This wonderful and historic building boast three stories of towering shelves upon shelves of books! Anything and everything you have searched for can be found here, from all knowledge of man, beast, immortal, to anyone and anything else. There are computers set up around each floor to aid in finding books, and some for personal use.

But remember, it is a library. No food or drink, clothes must be worn at all times, and the librarian likes it quiet.

1st Floor: Leisure: Typical Fiction and Non-Fiction Books and Movies, CD's, Children's section, Computer Lab.
2nd Floor: Research oriented Books, Movies, and Audio Books, Newspaper Log and Viewers, Family Histories/Trees.
3rd Floor: How To, Magical, Religious, Other-wordly, and Mythological Books and Videos.

Kuro the Dark Twin Heiress, Aura the Forest Elf, Sol the Golden Twin,
Luna the Silver Twin, Malum the Dark Elf, Topaz/Crim the gender shifting Dragoness, Okami the Town Guardian.

Kuro Wilde settled down in a comfortable chair on the second floor. Her eyes and ears in the town got rid of the need to actually handle business so now she was looking up a little bit more information on her father and mother who ultimately made a mess of things for her. He father must have cheated on their mother at some point in order for Okami to exist. Not that they had one of those exclusive marriages. She was fairly sure things were sorta open with her parents since they were immortal, but she knew for a fact that Okami wouldn't exist unless her father had wanted her too.

She had the table covering in books, she knew which ones to pick out well enough. She combed through her heritage, she was technical related to a lot of people but none of them close. Until she found her mother and father.

This particular family tree book updated itself with every birth or death in the family, and had many different books containing a certain number of generations. The first two or three books were missing so even Kuro couldn't trace herself back to the beginning of time.

She headed to the second floor, aiming to look for the documentations of her father's will. As Okami got to the floor she stopped, her black hair turning back blue to distinguish herself as different from Kuro. "Oh, hello I see we had similar thoughts." She felt the tiny hairs on her neck stand on end. She didn't like that. If she could tell Kuro was bad, and she was thinking like her, was she relapsing or was she using her experience?

"Oh, so we were. I was going to find you later anyway. I am the twin usually in charge of business. Occasionally such matters make my sister a bit glum so I let her be social instead." She felt herself tense but she kept her facial muscles relaxed and friendly. Though she could tell that Okami was peeved by the talk of her twin. She looked back at the book and found her parents, the line connecting them was still solid, and neither seemed to have died yet. That was nice. The only names under them were Kuro and Shiro. Next to her father however, was another line, with Okami's name written below it. It made her both angry and a bit amused.

"Well? I am sure by that look on your face you found something." She said firmly.

She chuckled and looked over at her. "Well, you are very much so a sister, but also very much so not entitled to this town as far as I can see. It was founded my my parentS but only one of them spawned you. But perhaps we can find the details as to how the inheritance worked out hm?" The dark-hair girl stood up and headed confidently down one of the isle of books. She quickly pulled three off the shelf, it had to be in one of them. One was about the town, one about the parents, and one about laws and such.

"So this town DOES have laws huh?" Okami sounded curious but the book was placed on the bottom and the one about the town was handed to her.

She began to comb through it until she found where the town and the twins coincided. She read to herself, then out loud. "It says this about the town. 'It was named after the twins who were born to the founders, Kuro and Shiro. Black and White. They were named because it was obvious at birth that they were perfect representations of Yin and Yang, good and evil.' "Her eyes rested on Kuro, who waved her off.

"Of course, people can change, we were babies. Besides if anyone knows that you do, Okami." She looked over and met her eye. "This book makes a brief mention of it. but it is not much. Just that the town was eqally owned by Mother and Father so it stands that one of us has a slightly greater hold on the town than the others." She stood sharply again.

"I guess that means you are a co-owner of the town but I garuntee you don't own more than a fourth, the rest will belong to Shiro and me." Her voice grew quiet, "My sister is very loyal to me, so basically, I own this town Okami. So I make the rules, I make the laws."

"Perhaps you are right about who owns what, but if I was the one given a whole half, we are on equal terms, by your standards. But I recon Shiro would disagree with that." She crossed her arms, the librarian had left when they started talking.

"I am as much a part of this town as the fountain in the square. Unlike you I have been here, helped, guarded, watched over. The citizens here know me, you two are strangers in your own town. Only the land knows you...but remember that it knows me too."

Kuro Wilde took a slow breath and dismissed Okami with a flick of her hand. "Until we find out what percentage you own you must consult with my sister and I before making any moves that regard the town from now on. It is only fair."

She turned and walked out, leaving the books on the table.

{Enter Ollor}

Ollor found himself a open window to squeeze his wind through, though it did leave quite a bit of condensation from how moist his wind was. The whole library soon smelled sharply of sea brine. He quickly found Okami on the second floor and made himself know to her while keeping most of his wind below for fear of ruining the books. "Okami, it is me, Ollor the wind. I hope I am not bothering you too terribly, but I wouldn't if it wasn't so urgent. The Enslaver that had ruined the ball that night seemed to have also caught another dragon. As if that wasn't bad enough, it appears that this dragon was involved with the Yakuza gang and now there are three vans worth of the gang traipsing the mountains. Lady Shiro is already there, trying to diffusing the situation, though as far as I know her sister has yet to be seen. I wanted to inform you of the situation as well." Ollor stated as respectfully as he could manage.

"I appreciate it. Monitor the situation for now, I will head that way soon enough but if those twins want to claim the town, it will do everyone good for them to solve this themselves." IF they did own this town by percent, then the people needed to see them fix this, and so did Okami. She had no faith in them as of now.

She closed her eyes and breathed slowly, her eyes skimmed the books, completely missing the lines where....

She owned half of the town, and Kuro and Shiro each had a fourth. The lines where sometimes, light could not balance darkness, and darkness could not balance light.

Ollor gave the best approximation of a bow for an incorporeal wind spirit he could give, essentially swirling the dust around people's feet. He made to leave, satisfied with how Okami decided to handle the situation. Letting her sisters handle the situation shows a measure of faith on her part and lets her see how they handle trouble. Educational and practical. And as he shifted his presence to prepare to leave he noticed the books she was looking through. Curiosity piqued, he asked of the books "Doing some research on the Twins and yourself? I could help if you wish, I've been here longer than anything living, except perhaps the Twins--" Ollor stated, rather pleased with the idea of helping out Okami, but then a wind spirit came blustering through the library without thought or reason, ripping books off the shelves and sending loose papers flying in its wake. Ollor gripped it before it did any more harm. "What's going on now!" He snapped, furious with the spirits actions.

The spirit squirmed in Ollor's spiritual grip until he was released and was permitted to sink to the floor in penance. "I'm sorry Ollor, it's just an emergency is all, Lady Shiro got in trouble, called for you to help with the Enslaver. She was negotiating with him and was about to get that yakuza dragon back to his family when Lady Kuro showed up, now the yakuza dragon's dead and that monster is on a rampage with that big dragon of his!" The wind spirit squeaked.

Ollor's wind grew cold enough to form some snow on the ground, the basic equivalent of the paling of a human face. Well isn't that just great. He turned to Okami "I'm sorry but that offer would have to come at a later time, urgent business as you heard." Ollor said, incredibly apologetic.

Okami sighed, "Keep any trouble contained to that mountain. We don't need that guy burning down the town. He's 50 shades of insane, and not one of those is a good thing. I don't care if they free his dragon or not, he just needs to leave the ones here alone."

She looked at the books, "I will come along shortly."

"Understood Okami, I'll see what I can do." Ollor said, his wind swirling rather more briskly than his calm voice denoted. He resolved to hit that Enslaver with a few blasts of lightning the first chance he got for all the trouble he was presenting him. He made his way back through the open window and outside where he promptly rose high into the stratosphere and caught a ride off the jet streams that lived there, the jet stream winds being the fastest of the winds spirits. All the while he gathered himself for a good old-fashioned storm.
