Quick led Pluto up to his personal floor, knowing the smaller bot liked his large circular bed to nap on. He set him on the edge before walking over to a shelving unit to pull down his personal repair kit. For those times when he knows its a little repair. He walked back over with a stern look, "We're fixing you up now. I know a thing or two about legs you know."
He smirked before setting the kit down and looking up at Pluto, "I'm not going to ask what happened. I have a horrible feeling I know." he let his eyes fall, he didn't like the idea that Pluto's own commander would actually harm the other. But, his few moments of seeing the tall...green haired bot didn't leave him with a good feeling in his stomach. He pushed the thoughts away before reaching out, "Let me see."

Pluto, who was indeed exhausted, simply smiled. "Thanks, and would you hate me if I said none of your business anyway?" After all. it was noones business but his and Terra's alone. He was tempted,very tempted to lay down, but there was the matter of what Quick would do. "Should I lay down? So you can have your wicked ways?" He asked, trying to be funny, to make the other not look so upset,

Quick didn't let the flinch at the words show, the only indication was a flick of his ears before he inhaled slowly. The male slowly looked over the leg without a word then reached to turn tools over and fiddle with until he pulled out a few things. He then flicked steel blue eyes up, "Lay back." Aha. Yeah, Pluto....he's pissed, but he's not going to take it out on you.

Pluto frowned, but laid back. s**t, did that make Quick mad after all? He wished he hadn't laid down, so he could see the others face. "Quick I....I get your mad, I'm sorry." His tail came up, reaching around until he found the top of Quicks arm, an began petting it comfortingly. "These fights happen, and I bet you are mad at me, for getting hurt, i'd be too." And he was, but he wouldn't say that. "But thank you, for helping me, and not sending me off to Wily. " It was here he pat the others head, glad that he was in regular clothing, he liked the others hair. "Your a good best friend."

Quick fell silent, upset at himself for getting upset about something he couldn't control. He twitched his nose and blinked at the tail pet. Oh count on Pluto to attempt to cheer him up. The male smiled as he nuzzled the tail, biting it playfully before letting go to finish with reattaching the circuits. When he was done the male's tail waved. "Aha. There we are. How does that feel?" he looked up.

Pluto moved his leg experimentally, and smiled. "Better." He sat up, about to wrap both of his arms around Quick, when he was reminded again of his lack of arm. And this, for some reason, made him begin to feel a leaking sensation. s**t, he was crying wasn't he? "W-why? It's just an arm......". He turned away, trying to wipe his eyes. "I-it's not like he won't give it back, that I c-can't just put it back on." And he just couldn't stop crying, dammit. "Sorry Quick, s'been a day." And he wasn't even sure if that actually came out as words and not just more crying.

Quick felt his core get smaller at the sight of tears in Pluto's eyes. The blonde haired male pushed himself up before pulling Pluto into his chest. The male then laid down on the massive amount of pillows---no the pillows were not there because Pluto napped occasionally when Quick was plotting pranks. The male settled into the pile making soothing noises...and NO damn it. He was -not- purring..... Okay maybe a little.

Pluto felt himself gathered into the arms of his friend, and then laid down in Quicks vast pillow collection, Quick there to comfort him the whole time. He cried,calming down after some time, he wasn't sure how long, and drained of energy, merely looked at his arm, or well,, the attached half, and he sighed. "I need a cover to protect the wires huh?" He locked eyes with Quick, nuzzling him. "You are a good friend, really. Thanks Quick. I think I would have been booted out of another persons room." He didn't have to say who, they knew. He curled up, making himself, despite his height, seem smaller so he could make himself more comfortable on his friend and the bed. Of course that didnt last long, and he ended up stretching back out.

Quick chuckled at the smaller male, letting him move when he wanted to. He looked the arm over before sitting up to fumble around a bin next to the bed. He pulled out something and turned to Pluto, "This might work...its suppose to be a knee cap...but think it'll work to cover for now?"Quick was happy that Pluto wasn't crying anymore, his core did something weird when the other male did that...odd Maybe he should talk to Wily about that...

Pluto took the cap, examining it, then slipped it on. "Yeah, it'll work fine." And good thing too, his energy seemed to be drained. "I'm gonna crash for a bit,kay Quick?" and, like a cat who thought it owned the place, Pluto promptly fell shut down for the remainder of the day.

Quick sat there watching Pluto for a while, the orange bot thinking over things. Pluto was the closest bot to him of all of them. Odd. But comforting at the same time. He thought of Terra, the green maned b*****d. Quick sighed, he couldn't do anything to Terra. The guy was damn strong and even General Blues had issues with him. Quick brought his knees under his chin as he thought more...Pluto was.... Irreplaceable. There was a reason Quick never took him to Wily and instead used his own knowledge of the many times he self repaired his legs or other parts he could reach (all his pride really) to repair the odd alien bot. Quick sat and thought for a little more then sighed. He crawled next to Pluto and laid in the pillows cradling the other male.

Too bad Quick didn't look towards the doorway, he would have seen it open, just a smudge, and a blue eye looking in. but the person noticed Pluto twitch. Good, even offline he knew this was unacceptable.
At some point, Pluto registered being online, for just a second, as if his system was responding to a foreboding feeling,then resumed the feeling of being dead to all around him, at least until he woke again, registering it was...dawn? Huh, he never slept through night patrol.
...oh right, that hadn't been a thing he did and days, and he doubted he would be for awhile,until he got his arm and a proper, the Doctor actually looked at him, exam. He curled, wanting to enjoy laying down for a bit longer, patting his Quick pillow. Yes, poor Quick was reduced to pillow status for now.

Quick's ear twitched once, but he didn't wake. He was warm...there was something warm on his chest. The orange bot nuzzled the purple bot before feeling the pat. He smiled before opening a eye to look at Pluto. He shrugged so he was pillow...that was fine.

Pluto finally opened his eyes, then did one of his favorite things to annoy Quick. (because he didn't get to do his normal 'piss off Quick during my patrol' routine) So he poked him. First with his fingers, then resorting to his tail. "I know your up speedy~~" He mock-cooed.

Quick didn't smile until he felt the tail then he laughed as he squirmed away, "What?!?" He smiled at the feline bot, "What's up?"
