Guardian House 010: Mollec and Lane Zambumari's (Black Zombie) home
House overview:
3 story compact house including basement. (So 2 above ground floors)
Before the death of his wife and child, Mollec turned the home into a dream house for his family. Once they had passed he felt no need to keep the house in tip top shape, so it became very decrepit.
Then Lane entered his life and thus the house was fixed up. A crib became a desk for her and many of the stuffed animals she owned were hand made. The house began to get filled with pictures of the two of them and mementos of the time they shared.
Then Zombie was exiled. Lane had no idea of this and believed he was dead. No one cared for the house during this time. When Mollec returned he had no desire to fix the place and his health was declining. This led the home to be a shell of it's former glory.
There were dull white walls stained with blood and tanished carpet stained with blood and black fluid. 2 bathroom- Main bathroom with shower and bathtub, and the bathroom connecting to Lane's room with shower, toilet, and bathtub. 2 bedroom- His bedroom (Mollec has a picture of him and his wife while she is in armor, holding her Bowie knife, kissing his cheek, while he is in street clothes holding his baby, on a nightstand next to a bottle of rum.) and Lane's bedroom
when she stayed the night. Basement- Had a work bench loaded with parts, tools, equipment, and many works in progress. Living room- Features a blue beat up couch, a chair made out of parts, coffee table turned end tables, his claymore above the couch mounted, and a chest with his armor in it. Kitchen- Refrigerator, two sink sink, island in the center
But once the two had reunited and Mollec had adopted Lane, the two decided to fix their home.
As lane started tearing into them, he noticed she hadn't read the files on his family, she got sidetracked on the virus. And as she was yelling at them, he popped open his visor to it's locked point, showing his mouth. He opened his mouth to show the petruding canines, and the teeth that started to point. He took off his gloves to show his curled, pointed nails. He grabbed her shoulders softly with his palms and lengthily fingers, and kneeled to her height.The reason I didn't tell you was because when I came back my brain was so affected by the virus I forgot who most of these people were. I damn near strangled Simon to death when he came into my home unannounced to say he made shift duty. I. forgot. everyone.Lane started yelling at Simon, he let her go, and walked back a few steps, taking a drink from his flask, putting his visor down and his gloves back on. When she for into speaking of s cure, he dropped his flask, turning around to her.
Langely, there is no cure. Nobody, not even the aliens, knew where it came from. I will be dead in five years, but I wanted to let you know that I still loved you, even if it meant speeding up the process. I would have done it in a heart beat just to let you know I still cared. That without a single doubt in your mind somebody loved you now as your parents did the day you were born.He mumbled, and his teeth started chattering, which was a bad sign. A minute later the guardian ranked above Simon came into the room, shouting and took a pair of hand cuffs and cuffed zombies ands together and dragged him out. He drop kicked the b***h, got up, and ran. He ran out the building and tore off to his house as she followed, and even though he was faster, she caught up. He ran and unlocked his house, forgetting he left his birthday flask and ran in, shutting the door behind him. He looked down to his handcuffs, and pulled his arms apart, shattering the flimsy metal. He grabbed his sword and pried the metal bracelets off it left on him, and tossed them to the side. He tossed his claymore and sheath back on the wall above the couch, and stood for a minute.I can't breath. This armor is feeling tight. I'm at home, so I should be good.
Zombie looked around, and undid the dozen buckles, and unlocked the 3 locks on his helmet. He pulled off his helmet, revealing his oriental like face, and his pitch black hair. He had no facial scars, and his eyes were a blackish purple color. He was one of the remaining Oriental in the den, and his wife didn't share her ethnicity. He didn't care, he just loved her as is. Armor after armor came off, and was tossed into a chest, all but his helmet which he forgot was on the side of the couch, the face looking at the door. It wasn't long before the girl came in from an open window, and she pulled out a brainsplitter. She laughed, speaking of killing him, but when she saw his face, it was too late. He dove at her and tore the gun out of her hand again, and open finger struck her shoulder joints and deadened the nerves. She struggled and pulled a knife out, and as she went to swing he pulled out a mauler and blew her face off, killing her. The mauler- his shotgun pistol- was a mean mugging gun. He tossed it by the box, and when his teeth started chattering again he went to walk to his shots, ones keeping the virus from taking over. He collapsed a few feet from them, coughing up blood as his eyes started bleeding, and laid face down in the blood stained carpet from his previous surgeries.Looks like I'm in a predicament now. ********... Lane is gonna be pissed...

"BZ? BZ! Let me in I know your in there! You left your flask!" Lane called out but received no answer. After looking for the emergency key she noted the open window. After sighing and taking off her heel she starting climbing in the house. After closing and locking the window behind her she starting looking for BZ. First she saw the dead watch woman and her loaded gun next to her. Lane shook her head. "Mollec! Oh I could just strangle you right now." Lane put down the flask and got his shots. After administering them she miraculously got him on the couch. "Do not get up. You shall sit here and explain to me why that predicament needlessly happened as I clean up blood and file a report because my fingerprints aren't going on that dead body. Note to self get paint and order new carpet...Oh I could so strangle you right now you know that right? "

Simon climbed inside through the window behind Lane and wasn't surprised at all by what he saw. Simon grabbed his gun and shot the body with the vaporizor as well as the remains to clean up the mess. "Lane you'll clean up the blood right?" Simon knelt against the wall still smoking the same cigarette. "I'm head of watch duty now. That's good. It means Zombie's probation and his treatment rests in my hands so it won't be long before our old friend here is given his title back." Simon added Lane to the new second in command and exhaled another cloud of smoke.

Lane managed to enter the house to find the gormatic scene as Mollec laid on the floor. He could hear her yell at him, and he could feel her tiny self move his large lengthly body onto the couch, which was where he usually slept. He listened to her and sighed as she injected him, and feeling started coming back to him. When she got close he reached out and softly took ahold of her sides and pulled her into his chest as he laid.I loooove yoooou. Are you mad at meeee? I loooove yoooou. Please don't be maaad at meeee.He slurred, coughing and nuzzled his head against hers.
Glad I got to see you with my own eyes before I died, not though the visor. You truly are beautiful sweetie.He looked at the dead guardian, and lifted lane up in the air.Self defense. She attacked, I blew her face off. Now Simons the number one.Zombie looked around, and yawned, laying lane back on his chest as he rested his head in the arm rest. He noticed all the blood, and remembered the large scar on his stomach, where they cut to remove intestines. He watched Simon enter as well and let out another sigh. He noticed lane was taking well to seeing him unarmored for the first time in about 7 years, the day they met, so he smiled softly and relaxed.Are you mad at me Laney? And Simon don't ******** smoke in my house! Smoke on the damn porch. And help yourself to what is in your stash in the fridge.

Second in command please more like third. We all know BZ runs the show around here. I'm keeping your flask Mollec. You know that right. You get it back after you exhibit better behavior. Take the stupid shots on time from now on. Yes I am maaad at yooou. I'm very maaad. Now let me go. I love you too, but you need to take your medicine and I have to get this place back in order...I hope you've cleared your schedule. There will definitely be some repainting over these blood stained walls...And don't talk about you dying alright. At least not in front of me. Thank you for the compliment. You still are handsome and sweet as ever. But you are still a huge idiot. I'm keeping a time schedule. You almost gave me a heart attack." Though she wanted to be tough and unforgiving, her heart betrayed her. His words and Simon's words were starting to sink in. She only had five more years give or take with the closest thing she had to a real father. She had to savor these moments though she wished they wouldn't end. She hugged him then got up and started cleaning. Zombie and Simon could hear her scream, "Mollec! Simon! What is this black crap on the carpet? BZ I thought told you about this knife in the coffee table when I was thirteen! Oh I can feel the grey hair coming..." Lane muttered then she began cleaning.

Mollec looked at Lane as she complained about the knife in the table. It was his wife's 2 foot pink handle Bowie knife, and it was time he figured he should take it out. It was 7 years since the incident, and it was time he moved it.Dont touch that knife. That's mine.He slurred, coughing again and pulled it out the table. He looked at it, and laid it on his chest, holding it.Black s**t is vomit Laney. Schedule is every eight hours, otherwise I bleed. And yes dear, I'll stop talking about death. You don't need that in your life.He stared at the ceiling, closing his eyes, and opened them as he looked at lane. She was sweet like this, taking care of his old a**. He laughed to himself, and watched her play.We still need our celebration first Lane. We need to stop at the store.He mumbled, wanting to celebrate with lane. He wished he could have been there, and it made him sad he wasn't. He wasn't there for along time, and he owed it to her.I love my Laney.

Let's get this place back to its former glory...We can celebrate without a huge feast. Perhaps we could build a weapons case and even have a special place in it for the knife...I know it's yours and I respect you don't want me to mess with it. But a knife shouldn't be lodged in a table. Why is it so special to you?" Lane asked the young girl had finished cleaning and was now measuring the room. The new flooring idea was cemented in her head. Lane was going to fix up the house. Once she set her mind on doing something it was almost impossible to tell her otherwise. She refused to allow BZ to spend his last years in such conditions. That and accept he was on his last years. "Simon what do you think carpet still or hardwood? At least hardwood floors wouldn't stain as bad.

Mollec yawned, turning on his side as she spoke. There was not going to be any food, and he wasn't keen on people playing with his wife's house. He was about to say something against it, but lane caught him off guard.No paint swatches. The house is fine as is. Doesn't need to be pret.... Nevermind. I think she'd like that.Lane spoke of cases, and why the knife was special. He took the blade of it and laid it on the table, took his shirt off, revealing a full Irezumi, body covered in tattoos, and his shoulder held the face of his smiling wife. He picked the knife off the table and tapped the image of her face with it.
It's Hazeka's knife. Her prized Bowie knife, made from old steel. She claimed alot of lives with this knife at a young age, and before she went on the mission she didn't come back from, me and her got into an argument. Something stupid, but she imbedded her knife into the table. It stayed there until now, and that was... about 8 years ago I think. She'd like me to use it, and she never believed weapons should be inclosed, they should be open to use.He mumbled to himself, not bothering to look to see if anyone was listening. He took the knife and put it with his armor, taking a piece of her weapon with him.Carpet. Don't care what color, but carpet.Zombie looked at simon and lane, and then looked at his destroyed body. He had the giant cut from the surgeries, the bullet wound scars, knife wound scars, and training scars. He looked like a beat up rag doll, and he chuckled to himself, looking around for his needle, thread, and ink.I need to touch up some of these tattoos again.

For a long time Lane just stared at Mollec skimming over his appeareance. None of the scars seemed infected they just seemed to be everywhere. She tried to remember any of the tattoos, scars, or a women named Hazeka, but could not. Then again she did not really expect to. Her younger years were becoming more and more hazy. She did pick up of the fact Zombie would probably prefer whatever other weapons she found not to be in some case. Still that didn't mean they would have to be imbedded in the furniture. She also made a mental note to leave his room alone. As for the other rooms in the three story house, they were fair game.
Lane also wondered who the she he referred to was. Whomever she was Lane felt she owed her. It was thanks to her she would be able to paint over the chipped blood stained walls and replace the bloody carpet. She said nothing regarding his desire to touch up his tattoos. Her main concern was making sure he was eating and taking his shots. "Carpet it is then. Okay...What about the walls? Do you still want them to be beige? And make sure when you touch up those tattoos the needle is clean. I don't want you to get an infection." Lane replied to him. "Also, you and Simon have to tell me about you diet and such. You can't be skipping out on your meals. Also I have to start looking at my schedule a little more closely and get it configured so I can visit here at least once a day. Are you stocked up on all your current medication? Do you have monthly blood test?"

Mollec shrugged as she asked about the color of his homes walls. He couldn't have cared one bit, and yet, it made him sad at the same time. He had dreams of cleaning the place up, but without Hazeka he couldn't. He couldn't bring himself to do it, but since he enjoyed lane he'd let her.Bright neon pink with black spots. I don't care what you do with them lane. This is your decision. This is your house too.He relaxed as she spoke about the needle, and he reached underneath the couch and grabbed a pill bottle with cleaning solution and needles in it. He popped the top off and pulled one out, and reached under again to bring out ink supplies and thread.Yes laney, I know you bugged me about it when you were little. I'd use dirty needles and get infections you played with.He laughed, dipping thread in the ink after tying a knot through the hole. He started sticking the needle through the tattoo part of Hazeka's pink hair, touching up the pink as he pulled the thread through the holes he was making.Cant eat most vegetables, I can eat a few meats, can't drink regular milk, only goats milk. I can drink alcohol still.Looking up at the ceiling Mollec questioned things for a moment, then looked back at lane. He wasn't going to say anything about the surgery coming up.I need to pick some up in the morning. I'm down to 2 shots right now. I will need to go pick some up when I get time. That and I need more ink. Blood test is due in 2 days.

Lane's eyes widened slightly at his words. "This is your house, you just let me stay here. I'll go grocery shopping tomorrow probably. Also do you need me to accompany you to get your shots? I don't mind." Lane replied to him. "So you really don't care how the walls and carpet turn out? Well you are no fun. Come on BZ. Please. This is supposed to be something fun we do together. We're supposed to be celebrating without cake or ice cream. More smiling, less shrugging. You are bumming me out."
