In one of the busier parts of town the Hospital has entrances, hallways, and room of great size and many shapes. There is a landing pad for helicopters and for other large flying creatures as well. The workers hear are armed to the teeth with modern medical science and healing magic, potions, spells, and chants.

Sol helped the pale man into the hospital and up to the counter. "These two need medical attention, Fuyuki here has some sort of frost bite or freezer burn type issue and Aoi seems to have some broken bones and is coughing up blood. One is immortal the other a dragon." He turned to look at them when the nurse entered some information into the computer and doctors came out to take them to the appropriate centers. Magic made fixing things a lot easier, so it wouldn't take them too long.

Luna nodded politely to the nurse, she seemed rather numb and void of emotion at the moment. She was in one of those stages. "Follow the doctors and stuff. You know." She looked at Aoi for a moment as a doctor came over to tend to him and lead him off.

[Enter Fuyuki and Aoi from the forest.]

When he entered the hospital, a blast of cold air from the air condition hit Fuyuki in the face and he clung closer to Sol, clinging to his warmth. He didn't say anything as Sol explained the injuries and who was what. He felt terrible for troubling the odd twins. "Sorry for troubling you," he said as a doctor came over to take him to an examination room.

None of the hospital staff seemed alarmed at the sight of a pale man with bad frost burn or a man with blood covering his shirt. Knowing this must be a normal day for them, Aoi half-grinned and shrugged his shoulders. Kuro Shiro really was not a normal town, and he liked it for its quirkiness.

Then, with a slight bow to Luna, Aoi smiled as he thanked her and Sol yet again for their kindness and help.
"I'm sorry I have made you uncomfortable, Miss Luna. I don't know how to repay either one of you." He had plenty of wealth from over the years, but he doubted they would want it. At best, he could give Luna silk clothes that shimmered like moonlight on water or jewels and other gems that were similar to the moon and night. Sol would received things that were like the warmth of the sun, but only if the two wished for such things. Honestly, Aoi had no real way to repay the twins without offering them his services, an option he would never give. He'd only lend them his company, but never his powers. He had enough of being used.

With another bow and smile, the immortal elemental walked off with his doctor and obeyed his commands as he was examined.

[Will the twins wait for my troublemakers or go their own way?]

Sol nodded as the pale man walked off and he walked back to his sister. "Should we head off somewhere? They should be in good hands now, maybe we could go grab a bite to eat or something?"[/color

Luna Estrella's behavioral phase was changing, noticeable by her straightening up some and holding her chin a little higher. "I'm not hungry though, maybe we could poke around the hospital gift shop?"

"Sure, they usually have something interesting in those little shops." He followed Luna to the corner which was converted into a room with glass walls used as a gift shop. Luna liked knickknacks, so maybe he could find something that would help her lighten up.

((IDK depends on how long they take. Luna and Sol don't know what to do with themselves they usually just wander about))

In the examination room, Fuyuki was wrapped in a thermal blanket as some witch and wizard nurses fussed around him for fifteen minutes before the doctor came back in and cast a spell on him. He watched as the frost burns on his body turned pink before his skin returned to its normal hue. He sighed with relief as he felt all his digits again. The dragon wondered what kind of healing magic the spell caster used, but didn't ask. Last time he asked a priestess witch about her spells, she put a rain cloud curse on him. It took several days for him to get rid of the rain cloud.

The doctor prescribed Fuyuki some painkillers and several days of bed rest, including no shapeshifting or magic usage. The spell took a lot of energy out of his body, he'd need to eat plenty to stay healthy, so using magic would put unnecessary strain on him. The dragon thanked the doctor and went to the receptionist desk and filled out a form for the hospital to bill him later. Afterwards, he wandered the hospital, searching for the odd twins who helped him. He found them in the glittering gift shop. He never understood how hospital gift shops always ended up with glass figurines and knickknacks, but they always caught his eye. Call it the stereotypical dragon in him, the one that liked hoarding glittering, shiny things, but he could say that about anyone, children especially. Pretty things were hard to ignore.
"I almost thought you two left the hospital," he said as he came up behind them, looking over Luna's shoulder at the waxing crescent moon glass figurine.

Aoi lied on his back, staring up at the white light shining from the ceiling. The nurses took his bloody clothes and replaced them with a hospital nightgown—they told him they would give him hospital sweats later when he was released—as he waited for the doctor to come back, but first, they had to check his vitals. Yes, his vitals, it was important to check the vitals of an immortal elemental who couldn't die, at least not easily. Yet he didn't complain, the nurses were just doing their jobs, they even cleaned him up, wiping away the blood from his mouth and neck. They were efficient and skilled, Aoi suspected they were used to clumsy and foolish people like him, so he didn't mind it.

Aoi just didn't like the cold fingers of the doctor, she needed to warm her hands, but again, he didn't complain. She was doing her job, which consisted of icing his chest for ten minutes, drying his chest, and tightly wrapping his chest with bandages. After thirty minutes of this, the immortal was given several painkiller prescriptions, a gentle scolding, and a reminder to set a followup appointment with the hospital. Aoi would do as instructed to humor the doctor, which he did after getting dressed. The hospital sweats were a size too big for him, the shoes, too, yet they were better than walking around stark nude. Plus, they were warm, which made setting up the followup and hospital form-filling more comfortable. He wasn't sure where Sol and Luna went—he didn't care for Fuyuki, he didn't like dragons in general—because he wanted to thank them again, and ask which motel or hotel was the best to stay in. For the past fourteen months, he lived in the forest and caves to avoid people as much as possible.

[It doesn't take long to set Aoi's broken ribs or heat up a cold turkey like Fuyuki. I think Aoi and Fu will take about half an hour at most.]

Luna twitched like she'd been startled. "That didn't take you long." She said more confidently than before. "We didn't know what to do and I love little shops like these. Figurines and stuffed animals are my favorite." She picked up the statue and looked it over a bit before walking off to look around some more.

Sol nodded as his sister spoke. "Eventually maybe we can get a duplex or something and you can have a room just for collecting them hmm?" He said smiling much brighter than his twin ever did. "You all squared away dragon boy?" He asked looking back at him.

Fuyuki looked at all the figurines surrounding them, understanding Luna's love for them, though he didn't like stuffed animals much. He didn't see the point in having fake animals when he could have real ones to hunt down and eat. It was just his preference of course, just like having glittering things was his preference. The dragon wanted to comment on the figurine, but Luna walked away with it, leaving him with Sol and his question. "I'm never going to pick a fight with Zaya again. Death's a sure thing." The white-haired man crossed his arms and rubbed his hands on them. A single thought about Zaya brought the memory of the chill back. "Besides, he won't speak with me. I think after fighting dragons, ones like me, and losing Akane, he's fed up with conflict. If I anger him, he'll freeze my blood." The stories his parents and Clan members told him and the other dragons were warning enough for him. With a single stroke of his hand, Zaya slayed a thousand dragons and a legion of soldiers by freezing their blood in their bodies. "Actually, now that I think about it, Zaya reminds me of Luna, except she's pretty and not scary," said the dragon as an afterthought.

After five minutes of searching, Aoi spotted Sol and Luna in the hospital gift shop. Fuyuki was with them. The immortal would avoid them until the dragon was gone. Strictly speaking, the elemental did not speak to dragons unless necessary, which was the case earlier, though he remained polite when he spoke to Miss Lizzy. Fuyuki was another matter, though he wouldn't insult or degrade the white dragon, he'd just avoid speaking to him as much as possible, which he did now. The dragon's flirting with both the twins. Or just one of them, he couldn't tell from his vantage point seeing as he was now hiding from them. Fuyuki was talking to Sol, but staring at Luna. Plus, he was terrible at relationships, so he was no expert.

Sol looked at the dragon man, "What do you mean by that?" He looked over at his sister. "She is very unpredictable, just like how every night the moon is different it seems she is like that too. You should see her on the bad days." He chuckled a bit.

Luna turned to head back, having added another figure, a glass figurine of a moon, that was held up and half-covered by clouds. She liked all the sculptures and figurines, but those made with metals, glass, and moonstones, and some opals, were her favorites. She looked up at the men and stopped to decide which one she wanted the most.

Fuyuki straightened his posture as he thought up how to answer Sol's question without sounding ignorant or foolish. What he knew about Aoi came from stories passed through the family from elders who survived battles with him. "Well, the the moon controls the tides, so they are similar in that aspect, but the unpredictability part sounds like Aoi pre-Akane's death. But not like how the moon's different, but how every day is different based on who he has met and when and where. And, without Akane, he wouldn't so much leave the battlefield. Akane kept him tempered, though it always seemed the opposite case since they are, well, Akane was the elemental of fire, Aoi's still the water elemental." Fuyuki scratched the back of his head as he thought how to explain this. It wasn't making much sense to him anymore, but he knew he was right. "Both Aoi and Luna prosper under the warmth of their twins, I guess. With you by her side, Luna isn't so vulnerable. I bet Aoi felt the same with Akane. But, anyways, my great-grandmother, she managed to survive a battle against both of them, lost a wing and leg, but hey, it's war, and she said after the battle, our clan captured several enemy dragons and soldiers, and they all told the same stories about those twins. They were hardly apart. Akane always expressed her happiness the way most of us do. Aoi, he was subtler, never smiling, but they said you could always tell he was happy with his sister by his side. I think, since Akane died, he's been smiling to hide all his pain and sadness. I bet he's super depressed now that I say it aloud. I wish I thought of this earlier." The dragon glanced over at Luna as she looked at the figurines. She was cute about it. They were all glittering things as well. He smiled sadly in her direction before looking back at Sol. "I think Luna would be very unhappy if you left her," said the white-haired man as he recrossed his arms. He was still cold.

Aoi ended up falling asleep in a lounge chair while waiting for the twins to finish talking to Fuyuki. It wasn't a comfortable position, but he still feel asleep, which meant his body got to start healing in overdrive mode. He'd wake up sore and extremely hungry later. If not sooner because the water elemental just had the best of luck. A nightmare, he was having a nightmare, and it was the worst kind in the world, the one where it's a terrible memory no one wanted to remember. The immortal wished he could send it away, but he was trapped in a battlefield surrounded by slain men and dragons, his clothes soaked crimson from their blood, angry at all of them. It was a never-ending battle and he just got bloodier and bloodier as the bodies kept piling up around him. He felt trapped and hopeless.

"I would be sad without her too. I had no idea he was a twin." Sol commented as he thought about what the dragon man was telling him. Luna arrived moments later with neither figurine. Rather she was holding up a necklace made of moonstone.

"Can I have this Sol? You keep the money." Luna asked, holding out the necklace like a kid. Her lips spread into a smile when Sol took it from her.

"Sure thing, be right back." He dipped his head to the dragon and went to pay.

Luna looked over at Fuyuki, "You have a room at the end or do you sleep in caves?" She didn't even bothering wondering if that was a rude question or not.

Fuyuki shrugged, but then thought about what he just told Sol. "Ah, if you see Aoi again, don't mention I told you about his sister. I don't want to die." He scratched the back of his head and smiled nervously before he glanced over at Luna. Neither of the figurines were in her hands, but the necklace was pretty. He doubted Sol would refuse to buy it for her. As for her question, the dragon didn't mind it. He liked her bluntness. It was kind of cute. "I've been snoozing in caves. It's free that way, though I might get a room for some proper bed rest. What about you two, shacking it up in a hotel or a nice, comfy cave?" he asked them.

Aoi
PostPosted: Sun Aug 10, 2014 9:36 pm

Luna smiled. "We are at the hotel. It is a nice place just make sure you don't destroy anything. I don't want to sleep in a cave it doesn't sound comfortable."

Sol returned with the necklace at put it on her. "There ya go." He said looking over. "Hmm... I think that Aoi is asleep out there." He said as he looked through the glass. "Come on Luna, let's show him where the hotel is. He looks like at this rate he will wake up and his head won't be able to turn."

"Okay sure." She agreed, "See ya." she said to Fuyuki as she tagged along with her brother. She watched curiously, from a little distance, as Sol gently put his hand on the sleeping man.

Fuyuki smiled at Luna, liking her sense of humor, even if she was being utterly serious. He liked her. She was funny. "M'kay, see ya' at the hotel. And good luck waking him up." Waving goodbye to the twins, Fuyuki left for the hotel and figured the twins would bring the water elemental back to the hotel as well. He'd do well to avoid Aoi so he wouldn't upset him. Good thing the elemental was born human and had acute human senses. It'd be terrible if he had a bear's nose.

[Exit Fuyuki to the hotel.]

From one horrible memory to the next, Aoi didn't enjoy sleeping like most people. All he had were nightmares, nothing could make him feel better. One moment the emperor was threatening to behead one of his younger brothers, the next he stood in the air elemental's personal quarters. Always, always, he tried to find the warmth that kept him content, Akane's warmth, but it was elusive, like a minnow, until he felt warmth on his shoulder.

Starting, the immortal opened his eyelids and stared down at his shoulder where he felt the warmth. It was a man's hand, and attached to that hand was an arm, shoulder...and Sol. Stifling a groan, Aoi politely lifted Sol's hand off him before standing up. It was a struggle, but he didn't show it. Showing weakness, even to kind people, always lead him to trouble.
"Thank you for waking me. I didn't mean to fall asleep." His entire body ached and he was hungry. Healing really did take a lot out of him when he was injured. "Right, I haven't been into town until today, and I assume you two don't live in caves or trees like I do, so where is the town's hotel?" Getting right to the point saved him the trouble of explaining away the mundane "What were you dreaming about?" topic most humans ask after waking a sleeping person.
PostPosted: Sun Aug 10, 2014 10:30 pm

"That is why we were waking you actually. We have rooms at the hotel so we can show you." Sol smiled warmly and didn't seem disturbed by Aoi at all. "But if you don't want to follow us, go to the square and look for the largest building with gargoyles. It is the only inn that Kuro Shiro has."

"They have small rooms, or rooms like apartments kinda, whatever you want, need, or can afford." Luna added. "Though I think the dragon guy will be going to get a room there so if you want to avoid him I would suggest that you request one away from whatever number he gets." She figured they didn't get along well.

Aoi stared at Sol for a moment, trying to shake off his warmth and failing, he reminded him of Akane, just by his warmth, nothing else. Nothing else at all was like her. Still, he wouldn't mind staying close to Sol for his warmth. The immortal was glad Sol didn't mention dreams or anything at all involving sleep. "Thank you. I'll follow you. I don't know the last time I was stay at an inn, so I'll need some help figuring it out." A smile and lie went hand-in-hand, he could remember every moment in his life save the day he became an elemental. All he had to do was think of the memory, and it came to him like pulling a file out of a cabinet. "I appreciate the head's up, Luna." He kept his practiced smile on as he motioned for the twins to lead the way, he'd follow despite his exhaustion.
