 It's not one of the fanciest booths in the carnival, but it's obvious that someone has put a lot of time and care into it. It's decorated with cowboil paraphernalia and hobby horses of all sizes and designs, and behind the booth stands a short ghoul who greets you with a friendly smile. "Hey, I'm Leo! Want to try the hobby horse race course? It's pretty jackin' awesome if I have to say so myself and I've got some sweet prizes too - carnival tickets and minipets galore! So, whadya say?"

Beside Leo's booth, a small race course has been set up featuring various obstacles. She solemnly hands you a hobby horse and a cowboil hat before pointing to the lovingly painted 'START!'-sign at the beginning of the course.

1-25: You've never handled a hobby horse before in your life, have you? Leo sighs and gives you a sympathetic clap on the shoulder. (Fail)
26-50: Success! You managed that course like a pro - Leo hands you a carnival ticket with a grin.

Shiki peered at the booth then shrugged. How hard could this be? He picked up one of the hobby horses and looked it over before deciding to give the thing a try.
He promptly falls on his face skinning his palms as the hobby horse slides across the ground. Ugh, he should have kept walking. With tears in his eyes he jumped to his feet and took off.

Wally stuck the cowboil hat on his head proudly and hopped onto the hobby horse. The course looked like it was going to be really fun.
However, as he started running he realized that running with a stick between your legs was really difficult, and he had no idea where the tail end was going. In the end, he knocked some stuff over.
Oh well, he tried.

There didn't seem to be many people at this booth yet, so Ryou approached it. "Ummmm...mind it if I give it a try?"
Taking a hobby horse and cowboil hat, he walked towards the starting line. At the whistle, he did whatever he was supposed to do and really hoped that he wouldn't fall on his face.

Well, lately the booths just haven't been her thing at all. So, when the horses appeared the demon was sure she'd fail horribly at riding the horse. However, to her surprise, she had somehow leapt right onto that horse and managed to actually get somewhere. It seemed she was a real nature! Beaming at the occurrence, she couldn't help the slight bounce in her steps once she had leapt off the horse.
Well, she was good at something.

Of course, Mei had to make a pit stop at her best friend's booth. It was so cute and adorable. And Leo was so cute and adorable in her outfit. "Leo!" She eyeballed the cowboil stuff before giving the other ghoul a tight hug. "I'm gonna play your game." Slapping the cowboy hat on her head and grabbing the hobby horse, Mei made her way through the course. Watching as others around her didn't fair too well. But for her it was easy enough. When she reached the end she grinned. "Looks like you might need to change it up now that I'm the champion~"

Llyr found both the booth and it's owner to be quite pleasing, so he drifted aimlessly over and stood beside it, gazing at it with a somewhat curious expression on his face. For a few moments it seemed that he was just going to stand there, but then he reached out and accepted both the hobby horse and the hat, plunking it happily atop his head of dark hair.

The booth was an interesting idea. It was fun thought, and if he was in the mood, he would have found it more appealing. Perhaps it was just the day... he may have to come back another time to try again. Because this time, the booth owner - Leo was the name, simply smiled and offered another try another time. He'd take him up on that offer.

Leo already had the harpy at "race", but tickets and minis never hurt!
She wasn't too sure what to do at hobby horse racing, but it sounded fun, and it never hurt to try something new~
And so, she picked one out, donned the cowboil hat and let out a wide grin.
Away, horsey, away!
Unfortunately, she hadn't quite figured out how it worked, and ended up tripping and falling instead.

One, two, one, two, with a rhythm she moved her legs forward. It was finished in a slow speed but she didn't knock down anything on her way. "Thank you, it was fun." The ghoul took the ticket with a flushed smile.

Adelaide would be lying if she said she wasn't just a little uncomfortable. Watching everyone ride around on the hobby horses made the equine Nightmare feel a little prickle on the back of her neck, a neglected sense of duty bothering her like a persistent fly. She tried to wave it off and join the festivities, though...for obvious reasons...she really didn't know what to do.
And oh boy, did it show. It was an awful attempt but...at least she made the attempt. Pursing her lips, she made a mental note to find the booth again to give it another go. She would not be beaten by this...weird...situation!
