Hello everyone!heart What do you guys think about making a walk- in Rp, that don't have a literacy level requirements?to some Rp interacting practice... that could help to warm up the place right now... Let rain some plot ideas here~ mine's about a tavern in a far ,dusty,desolated planet,that offers to space travelers a place for resting,charging up or staying in some of the dorms in the inn- like building? the planet and /or the place owner can have a weird/funny/ sad backstory...(sci-fi themed)?

This is actually something that would be really fun and really cool to do. The only issue is finding someone with the skill and dedication to get it started and keep it running.
That said, I like your plot idea.

Really?thanks! and that is, ...someone have to take the idea and make it real,confused and we can have an recruiting event that could be about making a super plot rp in here and advertising it on barton and sigs...to lure people inbiggrin

I really dig the intergalactic twist you put into the regular tavern-style RP. biggrin Yes, that's what mean. Unfortunately it's against the rules to advertise for guild RPs in Barton OOC... But we can certainly do it in our Guild Ad when we have everything set up!

I like the idea c: and I love the setting ! It gives people a lot of freedoms as far as possible characters to play as ( of course , I'll stick with my go-to Belle , sci-fi version ! lol ) I'd be happy to work at this inn/tavern/space waystation ! Well , Belle would be happy to work there C:
Also let me know if you'd like a simple but snazzy graphic to draw attention C; ( and just so I'm not getting my wires crossed , by 'walk' you mean like just a way-stop , drop-in style roleplay - no full blown profiles just an easy basic layout with some key tidbits of character info )
Personally I agree with this and will put myself into the RP. Why not? It allows all levels of literacy to interact with each other, and allows the less experienced to get real time practice with the more experienced. smile

A-yup, we have a guild ad. Its first few posts need some updating though.... I'll get to that at some point. >.>

Thanks for the supporting! hmm about the profiles it can be build in a simple way, with a clear description of the character(name,age,race,a short bio,abilities, talents...)but not so complicated details of it, and ofc adjusting in a sci fi matters..it can help to new people to get used to interactions than taking loong time building a character ,and then we can get going and after it we can make an 2 part/or alternate rp with the same theme but with more dedication..

Okay I have something beating around in my head. I'm busy with real life and a variety of other SDRP things but I think I can head it for a while until we find someone to take over, etc. This RP gives everyone a chance to RP which is why I really like it and want to have it work out.
The tavern/hotel/building is in the shape of a cruise ship (like, a space ship shaped like a cruise ship that sails on water) and is called the "Beached Whale" because the way it is built makes it look like it's crashed into the planet/rock/asteroid and because it is HUGE (think the Titanic, or just a huge cruise ship). It's not sure whether the inn is really a "sunk"/"beached" intergalactic cruise ship or if it's the work of a fanatic architect, but either way it has been serving intergalactic travellers since its inception.
The RP will be a walk-in with a guest book that people can dump profiles in if they want to (I'll see about alternatives by talking to some friends of mine who do have experience running walk-ins and finding out what they do). There will probably be a request somewhere for people to add a link to their profiles in their post formats if they are available so others can know more about them quickly.
There will be places for more permanent roles too such as chefs, security, bartenders, event personnel, entertainers, plumbers... janitors... etc.
Annd that's all I have so far. Feed me more ideas for this, they're nummy.emotion_omnomnom
