Mollec flailed at the shot, it burned his system and downed his anger, but not by much. Lane started guiding him through the den, but when he bumped into the corner of a building he blasted it with his hand, blowing a chunk off the cement wall. His knuckles were cut, but they healed back up, and as he felt lane guiding him, he grabbed his face, holding his hands against his bony face. It was a miracle when they got to the den hospital, but most the doctors backed up at the enraged monster. He pressed his hand against the wall, and dragged his enlarged nails against it, making a terrible noise. The doctors strapped him to a bed, and as they called up scientists from the district, he started bending the metal pipes on the bed where he was strapped up. He rocked the bed hard until it was almost falling, he broke the strap, and was stabbed with a large syringe, injecting him with a powerful knock out serum, it was a half an hour of deranged screams before the serum was too much on his body and he just laid there, no eyelids to blink. His chest pumped up and down, and his screams deluded to a simple partial yell. He looked up to lane, and opened his mouth to make a noise, but nothing came out. He tried a second time, but nothing came out yet again. He tried pulling up from the bed, but it was effortless. The dosage they injected him with was enough to put down a fleet of soldiers. The scientists had arrived, and were fascinated. They talked about experiments, but virused Mollec managed to release a deep scream at them as he laid there.AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!He screamed, and started moving about as they continued talking about doing inhumane things and killing him- taking samples, tests, and dissections- whilst he was unable to resist. One brought a scalpel to him, but he used what energy he had left to grab his close arm and tugged him down, watching his face hit the pipe.

At every scream Mollec released she cringed over and over. To know he was suffering so tore her apart and she wasn't even in the same room. The doctors escorted her off to the side and she tried to stay calm. But after hearing he eventually could become a guinea pig, she wasn't too calm. All she could do now was wait and hope. But Lane was too restless to be calm. Not sure of what else to do she just sent a message to Tobias. She couldn't have a conversation with Z and she doubted the doctors and nurses really cared. She sent, "Hey Toby...I guess in a way you were right. The virus is doing strange things to him...I understand if you don't want to visit the hospital. I don't really know what to think or do anymore. In fact I doubt I should be telling you of Z's condition, but I need someone to talk to. Besides you'd know right off the bat something was off with me. Why postpone the inevitable? You'd find out eventually. I truly hope you aren't upset with me, but I'd understand if you are." The screams didn't cease and Lane grew angry. She simply bared into the room and heard them speak of doing horror to her father. How dare they even think it? Lane's eyes became clouded by pure rage and her voice was dead even, "If he dies on your watch I assure you all I will kill you. Your job is to help people yet you treat them no better than a lab rat. You all disgust me. Perhaps you need better motivation..." Lane trailed off as she pointed her loaded gun at one of the doctors.

Charlotte came into the room and was surprised to see Lane pointing a loaded weapon at the doctors, Lane! Lower the gun now! I'm sorry to intrude but I had to tell you about Tobias...But I realize that this isn't the perfect time. It's probably just going to make things worst actually... Charlotte approached Lane and stood in between her and the doctor she was pointing the weapon towards. She avoided looking at Lane's anger-fill glance, Calm down, you know that Toby and I don't like it when you get angry or upset. You're angry, I get it, but you shouldn't be threatening people who are trying to help. These doctors are trying to help your father, don't harm them because they can't soothe the pain. Charlotte sighed and turned around to face the doctor, she bowed and opened her mouth the apologize, "I'm sorry for her behavior. She's gone through a lot and she can't deal losing anymore loved ones. I'll lead her out of her." Charlotte grabbed Lane's wrist, pulling the weapon out of her hand and dragging her out into the hallway. "He'll be fine, don't worry. I know Tobias wouldn't let him die. If he were here..."

"Get off! Let me at them! You didn't even hear what they said!" Lane thought looking at the floor so she wouldn't glare at her best friend. She wanted to scare the doctors, not Charlotte. "How did you even find me? I thought you were on some mission anyway. Fine? Fine. Everyone one keeps saying that but it keeps becoming further and further from the truth...Speaking of your brother where is he? He isn't trying to conquer the hell simulation is he? But enough about that how are you Charlotte?" Lane asked her her voice wasn't cheery but she really did care for her friend. She just was very upset at the moment.

Mollec laid there in bed until lane came in. They simply shrugged when she pulled out a gun, because one of the scientists drew a pistol as well, and pointed it at her. In another fit of rage and adrenaline he broke his left strap and blasted him in the pelvis, snapping it in two and watched him crumple over.Don't you point a ******** gun at her you pig!!He yelled, realizing his voice came back. A female scientist- a long time friend of mollec- pulled a syringe out if his side. She injected him with a heavy dose of some experimental drug. She looked at lane, smiling and waving to her as she left the room, stopping outside the door before cocking her head back to lane. She said "He is an idiot, take care of him for me. Bring him down to my office in the science district when this happens again" and left. Mollec's chest still pumped up and down, but his anger faded. His broken stubs of horns retreated back into his head, and his hair came back to length, and his facial features followed. His teeth retreated a bit, but they stayed the same shape, only a bit shorter. He looked to lane, his breathing spreading unevenly as he opened his mouth, reaching a hand out to her as his nails retreated and went back to normal..Woah... What happened.... Why am I in a hospital? Why am I black instead of white... What the ******** is going on lane...
Charlotte was glad that Lane slightly loosened up, she was still upset but at least not trying to kill anyone. She hugged her friend and smiled, happy to see her again. "I was visiting home and Toby's phone got your message, so I borrowed his hoverbike and drove here quickly." She giggled and held up the key to Tobias' hoverbike, she stopped giggling and her tone and expression became serious. Charlotte was never serious, she always smiled and was cheerful no matter the situation but when something was troubling her she became serious. "I'm doing well but Toby isn't...He went and got himself drunk. Right now he's passed out on the couch but he drank a lot of alcohol...When I came home, he was having a fit and creating a mess. It took me a while to actually get him to stop. He's really upset. I don't want to leave him alone but I had to come here when I got your message. Hopefully, Toby won't leave the house. I took away his hoverbike but he can still walk...Maybe he won't even be able to stand up straight..." Charlotte looked worried, she never really saw Tobias as one who would drink but she was wrong.

In the years Lane had know Toby she never pegged him for a huge drinker. But if there was something he truly wanted to forget, he would potentially drink himself to sleep. That she was sure of. Self-disgust rose from within her. Lane could only hope he did not hate her. Well that and when he woke up he wouldn't be too hungover or in the mood to walk. She made a mental note to visit him, but first thing was first she had to make sure her father was going to be alright.
The female scientist exited and allowed the two back in the room. Lane stood stone still and didn't say a single word. After all she quickly was discovering taking care of Mollec was simply doing the impossible. So far it seemed to be the other way around. As she approached him she simply shook her head. What else could she do? She didn't know what had happened or how to fix it. How could she explain something she truly did not understand? Lane then approached his hospital bed and hugged him. All she could do was turn to Charlotte and say, "Z I'd like you to meet my best friend Charlotte."

Toby is still passed out so he'll be fine, but he could wake up and drink some more. Hopefully he won't be drunk when he head back home. Charlotte placed her hand on Lane's shoulder briefly before the two of them entered the room once again. The girl sat at the corner to avoid the bonding between a father and daughter, she only smiled at the two of them. When Lane introduced her, she got up and stood besides Lane. She waved and smiled, "Hello Mister, it's nice to meet you. Lane is my best friend, she's the nicest person in the world!" She was slightly exaggerating but she meant every word about her friend, Charlotte was glad to have a friend like Lane. Charlotte didn't say anything else, she remained quiet besides Lane. He seems to be like Toby don't you think? She mentally asked Lane; from the memories she witnessed from Toby and Lane, Lane's father really was like Toby. She knew that Toby didn't like that fact and it bothered him when he's reminded that the two are alike.
Mollec stayed there, his body feeling numb now as lane brought her friend in. She was cute, really cute. And something about the black hair clicked to him, but he wasn't sure. "Sorry Z I can't. But would you like me to get you anything I know how easily you get bored." Lane said but she also wanted to ensure he wouldn't try to free himself on his own. Perhaps she should have mentioned Charlotte was Tobias' sister, but that was another story. "I guess they share some traits. They both are stubborn and Heaven's Lost Property fans...Don't ask. Yet they don't see eye to eye at all."
