Cortez appeared into his room and completely sealed it from all demons except him. He coughed, as he just used up 7/8's of his energy. He covered the window of the door before concentrating the energy in him to his center, and restoring his energy to his maximum capacity. He sighed in relief then said, "Damnit. I hope she understands that this could get both of our contracts of disciplinary teaching taken away." He stomped his foot, putting a small tremor in the ground, but one that only affected the room. The floor slightly cracked, but he used his anti-matter energy to repair it. Cortez sat into his teacher's chair and made it so only human and demon students could get into the room, not faculty or staff. The teacher made his shield invisible and very close to his skin, so it would be harder for people to see.

Cortez looked to the boy, dissipating his shield completely. He sighed and then said, "Hello. No need to worry about coming in here. I was honestly just talking to myself. You can come here if you want, but I do have to ask, why are your eyes red?" He looked at the boy with slight wonder as to why he might have been crying. The teacher thought for a moment, Maybe a girl accidentally hurt him, well, being here for several years will definitely put a wear on the persons' soul. He gestured him to come nearer to him then he said, "Don't worry, I'm a friend."

Cortez gave a warm smile then said, "Ah, that's understandable. I'm not very preferable on telling people my past. There are only a few people that I know in this school that I allow to ask about it, but they are all close friends. Don't beat yourself up too much on that." He patted the kid on the shoulder and then said, "Oh, and I was ordered to scold you for being held back again, but I really, honestly, don't care since you do all of your work and you keep your grades up. You just get into too many fights. I hope this year you can find a few friends, so you don't get into fights as often as last year." He went back to his desk and sat in the chair, looking back at the kid and saying, "A few people you may like to meet are Vivian Beckett, Hitaeru Unimoto, maybe Myria, Iyame Hana, Jack Harkins, and the teachers here are pretty nice, well, except the disciplinary teacher. I don't like her that much, anymore."

Cortez looked at him for a few seconds then replied, "No problem Alexander, and Jack, He's nice most of the time, but he can be a sour apple if you're in the middle or on his bad side. I can tell you that for sure. Though, it goes to show that a bad history can definitely have some minors effects from it." He started typing on his keyboard before stating, "Well, yes, I do know quite a lot about Jack; It's my job to look after him after his accident at the Shopping Center. Though, I make sure that I know more than most people know about him, well, other than Liustraes."

Cortez looked at the boy and said, "Well, he was not so happy with Liustraes and Hitaeru as they were enemies from the past. Jack was in a pretty bad mood one day, and he was sitting next to a few Kuoh Students. He managed to piss one of them off, scare the hell out of the other two, and Liustraes came out of the blue to knock Jack out, which we are allowed to do in case of an emergency, as this school allows people to carry guns and weapons. We did not want a shooting happen in the Shopping Center, so Liustraes decked him pretty hard, but Jack fell off of the balcony into a bunch of tables. And, somehow he also managed to fall down a few steps after that, but from the footage I saw, that was all on his own. He was in a coma for a few weeks, and he suffered from brain damage. He seems to be doing better though, at least his memories are coming back, oddly enough, none of his motor skills were affected." Cortez continued typing, until Alexander mentioned an island. The word 'solaria' echoed through his mind, and he sighed saying, "Sorry. That information is not meant to be heard. Anything that you do know about it is for only you to hear. That is a bad place to talk of; that is why it was shutdown."

Cortez sighed then stated the truth, "He probably trusted you enough because he knew you wouldn't tell anyone. Luckily, I'm not one to say anything to the higher-ups about that, and, well, he's allowed to tell you, minding that he follows a strict guideline. Me, I'm not allowed to tell, as I would probably lose my job." He finished typing a document, and sent it to Liustraes.

Cortez looked at the kid and said, "Well, at least you talked to me about it, rather than any other faculty. I'm one of the people who does not really talk to their superiors a lot, and I'm not one to say anything to anyone else, unless it is deemed very important." He quickly typed in a few searches, before saying, "Don't worry about what I'm sending to Liustraes, it's a project layout for something that I am building, and I'm asking for him to look over some of the math I did on it."
