The Guardian's record show that:
Thaddeus was conceived, grew and was born in the conventional way. Without the taint of surgical alteration, unlike many of those around him. Thaddeus comes from the Groundling family 'Bile'. A family that has been well known for its 'aggression' in any conflict they have had the honour of participating in. And Thaddeus is no different. He can be a very volatile person and is rather fond of violence. The 'Bile' family in a strange sense of irony are also skilled at diplomacy. Thaddeus if far from reckless, he thinks his actions through, most of the time, he thinks about the consequences of his actions, reprisal is not absent within his mind. This has caused 'problems' in the past, but nothing more official than a warning. Some consider Thaddeus a wild card, while others, more adept in understanding the human mind see his potential, he can act like a regular soldier, act like a regular grunt... but, the violence and horror of battle seem not to faze him, his rage and ruthlessness in combat seem to resemble a rabid beast. What seems like recklessness when taking on a stronger opposing force only to be clear victor, is intelligence.

Thaddeus was born on the surface, he was quickly brought to the Den during the transportation of the majority of his family. However, Thaddeus had return to the surface many times during his life time, he personally prefers the feel of soil between his toes and the 'freshness' of the air below. Rather than the temple like structure of the Den, not to say he does not like the den, just that he favors one to the other. Thaddeus during training to become a guardian suffered no major penalties or trouble with his progression in skill. But he did develop a taste for close combat, he disliked training with long range rifles, yes it was fun, but it was a cowards way to do battle. No true warrior would attack an opponent without first making their presence known. Those who do are measly assassins, they have value in their only two attributes. Even the best assassins are effective and expendable in equal measure. Thaddeus, like most 'Bile' family members wanted something more honorable, something of greater worth. Thaddeus wanted to be a force of great reckoning. Thaddeus' choice was clear, he was to become a Warrior. He would walk to the gates of his enemies and break it down. Before cutting them down, all of them, personally.
