The crowd was still feeling the excitement of the previous match as a promo video hightlighting the confrontation between Harli and Seita Gray. Once the video had finished, the crowd went silent at the sound of four horses making noises prior to their appearance on the stage. The horses had lined up in a row blocking off the sight of the curtains that lead to the backstage area, however ontop of these horses were four beautiful women dressed in armor like the Valkyries of Norse mythology, their long hair reached just past their shoulders and the crowd gazed upon these four Valkyries with shock and awe at their presence. The began the sound of marching drums beinging played through the arena as the horses stood up on their hind legs with the Valkyries still sitting on their backs and the horses let out a loud cry before dropping back onto all fours. The came the sound of the intro for "Halls of Valhalla" by Judas Priest before the song really kicked into gear.

Fierce is the gale
On the north sea
We drink and rejoice from the chalice
Holding the course
Through long nights and days
The ice and the hail bear no malice
Tow the line
Keep it fine
Every man seeks this end

Valhalla, you are calling
Valhalla, you are calling me home
Valhalla, new day dawning
Valhalla, this is where I belong, I belong

The emerging from the back was the man himself, known to many as The Nightmare and the Demon from Down Under. Harli had entered out through the curtains and stood behind the horses before Valkyries moved the horses to either side of the stage. Harli had a sword attached to his hip and had a microphone in one hand as he took a few steps forward and rose the microphone to his mouth and raised the sword into the air as he song parts of "Halls of Valhalla".

"We crash o'er the waves
Bite deep on the oars
Scouring the spray
On the storm's maul
Then lightning reveals
For what we all pray
By Odin in Asgard
It's land fall
Life from death
Combat rests
Heralds peace for the slain

Valhalla, you are calling
Valhalla, you are calling me home
Valhalla, new day dawning
Valhalla, this is where I belong, I belong".

Harli had managed to keep in sync with the song as he then dropped the microphone onto the ground and placed the sword back at his hip and proceeded to walk quickly down to the ring. Once he had reached the steel steps, he removed the sword and jacket and placed them on the floor near the steps. Harli reached up to the middle rope and used it to pull himself on the ring apron and climbed through the ropes as he walked to the center of the ring and raised both arms out to the side.

Harli then waited in the furtherest corner for his opponent, Seita Gray. Harli knew it within himself that this will be a fight almost to the death as both men prepared for war with one another.

The sun had started to set on the beach, the event had gone off without a hitch thus far, but the stage hands were beginning to turn on the flood lights that would keep the ring lit up as the sun went down and the stars came out. An eerie wind picked up, knocking a few people's sun hats right off their heads, as one of the flood lights shined right on Harli Drummond in the middle of the ring. A single raven flew down from up on high, circling the outside of the ring repeatedly before taking flight to circle the ring proper, above Harli's head, like a vulture.

Run On - Blues Saraceno

Drums and a low strummed guitar started to beat along with the dragging of a chain, and a flock of black winged beasts exploded out from the backroom, cawing and crowing into the air, fluttering off into the clouds and sky to migrate to wherever they came from. When the birds were gone, in there place stood a darkly cloaked man, who simply stood in the sand on the beach. In addition to the flood lights that were being lit to keep the ring lit, little tiki torches were being lit along the entrance ramp toward the ring. His hood hid the majority of his face, with the exception of the hair that draped over his features, but Seita's mouth did not smirk nor sneer. He was dead serious.

[And, introducing his opponent... weighing in at two-hundred and forty-five pounds... from the Grave Flats... Seita Gray!]

Death Himself stood on the beach for a long moment, simply staring down at the ring, still being haunted by the first raven that had appeared in the arena. It had been the only bird to stay in the venue, the others having long departed this world. Gray's skin was appropriately colored for his last name, looking totally unnatural and dead to the touch. The scars that littered his torso where the spotlight shone on him were a combination of things that had earned before his disappearance and new ones that had sprouted up since his return, which only a trained eye could tell. Smoke almost appeared to be seeping out from under his robes; it misted out around him and behind him. Adjusting the hood on his head so that it definitely covered his milky eyes, he started to walk down the ramp towards his opponent for the night. Seita had promised three months ago that not only would Harli wrestle his last match tonight, but he would be defeated and retired by Death. Could The Raven Lord actually accomplish what no one else had been able to? Seita Gray of all people?

Go Tell That Long Tongued Liar
Tell That Midnight Rider
Tell The Gamblers
The Ramblers
The Back-Biter
Tell Them The God Is Gonna Cut Them Down.
Tell Them That God's Gonna Strike Them Down.

His head bowed in reverance, every step he took seemed to be purposeful. If one thing could be said about his drastic change in demeanor since his purported "death", it was that he took himself much more seriously. As he passed by the fans that were closest to him, children shy'd away from him, while adult fans either jeered or cheered him. However, every so often, a few fans would simply bow their heads as Gray passed them, in worship of Death. It was obvious that Gray believed what he said, and some of the people in the crowd were starting to believe too. Now he had to make Harli Drummond believe. His robes, and the smoke that trailed from it, made it look like he wasn't even walking, but simply gliding across the stage and ramp towards the ring. The only color that was visible on him that was not a shade of black, white, or anything in between was the eerie blue rune on his chest that myseriously appeared to glow in tune with a heart beat. Although, if Seita was dead as he led the world to believe the week prior, who's heart was it that was beating? Gray turned towards the steel steps, making ready to walk up into the ring. At the bottom of the stairs, he looked up. He removed the bottom parts of his robes, leaving only his cloaked cape on his shoulders with the large feathers jutting out from the shoulder.

One Of These Days, You Can Mark My Word
You Think A Man Is Away At Work
Creep On Up, Knock On That Door

THAT'S ALL SON, YOU WILL KNOCK NO MORE!

In tune with the powerful drum that beat at this point in his entrance music, Seita walked up the steel steps threateningly until he was on the apron, walking all the way across the ring on the outside until he got to the turnbuckle on the other side. The raven that had been flying around Harli Drummond's ring swooped down and, after making one final pass around the ropes, landed on the steel ring post that The Reaper of Souls now stood by. Seita turned around, holding the top rope in his grasp, and stared right at Harli, removing his hood, letting his hair fall all about his face, and then dropping his cloak down off the ring onto the floor. Gray stepped into the ring and stood in that corner, adjusting his gloves and the black straps that wrapped around his arms above his wrist tape. Inspecting Drummond, he offered the extremely talented and long-tenured veteran a head bow of respect.

When the song finally ended, the raven stretched it's wingspan, and flew over Seita's shoulder, right at Harli, but turned at the last second to fly past him as well, disappearing into the dusk sky. Gray had predicted that this match would take place at sunset, and he had been right. Three months ago he'd predicted the match would take place at dusk, and that Harli would fall. Would he be correct?

Once the bell had rung, Harli become more serious than usual as he was going up against a man who he couldn't predict what he was capable of. Harli began pacing around the ring thinking about how to approach Seita Gray.

Gray followed his own titled head around the ring, walking in a bit of a circle as he paced the ring with Harli Drummond. It was his time to die, and Seita would put him down for good. Gray pulled his gloves up his wrists and then walked into the center of the ring, moving forward to Harli, trying to lock up with him.

Harli had watched Seita the moment he stepped foot into this ring, he saw him take a few steps to the center of the ring raising one hand into the air. Harli knew what Seita was doing as he too walked towards Seita and locked his own hand with Seita and thus starting a test of strenght between the two men.

Gray put all of his might into locking up and testing Harli's strength, trying to either push him backwards or push him over. Seita was cold to the touch.

Harli felt himself starting to get pushed back by Seita, he felt himself edging closer to the nearest turnbuckle. Once his back touched the turnbuckle, he looked to drive a knee straight into Seita's stomach.

Seita felt the knee drive up into his sternum, and it knocked him off balance, but he didn't appear winded by the attack, moving right back in to try and lay a punch on Harli's face!
PostPosted: Sat Feb 21, 2015 7:23 pm

Harli was knocked back by Seita's fist slightly, having not expected the other man to be so impervious to damage. Harli was genuinely excited now. Seita appeared to be unlike any other wrestler he'd ever locked up with, a true challenge for him. But Seita was wrong about one thing when it came to Harli; his career was far from over.

Seita and Harli locked up again, pushing up against each other. This time, they both were unmoved by their opposite's strength, until they both broke up the lock up and stared into each other's eyes. Seita's were milky and dead and grey. He was smaller than Harli, and yet they seemed to be of similar strength.

Harli pushed Seita gently on the chest, as he ran to the ropes and came at Gray, trying to shoulder block him down to the mat. His shoulder connected with Death Himself, but Death was unmoved, not thrown to the mat. The two collided hard, checking each other. Harli shoved Seita again, this time telling him to run the ropes for a shoulder block.

Seita slowly turned his head over his shoulder and then back to Harli, before running to the ropes and coming back to Harli, going for his own shoulder block, but as he came back Harli caught him instead with an arm drag, sending Death hurtling across the mat! Gray continued to roll after the drag, straight out of the ring, sliding to his feet and escaping follow up by the Outback Attack. Harli turned away from Seita, taunting the beach crowd, who cheered him loudly, excited by the impressive play.

Seita slowly slithered back into the ring while Harli had his back turned. If he was bothered or put off or even damaged by the arm drag, he didn't show it to the crowd or his opponent. Harli was currently still wrapped up in his taunt, that he didn't even realize that Seita was back in the ring. Harli was up on the middle rope in one of the corners, hyping up the crowd, when Death came up behind him and shoved him over the top.

As Harli was tumbling out of the ring, his ankle caught up on the top rope, causing it to become cross with the middle rope, hanging the Demon from Down Under upside down by his leg. The action caught him by surprise as he reached out to his leg, trying to get it untangled, lest he tear a muscle of some sort, while shouting out in pain.

"And this is where the tone was set for the evening." Gray said to himself, loud enough for Harli to hear, as he narrarated his actions. "When Harli realized that a regular match was not what was in store. Last man standing could actually be the end of him." Gray said as he climbed up onto the top rope, looking down at Harli, hanging from the rope. Gray cracked his neck and as Harli crunched upward to try and untie himself again, Death leapt off and planted his feet hard on Harli's chest, forcibly dislodging him from the ropes and causing both men to crash down to the floor surrounding the ring, with audible shouts of pain from the crowd.

Harli held at his leg and chest both, tweaking the former, while feeling like Gray had caved in the other with the Guillotine Drop. The match had barely begun and Gray was already risking both of the warriors' bodies. And so indeed the pace was set as Death rose where Harli had fallen. Gray didn't give the referee a chance to begin the ten count, picking Harli up by his feet and walking him over to the announce table, where he bounced Harli's head off it.

Gray grabbed Harli by his arm, and then whipped him backward, launching him into the steel steps. Harli connected with the steps, hurtling over them, bashing his knees on them as he flipped over the other side of the steps in pain, while Gray rose back to his feet and stalked after Harli. Gray leaned down to grab Harli and lift him up again, but this time Harli fought back, driving Gray back first into the barricade behind him. Notably, fans normally would have clapped a wrestler on the shoulder or back in this position, but they were unwilling to do the same for Death. Whether he was off putting in appearance, scary, or they just didn't want him to win. No one wanted to touch Seita.

Seita didn't make faces of pain as he was pushed back, and Harli leaned up, chopping him several times across the chest, trying to get some of his momentum back. Seita responded with a fist to Harli's throat, the vicious tactic creating a moment of vulnerability, where Seita grabbed Harli by the neck and tried to run him into the steel post. Harli stopped them with his leg, reversing the momentum and sending Death Himself face first into the pole instead.

Seita hit the post with his skull and for the first time that evening seemed staggered or jarred by an attack, as he slumped over and dropped to a knee, held up by the post. His long gray hair covered up his face, hiding his features from the camera until Harli grabbed him by his hair and drug him up to his feet, only to send him flying into the steel post again. This time Death Himself hit the post and fell down to the floor, rolling onto his back. Harli was in control.

Harli walked with a bit of a limp as he stalked back over to the steel steps that had been his bane previously, picking up a set of them and tossing them haphazardly over the top rope. "I have a full tank of gas, Death!" He shouted over at the downed Gray, still laying on his back as Harli upturned the apron and grabbed a kendo stick out from under it, as well as a trash can and a table, but leaving it all there on the floor as he walked with the kendo stick over to Seita.

Harli looked to clip Death's wings as he brought down the cane on Seita's chest, a loud whip-crack sounding in the arena and the fans hissing in pain while Seita found himself on the receiving end of the punishment. Gray crawled over to the apron, looking mighty angry as tried to pull himself to his feet, receiving another swat across his back from Harli. Gray arched his back, gritting his teeth, but did not cry out. Harli went for a strike to the head, and Gray moved out of the way.

Harli swung high for Gray again, who stepped backward to avoid the attack. The third strike was another overhead swing, which Gray dodged with a very fluid movement to the side, kicking Harli in the stomach, which caused him to drop the weapon, before kicking Harli in the stomach and throwing him back into the ring, rolling him in. Gray followed him, but Harli was already up, clubbing Seita across the back as he was standing, and reaching to pick him up, planting him with a back suplex in the middle of the ring.

Harli walked over to the steel steps he had brought into the ring and picked them up, leaning them up against the corner of the ring closest to the downed Seita Gray, before walking to the far corner and waiting for Seita to rise to a knee. Harli was excited and it showed in his movement. His leg was feeling good as he bounced back and forth, eager for Gray to get in position.

As Gray slowly rose to one knee, Harli ran out of the corner and stepped up Gray's knee, connecting with a sick shining boot to the face, except with stairs set up, Seita's head was kicked and booted right into the steel steps, ringing out with the loud sound of steel on skull and the loud sound of fans cheering loudly as Death hit the steel and his face slid down the steel, and he lay face down on the mat! Harli backed off, taunting and walking over to the corner he'd come from to rest, as the referee began to count Death out!

1! 2!

Gray, however, was already starting to get to his feet as the referee counted. Harli almost couldn't believe his eyes. He figured Seita would beat the 10 count. It was still early and the punishment was less than it could have been, so he knew a 10 was out of reach but... he honestly hadn't expected Seita to rise that fast. As Gray was getting back up to beat the count, Harli ran at him, trying to connect with another shining boot to the face, when suddenly Gray caught his leg in his arms, and then hurled him back overhead with a capture suplex, the Seitaplex!

Harli flipped over Gray and collided with the steel steps just like Seita had before, sliding down off the steps holding his back, biting back tears from his eyes. He'd landed hard on the corner of the steps, it was a bad landing. Gray didn't let the referee count, again, as he stood back up and immediately grabbed Harli and lay his head across the steel steps. Gray began to brutally lift and slam Harli's head down on the steel steps, trying to knock him senseless, stopping only to roll Harli over so that he could slam Harli's face on the steel steps rather than the back of his head.

When Gray stopped, Harli had been busted open, a light trickle of blood drooling down the bridge of his nose onto the steel steps. Gray swiped his fingers through a little bit of the blood on the steps and rolled out of the ring while Harli started to recover. The Reaper grabbed the table from previous and slid it into the ring, along with his favored weapon; a steel chair.

Gray picked up that table and brought it over to the far side of the ring, leaning it up against the corner, before going back to Harli, who still was draped across the steel steps. Death tossed the referee away from Harli so that he could not start the count. In fact, Gray had not let the referee once count out Harli for the last man standing ruling. Gray rolled his wrist and then dropped a fist on Harli's head.

Gray stood up and dropped a second fist on Harli again, before trying to drop a third, to complete the Coronach, but Harli got his senses about him, moving, leaving Seita to punch his own steel steps! Harli grabbed Seita's arm and pulled him in to a gogoplata, latching Death's throat onto Harli's ankle. Seita began to struggle in the submission hold. But while other people may need air to survive such a dangerous maneuver, it seemed as though the gogoplata choke Harli had used so often on others was not causing Seita to pass out as it should have been.

Seita continued to struggle in the hold, until he slid one of his arms under Harli and using all the strength and leverage he could muster, Harli was lifted up off his back and onto Seita's shoulders, where Seita proceeded to powerbomb Harli back first onto the steel steps! Harli let go of the hold, arching his back in pain. Gray, once again, refused to let the referee count, grabbing the injured Harli by his hair and then lifting him up onto a shoulder. Seita walked the short distance to the corner and hung Harli up in the corner upside down, before stepping out of the ropes and starting to climb. It was clear that Gray was looking for a repeat of his previous Guillotine Drop.

As Gray started to climb, Harli struggled to free himself, not wanting to get stomped onto the steel steps below them, and then at the last second he dropped to the mat safely. Harli scrambled to knock Gray off balance, pushing his legs out from under him so that Gray landed on the top turnbuckle. Harli grabbed onto Gray and pulled him off the top until only his feet were balanced on the ropes, looking below him at the steel steps, and then dropped!

Harli DDT'd Gray off the top rope onto the steel steps, landing his back on the steps again in the name of punishing the Angel of Death that had challenged him to this retirement match. Harli rolled off the steps, holding his back in pain, as Gray remained unmoving on the steel steps, probably knocked out or busted open. Harli used the ropes to right himself as he told the referee to count.

1! 2! 3! 4! 5!

Seita groaned and started to stir, starting to stand under his own power, raising his chest up off the steel steps. He was busted open now, just like Harli, although his blood looked... off. It didn't look red, it looked... darker. Almost blue. Perhaps it was colored? Perhaps some special effects trick, a trick of the business? Or was... Seita Gray actually and factually dead? Harli couldn't believe his eyes when Seita began to stand back up. Harli ran out of his corner and swiftly, definitively punted Gray in the skull, causing the Reaper to fall right back onto the steel steps! Harli caught himself in the ropes again, holding the top one tightly as he shouted at the referee to count again.

1! 2! 3! 4! 5! 6!

At about seven, Gray, once again, to the surprise of the crowd and Harli, started to rise again, pushing himself up from the steel steps and standing on two feet. Harli shook his head, trying to wipe his own blood out of his eyes. Harli had gotten lucky with the use of the steps so far, but as he approached Gray to keep up the offense, he kicked the steps away, sliding them to give himself more room, as he clubbed Seita in the face. Gray stepped to the side, keeping his balance. Harli grabbed Seita's hair and put him in position for a dragon sleeper, causing the Reaper to rotate, countering and turning them inside out, putting HARLI in the dragon position, but only long enough for Seita to lift Harli up and connect with an Unkindness, a reverse suplex.

Harli hit his chest on the mat, starting to rise up as fast as he could, catching his breath, eyes clenched. But he knew he had to continue the fight, or the inhuman Gray would end his career. As Harli got to his feet, but was still hunched over, Gray was already moving like a bird of prey, bouncing off the ropes hard and coming at Harli, lifting a Lazarus Knee straight to Harli's temple, sending Drummond crashing down hard onto the mat onto his stomach! The fans ooo'd at the rough attack straight to Harli's skull, which more than his back or leg had been focused all match by Seita.

But still, The Reaper did not let the referee count out Harli.

Gray dropped to his knees and grabbed the Outback Attack's head by his hair. Gray grabbed him and then flipped him around, slowly lifting the bigger and heavier Harli onto his shoulders in a torture rack, setting up for his finisher, the Karōshi Scythe. Gray, however, wasn't content to connect with this move onto the mat, no. It had to be elsewhere. Like the table that Gray had set up on the other side of the ring. As Gray walked over to the table, setting up to launch Harli through it and finish the match, Harli struggled and flailed on Gray's shoulders.

Fighting to release himself from the Reaper's grasp, Harli dropped down onto mat behind Gray and hooked his arms under Seita's, lifting the Reaper up off his feet and hoisting him high into the air, draped across the Australian's back. Harli walked away from the table, before turning around and facing it instead. Harli paused, looking up at the sky, where he realized that the sun was setting, just as Seita had said it would. Now, Harli still didn't buy into the idea that Gray knew that Harli's career would end this night, but he did appreciate the significance of the imagery. With the sun going down, Harli ran forward and then launched Seita off his back, throwing Seita Gray through the table with the Cliffhanger!!

"Holy s**t! Holy s**t! Holy s**t!" The fans shouted as the table exploded into pieces, leaving The Reaper of Souls at the bottom of the pile, and Harli collapsed to the mat, scrambling over to the ropes to pull himself up to his feet after the move, while the referee rushed to count Gray down!

1! 2! 3! 4! 5! 6!

Harli looked over his shoulder at the downed Gray.

7!

He looked away, smirking and smiling, blood rolling down his face and lifted up his arm.

8!

Harli basked in the moment, knowing the match was finally over and he'd beaten Seita... so he didn't see Gray slowly crawling out of the wreckage, over to the corner, where he put his dead hands on the steel chair he had brought into the ring.

9!

Harli closed his eyes and smiled. But the tenth count never came.

Harli turned around and saw Seita Gray running at him with the steel chair, and then suddenly felt the crack of steel on his forehead! Harli took the hit clean, not being able to protect himself from such a sudden attack, falling back and wrapping his arms up in the ropes. The top rope and middle rope folded up on Harli's arms, leaving him defenseless and crucified at the Reaper of Souls' mercy.

Seita slowly stalked away from Harli, looking like a natural and dangerous predator with that steel chair in his hand, looking over at Harli. Blood was draining down his opponent's face, and his own for that matter. Seita flipped his hair back out of his eyes and then ran at Harli, aiming to smash the steel chair over his head again, this time with no hope of defense for Harli Drummond.

Harli, however, had other plans. He slipped his arms out of the ropes and ducked under the swing, causing Seita to hit only the top rope with the steel chair. Seita was lucky that it didn't fly back in his face and hit him, as he turned around to find Harli, only Harli was already flying in motion as he suddenly jumped up and connected with a Cold Snap, kicking Seita's chair up into Seita's face!

It was Harli, this time, who didn't give the referee a chance to count SEITA down, as he grabbed the chair that Seita had been weilding and set it up in the center of the ring, intending to use it for some dramatic finish! Harli tugged the Angel of Death up to his feet and then pulled him up onto his own shoulders, setting up for the Drummond Clash, onto the chair!

As Harli turned Seita, The Reaper flipped out of the attack and landed behind Harli and all of a sudden wrapped his arms around Harli's neck and chest, suddenly pulling the Demon from Down Under down onto his back while Seita sprawled out on his stomach on the mat. Seita Gray's dangerous submission move, Acceptance, was cutting off Harli's air supply and fast! The fans rose up to their feet, suddenly screaming and shouting for Harli, begging him to escape. Harli was thrashing, trying to pry Seita's arms off his neck, to get some air and escape! His career was on the line! He had to fight back.

As the air started to leave his lungs, and it was cut off from his brain, he started to feel very light headed. He wanted to desperately continue on and fight back, but the fans could see him losing it. Will and consciousness. So. This was it. Harli thought to himself as he was losing his senses, his arms and legs feeling to heavy to continue to lift and pry at Gray's arms. His fingers got tangled in his opponent's hair. His only hope was that he would get enough air when Gray let go that he could beat the ten count by the ref. The fight wasn't over... The fight...

Gray held onto the submission hold until Harli was out like a light, watching Drummond's arm fall down to the mat limp. Gray kept it held in while the referee tried to tell him to stop, lest he kill the man, but for a man called Death, it appeared to not be important. Finally, Gray let go of the hold, gently setting Harli's head down on the mat, and walking toward the chair that he had lost. The referee started to count, when suddenly Seita Gray turned around and threatened him, causing the referee to fall down on his a** and scramble away from Gray, lest he was attacked by the wrestler.

Seita, with his chair, stalked over to Harli with destiny in his eyes. The sun had gone down, and the moon was crawling high into the sky. Seita reached down and grabbed Harli by the hair, and slowly slipped the chair around Harli's neck, with the chairs legs facing outward. Seita held Harli Drummond dominantly, wrapping his skull up in his arms and twisting it backward across his shoulder. Harli started to come to, his eyes opening as he realized there was a chair wrapped around his head. There hadn't even been a ten count, he realized, or if he had managed to fight his way to his feet, he hadn't remembered doing it.

Just as Harli awakened, Seita thrust his leg out and then drove Harli down with a Hero Stone, with Harli's head trapped in the chair!! The legs of the chair connected with the mat, smashing Harli's head down on the chair and creating a ghastly sound as the attack connected. Seita Gray rested on his knees, while Harli's head hung on the seat of the steel chair as though his head was actually stuck in a guillotine. Seita slowly stood up and, grabbing Harli by his leg, drug him out from the chair and letting him lay on the mat.

Seita grabbed the chair and folded it up. Looking down at Harli, he drug his finger across the surface of the chair, writing 'Harli Drummond' on the steel chair, just as he had a week prior, and stalked over to Harli's head. He drove the chair down hard on the ring mat, thrusting the legs downward, puncturing the ring mat with them, leaving the steel chair standing at Harli's head where he lay. Like a headstone.

Seita turned away from the scene of the crime, walking to the ring ropes, looking at the referee. "It's over." He said, as he stepped between the ropes, and slowly walked down the steps... allowing the referee to count.

1! 2! 3! 4! 5! 6! 7!

Some fans held their hands to their mouths, looking at the eerie image of Harli Drummond laying on his back, arms and legs spread out, with the steel chair headstone in the ring with his name on it. It was an odd mix of quiet, people not believing what they were seeing, and loud as pockets of fans cheered and shouted for Harli to stand up and continue the fight. Or cheers for Seita for having managed to put Harli down the way he had and in such spectacular fashion.

8! 9!

10!

The bell rang, and so ended Harli Drummond's long storied career. Dead.

[Here is your winner... Death, Himself. Seita... GRAY!]

You May Run. For A Long Time.
Run On
For A Long Time.
Run On
For A Long Time.
Let Me Tell You The God Is Gonna Cut You Down.
Let Me Tell You The God Is Gonna Cut You Down.

Seita Gray had not stopped once he had left the ring. He had known it was going to end. He had seen it months ago. He had predicted the end, the death of Harli's career, and just as he had decreed, now it was finally over. Harli Drummond. Was retired. Seita continued to walk up the ramp, as a single raven flew over to him and landed on his shoulder. It shifted it's beak into Gray's hair, nudging it, as Seita turned his head over his other shoulder to look at the downed Harli in the ring. The raven cawed and left Gray's shoulder, flying over to the headstone that Harli was still laying in front of in the ring, landing on it, perching and spreading it's wings before taking a final flight and disappearing.

Seita continued to stand there as his music faded away, and the fans came to terms with the situation. The legendary career of Harli Drummond was over.

Harli slowly stirred, finally moved to awaken, after the referee had checked on him to make sure he was okay. Drummond waved off medical help, rolling over onto his stomach and groaning, his hand going to the back of his head to try and soothe some of the pain. Harli tried to stand up, getting up on all fours, lifting his head and realized that, staring him down, right in front of him, was a steel chair headstone with his own name on it.

And he laughed and shook his head. So that was it.

Harli slowly, and briskly, stood up, holding his head and his back. Not really sure which part of his body was hurting the most. Likely his all of him, if he had to guess. And as he stood, so did the BBW fans who immediately proceeded to give the Demon from Down Under the standing ovation that he deserved for the book end on his amazing and legendary career. All of his accomplishments had led to this final match, and the fans were more than grateful.

"Thank you, Harli!"
"Thank you, Harli!"
"Thank you, Harli!"

The fans chanted and cheered for Drummond, who shook his head and clapped, not for himself, but for all the fans on the beach that night who had witnessed his final match. He bit back on the emotional tears of retirement. He bowed gently to the fans, who in turn bowed to Harli, and Harli turned to leave the ring, but stopped dead in his tracks when he realized that Seita was still waiting there at the bottom of the ramp for him. Harli swallowed thickly. He honestly wasn't sure how he should feel about the man who had ended his career, but he started to finally understand what Seita had said in those promos the weeks before this match.

It was time for him to accept his career was at and end, and walk side by side with Death to the end of it.

Harli walked towards the ropes, but again, stopped, as Seita turned around and walked back towards the ring. The Reaper stalked up the steps and onto the ring apron. Seita and Harli stared at each other for a long moment, while the fans chanted 'This is Awesome' before Seita dropped a little low and sat on the middle rope. He put his hand on the top rope and lifted it for Harli as a sign of respect.

Harli chuckled and graciously accepted Seita's offer, slowly stepping out of the ring, caring for his back that had been rather abused by the steel steps during the match. Seita and Harli both stepped off the edge of the apron of the ring, and slowly but surely, they made their way up the ramp. Harli made some private comments to Seita, who didn't appear to reply. Seita and Harli walked side by side up the ramp, ending Harli's career.
