ANIME || Nixie loves anime. Like, loves it loves it. She is every older fan's nightmare, because she is the weebest of weeaboos. She can quote Naruto, will practically throw down over subs being infinitely superior to dubs, speaks just enough Japanese to look terrible, and gleefully cosplays, particularly with her BFF Lottie. She is a loud yaoi fangirl, the actual worst kind of shipper, and generally exactly the sort of fan that other fans who are less weeb cry about and speak of in hushed, horrified tones.
Peoplewatching || Some might refer to it as "creeping," Nixie call it "observing." She loves to plonk herself down in a crowded place, watch the people go by, and let her imagination wander. People are fascinating creatures, and there is nothing better than trying to fill in the stories of their lives based on thirty seconds of watching them, amirite?
Collections || Nixie collects. She collects anything and everything. She has a huge collection of pens that she has "acquired," about a thousand Beanie Babies, cards from just about every trading or collectible card game (even if she has no idea how to play) and just about anything else that you can throw yourself into acquiring a ton of.
The Sims || Nixie loves Sims. She loves manipulating the lives of her adorable little digital creations, watching them fall in love, and eventually even die. She has collected every game and every expansion pack for the PC, though she hasn't branched out to other systems or the "spinoffs." Nixiee maintains online story blogs for her Sims gameplay challenges, and she loves doing legacy challenges of many stripes and kinds.
Virtues:
Affectionate || Nixie loves everybody, and she is not afraid to show it. She showers her friends in love and affection, and is thoroughly huggy and kissy and otherwise very, very friendly.
Open-minded || Nixie does not care if you are different than her. She is open to anyone's opinion, and is utterly non judgmental. What is the point of judging someone anyway? All it does is make people unhappy, and it's a stressor to be so worried about what other people are or do. Nixie is really not fond of being stressed.
Optimistic || There is absolutely nothing ever that will get Nixie down. Rejection? No problem, there are plenty of fish in the sea! Friend is upset? Hugs will fix that, and if not hugs, clearly it is time to go for ice cream! Lose a battle against a White Moon Senshi? It's okay, try again, it'll go better next time! The future is an open book and a thoroughly happy place, and getting there will always be worth the journey.
Flaws:
Space Invader || Nixie has no sense of personal space. Like, thoroughly zero. She gets way too close to people, and is utterly oblivious to their discomfort. She simply does not see that perhaps her new, random best friend might not appreciate her being less than a foot away at all times!
Clingy || Besides utterly not caring about your personal space, Nixie will attach to you like some kind of terrifying female facehugger. (Or armhugger, whatever.) She is also emotionally clingy, and anyone she has any sort of attachment to will find her calling at all hours of the night with all kinds of problems.
