she's paying attention to something. However, what she was paying attention to may not have been what was expected from her.

@Open - I did flip the word to Honest. I was going for open but honest does work better the way I've written it. Which I usually do end up writing a virtue/flaw and renaming it later.



Why? Well - - For one it's totally cosmic irony and me and Song have some ideas on what we're doing with this cosmic irony as to why we have them set up this way.

I was kind of thinking they ended up at the wrong place, at the wrong time and 'well s**t.' scenario - sometimes it's easier to just take the dweebs and put them to use.

Also I feel like Lottie's "well offness" is a little. . . um like she's not HIGH Teir DC but she's high enough to be in crystal and her father has a small sail boat. Basically she's between rich and middle class.

This looks good! My only advice is to make sure you talk with your artist to ensure that there isn't too much cosplay, but I think this works all right in terms of being a tribute to the pokemon designs! I can't wait to see how she looks when she grows!
