Please tell us here the suggestions on activities we might run for you guys to make this guild more fun and more active.
We'd love to hear any and everything you have to say. No idea is a bad idea and everything will be taken into account.

Well I did a avatar contest a while ago that was sort of theme based. We could do a writing contest? Based on content rather than actual grammar. Perhaps another avatar contest?

I meant to make a suggestion earlier, but it slipped my mind. Sorry.
I like the idea of avatar and writing contests. I also think that the idea of a raffle could be fun. Games of chance give everyone a fair shot of getting a prize. An anonymous gift-giving event would be good, too, especially during the holidays.

Dramatical Murder could be a fun theme ^_^! It has colorful characters. And the show is just sprouting so, we could get people interested if they don't know it. Unless they've already played the game. [Since we're this is a Yaoi guild, I thought that theme would be appropriate sweatdrop .....That and I really like Dramatical Murder, so.. i wanted to make a band wagon ninja ]

But for gifts we should set a limit on gold and only those who want to participate. That way everyone who gives can get and not feel left out. I love the theme! Lol and of course I love the game and anime too. Different Yaoi themes might be fun.

I agree. The way I've seen it done is that one person is in charge of giving out the gifts. People sign up and agree to give a gift (or gifts) worth a set minimum value. The head of the thread then sends out the names via PM, then the participants send that person the unwrapped items to make sure that the minimum value is met. Then the head person wraps the gifts and distributes them.

Um, I don't want to sound like a jerk or anything, but I think the roleplaying stuff in this guild could be kicked up a little. : (
The tagging system for whether threads are open or closed are really confusing (like, M means opens and N means closed? Why can't O mean open and C mean closed?) There's almost no group roleplays at all, though there is a post apologizing for group roleplay being sparse? Except, that I don't really understand what she was talking about or what she meant to do about it.
And, I think the inability to chat in the looking for forum has made it almost useless. There might be people who posted a looking for thread forever ago and are still looking, but there's no way to know except for the weird tagging system which may or may not be up to date. Active threads are no longer bumped to the top, because you can't bump or talk in your thread. Also, the form you have to fill out has really wonky formatting and severely limits what you might have wanted to say you were looking for.
I apologize if I seem like I'm ranting, but I was all excited when I joined. However, when I sat down to look through the guild I found myself disappointed. : (

This is the stuff we need to know. If you think it needs a boost maybe we can do it. I am a bit lost on the tagging system as well. I'll get with the crew and see what we can do. It's just, they're small things that are in the rules for the roleplay threads that I can see hobbling the whole system. And, I can understand getting people involved in group roleplays is hard, especially in guilds, because they rely on having a lot of really active users all the time. But, it was just disappointing that there were no active group roleplays at all. : (

If a group rp was to be started, it would need to be something that would make people feel involved. Group roleplays can be difficult since sometimes one person might be focusing more another another when there are in fact two people talking to them. But it is something that can be doable. Maybe make a vote on what kind of theme people would like to do a group roleplay over?
I'm aware this is a very distant response to an old question but I am CRAVING roleplay really badly. ^-^'
