I will never understand why people think that Sirius was this whore that slept with half of Hogwarts. I mean, nowhere in the books does it say that he was even remotely interested in anyone and his attention seems to be mostly on his friends.

I mean, if someone is a whore throughout their school days, the chances of them settling down into a loving, working relationship with someone who saw how they munipulated other people. Remus may like being liked, but I don't think he would debase himself enough to believe that Sirius would want to be strictly a one man kind of man suddenly and magically.

It goes without saying that the captain of this guild thinks Sirius was not a whore. Nor does he think that Sirius slept around at all. I don't think Remus did either while in school. Of course, I'm also one of the rare individuals that thinks Sirius was gay.

Feel free to discuss your feelings on the myth or whatever that Sirius slept with anyone at Hogwarts that was willing and/or treated it like some sort of conquest game and then magically decided to go loyal and true for Remus. No offense, it just sounds like bullshit because Remus wouldn't put himself in the position to be hurt. He's been hurt enough as it is, why would he deliberately put himself in the position to have Sirius once, maybe twice, and then be abandoned.

This whole Sirius was a slut/whore/etc. thing sounds like a load of bullshit. If you have an intelligent reason for thinking Sirius was a whore, feel free to post it, I'm always willing to listen.

I totally have to disagree. I think Sirius' character, the way Rowling described him, was to be an extremmy attractive teenager that had plently of female company. Now, that might not be how some take it, but that's how I take it. I think Sirius also wanted to get out of his parents rule, and what's better to piss them off than sleeping with a bunch of girls that probably had no true-blood line at all?

Both him and James were studs; they showed off to everyone and loved the attention from everyone. I don't want to call him a whore, that's probably the wrong word. He's 'popular' and I think he probably slept with a lot of people until settling down with Remus. =)

*twitches*
I think being gay and living in homosexual sin with a werewolf would be enough to send his mother to an early grave. He doesn't need to prove he's special by shagging every female in sight.

True...

I just think that Sirius would have slept around, until finally settling with Remus. We have to agree to disagree, yes? Some people, like yourself, might not agree with me on Sirius being a ladies-man, but I think he was... And was reformed by everyone's favorite werewolf. <3

I can agree to disagree because I don't like picking fights and well, I'm the captain. I can't be picking fights with the members of the guild. That's just...well rude.

On a side note, I think I just wrote myself onto your bad list. =(

No, or else a lot of people would be. I mean, I think Sirius was gay. Not a lot of people agree with me. I happens. I can't expect everyone to agree with me. Of course, doesn't stop me from saying things though.

Okay, well, that's a relief. Would hate to get on the Captains bad-side the first day I join! I'm rather opinionated myself, if you haven't noticed. =X

I noticed.
Well, as Voltaire said, "I may disagree with what you have to say, but I shall defend, to the death, your right to say it."

Go figure.
Okay, this topic is open for discussion. Other people need to talk.
*glowers at guild*
I swear, the only thing that moves is the bloody RP and even then, I've got characters that seem to be on permanent vacations and have just died on me. You people need to post more, I feel like a loser when I know the guild has updated because I remember there being X amount of posts the day before.

Sirius seemed a bit oblivious as to the attention he was given to by other students in Severus's memory. This lead me to the conclusion that perhaps, because of said (unnoticed) attention, he was labeled as a bit of a player (for want of a better word) when really he didn't even notice/care that girls adored him. I think he was considered a 'man whore' all through school, yet remained the only one who was out of the loop.

I do, however, enjoy shipping the whole 'curious' point of view of Sirius, Remus, James, and Peter. The rather common-place assumptions that the four experimented with one another through school, not hardcore things but open sexual actions.. Four teenage boys in a dorm? Three very attractive boys, and one rather adorable (though self-centered and prickish) boy, at that? You know fangirls adore the idea. Having been in similar situations between friends myself, I can easily idenify with it; and, really, it is plausible as far as terms of relationships go.

Though, obviously, hardly canon. XD But in such things keeping in character is a bit.. er, well, strained.

*Clears throat* I do, however, wonder about if Sirius might be the sort to make up all sorts of stories for James' entertainment. They -are- after all boys..

I really must try and remind myself that this guild is mostly filled with yaoi fangirls who just like the idea of boys going at it.

*Coughs* I would really not like to be labled as that. Considering that I don't "get off" on such things. The male body = not attractive to me. ><

To be honest, I'm lesbian. I'm not truly in it for the "hawtness" or whatever nonsense you wish to label it. I write more of what people want at the time, just to get a fix on how skilled a writer I am. I write fanfiction as practice for a more serious writing career.. but if no one wishes to read my stories, what purpose does writing fanfiction serve? No one, and I mean no one, will read any femslash or heterosexual story any more, it seems. I need input as to my writing style. For that, I need readers.

Besides, I like writing things that please other people's interests. And, in terms of human relationships, I find the idea very plausible. *Coughs* Perhaps it is not in character in terms of the books - but it's possible in terms of teenage experimentation an emotional development.

As I said before, however, in terms of his being a 'whore' I believe it is a title he earned because of girls taking fancy from afar, and all others assuming he would eventually pick them all up, taking advantage of the situation to its fullest. Even though it hadn't exsisted in the first place.

I'm not sure if I take offense to that or not, I think I do, but I won't say anything about it... I am a girl. I like other girls. I like boys. I'm not just a crazied yaoi-fan-girl that think it's fun to see two boys shag...
