xxxxx This here is the Division Three Training Grounds. Every member of the Division is expected to use this place regularly. However this is not the place to practice your long range skills. There is a basic dojo for practicing you martial arts and, a studio to practice your sword work. There is even a Zen garden to mediate in order to communicate with your Zanpakutō.

『Ulixes Cernuus』 As he entered the Training Grounds, he first made his way to the dojo, as it was the most likely place for the Lieutenant to be. Slipping off his sandals, he ducked under the door frame that was far to short for him to walk under normally, and entered.
Sure enough, when he looked around, Sephiroph was there, training. "Sephiroph!" He called to get the Lieutenant's attention, but his 'shout' was only the same sound level as another person's ordinary speaking. He moved closer to better be heard. "Jack has requested you join her in battle. She is currently en route to battle a Captain-level threat that has appeared in the Seireitei. She is operating on old information though, so it would be best if she were to receive back up as quickly as possible."
As he spoke, a new Hell Butterfly came floating in and landed on his shoulder. Lifting it with his finger, he went silent for several seconds while listening to it's message. "Hmm... there seems to have been a change in the tide of battle, if I am to understand this correctly. It seems as though the presences earlier sensed have begun pulling back. Still, this cannot be allowed, as you must realized. It would still be remiss of us to not join our Captain post-haste."

He stood smirking and fanning himself with his now fan-shaped Zanpakuto while he watched the once-standing dummy fall to a pile of ashes a few yards off. He hadn't been training like he usually did here, only burning off stress; in the literal sense.
When Sephiroph did notice someone had entered, he quickly spun on his heel and closed his fans, placing the handles of them together so they started to take the shape of his original blade. Once this was done, he sheathed it at his back and only then looked to who his visitor was.
"Ah, Ulixes. You frightened me. Thought it must be Cap'n coming to beat the daylights out of me over last week's paperwork.." Sephiroph explained with a bit of a shamed grin. With that, he listened to the request and nodded in response. "A Captain-level threat? Sounds serious. Especially if the threat is pulling back.. " Sephiroph sighed and stuffed his hands into his pockets, lazily walking past Ulixes to the door. When he reached it he looked back to Ulixes with a fairly large giddy grin.
"Whelp, let's go kick some unwanted a** for Miss Jack, big guy." Sephiroph said cheerfully and suddenly used Shunpo to fly out the door. It was when he was speeding through the training grounds that he realized something.
He had no idea where he was going.
Stopping in his tracks, Sephiroph turned back to face the dojo which was now a football-field length away. He lifted a hand to scratch embarassedly at his head and then shouted to Ulixes, "Erm.. Lead the way! I'd rather not get us lost!" He stated truthfully and waited for Ulixes to join him. While he waited he thought over the whole situation. Why had he just now heard about this threat? Had they been keeping it a secret or did nobody truly know until now? Whichever way, the threat had to be stopped.
Captain Jack would hopefully have it under control by the time they got there but if not, Sephiroph was ready to back her up to the best of his ability even if it was a Captain-level threat. Still... it was unnerving to have such little information on the threat in and of itself.

『Ulixes Cernuus』 Ulixes laughed in response to Sephiroph's joke about paperwork - it had actually been the same paperwork Ulixes had been working on and received Jack's signature on. His mouth twisted in a scowl as he watched Sephiroph zip away.
When he saw Sephiroph stop moving and turn back to call to him, Ulixes quickly Shunpo'd forward to catch up. It took him slightly longer than Sephiroph to cover the distance. When he arrived, he let out a small huff of breath. Moving his entire mass took a lot more energy than any other Shinigami, which was the main reason his Shunpo was subpar. "It is taking place in one of Seireitei's residential districts. I will lead the way."
With that, Ulixes took off once more, confident that Sephiroph would have no issues following.

He remained attentive to Ulixes while the man followed him and made mental notes upon what he wished to improve during their spar. "I see. Alright, this should work out quite nicely now that I know what I'm going to be dealing with. That technique does seem useful; especially for our Division in particular. I cannot wait to see exactly how it is carried out."
Sephiroph had no planned tricks up his sleeves and would not have any for their spar. He saved the tricks and schemes for serious battles. In fact, he did not plan on being on the offensive side too much for this spar unless he was given a good opening. "I've no techniques that I plan on using that I can think of. I plan on working on my defensive maneuvers. This would pertain to using both my Shikai's defensive stance as well as defending myself without using my Shikai. The latter is the most important for this training. However, my primary focus will be helping you work to perfecting your Deadly Darts technique. This, of course, does not mean I plan on losing the spar though." Sephiroph noted with a wide grin, looking up at the building of a man that walked next to him. He was excited, that was clear to any eye no matter how perceptive. Of course, Sephiroph was always excited for a battle. Something about the rush of adrenaline and the clash of swords or fists just made him the happiest he could be it seemed. Especially on these days where he had practiced mostly alone. Having a sparring partner was going to make things much more interesting.
It was then that the two men came upon the large training grounds. Sephiroph cut across the path in front of the dojo and made his way to the Studio where swordsmanship was usually carried out. It seemed the best place to practice though he would have preferred a large, open area of some sort. 'Well there's this spot. Unless you can think of a better place to go about our spar."

╔═════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╗ Location: Division Three Training Grounds * Company: Jinsen Octus * Mood: Cheerful*Stamina: Full * Health: Fresh * Zanpakuto: Sealed ╚═════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╝ Jack landed in the Training Grounds with a bit more force than she had intended. It was just so frustrating. Jack didn’t ask for much. Everyone knew that. All she asked for was sex and, to be called Jack, not Jacky. She didn’t even ask for respect or power. Why did the Head-Captain insist on calling her Jacky? The next time it happened Jack was going to break his nose. She didn’t care if she got court-martialed.
Then Jack smiled. It had been a long time since she had gotten to train with one of her Officers. It had been even longer since she had trained with Jinsen. She wondered if he would say yes this time. Jacky didn’t think so. Jack pulled of her haori and, began to stretch. She didn’t want to damage anything important in this spar. Winding up in Division Four would not be good at all.
Jack told Jinsen, “It’s been awhile since we’ve sparred. I’m going to test your skills first. Once I’ve gone that I will make an evaluation on how on how we can work to improve your skills. Believe it or not this is not a division for slackers.” Then Jack smiled, “Are you ready my stunningly beautiful Third Seat? As always the first move is yours.”
Jack unsheathed her Zanpakutō. This battle may have been a spar but, she would take in seriously. Her smirk was flirtatious and, her blue eyes glinted dangerously. This was going to be great.

"A TRUE WARRIOR IS CALCULATING AND STRIKES WHEN IT'S NEEDED. BUT A TRUE MAN NEVER GOES DOWN FROM A BATTLE." Jinsin followed fast behind his captain. After her ordeal it was no wonder she wanted to spar. He at least hoped though that she wasn't looking for blood. At the thought of this he smirked, but he couldn't have been more worried. The fact that her eyes and her smile were telling two different stories kept him on edge as well. One was tempting scream COME AND GET ME! But the other sliced deep as if to say ...Only if you dare. Regardless he took his battle position. He hated having the first move against her because there wasn't any clear first move. She was for more skilled at Zanjutsu than him and he knew this so rushing in like that would be begging to lose. So he thought for a moment. He decided it'd be best to start simple and start getting a read on her. And so he placed one hand on the hilt of his blade and with his other hand he pointed his finger outwards. In his cool and calm demeanor he spoke,"Hadō #4. Byakurai." He was awaiting her reaction to this simple attack and from there he'd begin really moving.

╔═════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╗ Location: Division Three Training Grounds * Company: Jinsen Octus * Mood: Cheerful*Stamina: Full * Health: Fresh * Zanpakuto: Sealed ╚═════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╝ Jack sighed as she easily dodged the Kidō, “Come now Jinsen. You know better than to aim at where a target is. You have to aim at where a target is going to be. That’s the first rule of wielding a long ranged weapon. It doesn’t matter if it’s a bow, a gun, or Kidō.” Jack swung her arms out, “Try it again Jinsen.”
A voice spoke up from the back of her head, “That’s hardly fair. You’re stationary right now. There are a million ways you can dodge.”
Jack told her Zanpakutō, “He has seen me in battle he knows that I tend to go backwards and up to avoid attacks. I’ll follow that pattern now. I’m testing to make sure he knows the basics. We’ll be unpredictable later. Does that work for you Chimamire no Yuki?”
Chimamire no Yuki hummed in approval, “That makes sense. Works for me.”
Jack’s grin got wider as she shirted her feet so she could push off the ground and, away. She liked Jinsen. Most people viewed her as a slut and, either hated her for it or liked what she would give them. Some saw her in need of saving; from what Jack didn’t know. Jinsen didn’t; he saw her as his Captain and, simply sighed every time she was found with company. He didn’t push or pry or make excuses for her. Jack was more than willing to help him get better; if he was willing to put forth the effort. Jack was sure he was.

"A TRUE WARRIOR IS CALCULATING AND STRIKES WHEN IT'S NEEDED. BUT A TRUE MAN NEVER GOES DOWN FROM A BATTLE." Jinsin listened to his captain. What she was saying was true, and he knew it, but he was just warming up and that she should know. The advice of aim for where they would be was expert advice, often called a lead shot for those into long ranged fighting however at this point in the fight such a thing wasn't possible. Before you can react to where someone will dodge you have to condition them into going that way and then you have be fast enough to react. She had a nasty habit of going back and up that he'd observed before and he planned on using it but right now he had nothing to condition this response from her, not without getting uncomfortably close to a far better zanjutsu than he himself. So he was taking his time. Patience, this is key for any long ranged fighter and he had it down to a tee. So once again he studied her, Her feet, he noted, They're positioned for her to leap away again. and so with this observation he spoke, "Hadō #4. Byakurai." he waited just a second then like lightning he used his shunpo in attempts to close the distance between them and by placing himself in the air he hoped to catch her once she'd leaped in the air to dodge. He placed his palm forward for a Sho, while weak he didn't plan on using it for its damage, rather he planned to use it to catch her, and if successful would lead into a combo.
OOC I am so very sorry for the long wait.

She grinned; it looked like Jinsen hadn’t just trusted what he had known about her. He had read her body language as well. This was good. He could learn. She looked over her shoulder to see that he had used Shunpo to meet her. Jack smirk and, let his next Kidō push her back to the ground. She leaned forward and, somersaulted forward. She came up in a half crouch. She had her Zanpakutō in front of her.
The Captain was still grinning, “Very good Jinsen! I knew you could do it.” the Archer of Death started to smirk, “Now let’s see how well you dodge. Stain it red, Chimamire no Yuki!”
Jack’s sword became a white bow that was forty centimeters long. The bow itself was pure white but, there was a ribbon that trailed from the bottom curve that was a bluish-white and speckled with blood-red spots.
Jack pulled back the bowstring towards her ear, “Ya no Kōri!”
Two bolts of ice flew towards Jinsen. Jack used Shunpo to flash behind him to repeat the attack. Jinsen now had for arrows made out of ice headed at him. Two came from one direction and, two were headed in from another angle. Jack was aiming at Jinsen but, didn’t expect to hit him. She wanted to see if he could keep calm and, dodge the blows.

"A TRUE WARRIOR IS CALCULATING AND STRIKES WHEN IT'S NEEDED. BUT A TRUE MAN NEVER GOES DOWN FROM A BATTLE." The attacks came fast but Jinsin refused to lose his calm. Thrusting his palm to the heavens Jinsin used a Sho to thrust himself downward and used shunpo to distance himself away from the arrows and wasting no time drew his blade, "Dust your shoulders and rise to your master's defense, Hakai no marionetto!" As he spoke his blade disolved away and took the shape of a bow in his hands. Over his eye a scope formed over his right eye. Closing his left eye he focused in on Jack. A grin slid across his face as he tilted his bow sideways and fired 3 shots quickly horizontally to catch her dodging habits. She wasn't dumb at all and he knew this, that being said he doubted she would keep the same dodge pattern with three shots covering all angles so he knelt down on one knee after firing these shots and set his bow on his shoulder to catch whatever direction, left or right, she decided to dodge.

Jinsen was certainly creative. She absently wondered how far that creativity extended. Specifically she wanted to know if had extended to the bedroom. Jinsen had never once said yet to his Captain’s advances but, seemed resigned to her flirting. Jack respected “No.” That didn’t mean she stopped flirting. That was just the way she was.
Jack threw herself into a forward somersault to avoid the three arrows coming her way. The time for predicable was over. Jack rose into a half crouch and, aimed her bow at Jinsen. She pulled the bowstring back but, didn’t lose the bolt quite yet.
Jack cheerfully called out, “You are certainly creative. Does that hold true in the bedroom as well.” Jack laughed, “Well the bedroom is optional.” Jack was still grinning even though she became serious, “The assessment is over Jinsen. This is the survival round.” Jack finally let the bowstring go, “Ya no Chi!”
Jack sent one arrow made of blood and spiritual pressure at her Third Seat’s heart. Her accuracy improve as she sent less arrows. However she still didn’t think this one would make it. Jinsen was far too fast. Jack was fighting for survival as well. It was time to play dirty.

"A TRUE WARRIOR IS CALCULATING AND STRIKES WHEN IT'S NEEDED. BUT A TRUE MAN NEVER GOES DOWN FROM A BATTLE." As he heard her announce the time for play was over his heart involuntarily speed up in it's pace. But he knew he wasn't one to go down easy and he'd make this fight as hard for her as she'd make it for him. Jinsin however couldn't help but laugh at his captain's flirtatious ways. She was persistent and for once he actually considered taking her up on her offer but when he saw her draw back and to fire his mind immediately got it's priorities straight. Her accuracy was deadly, and her shots fast, Jinsin knew he couldn't let her flirting take his mind from anything else but the fight else he wish to make this battlefield his grave. And so with the arrow speeding fast at him he knew there was no dodging it. So he did the next best thing. Shunpoing back a short distance he bought just a split second of time to call down a wall in front of him. This wasn't just any 'wall' however it was a giant mechanical hawk. The hawk twisted it's body around so that the arrow struck it's large tail. The release command for Jinsin's shikai couldn't be more accurate. It revolved around defending himself whilst still remaining offensive.
Jinsin wasted no time and leaped onto the hawk's back and in no time they were airborne. It's tail was injured but it could still manage to fly. Jinsin tried to take the hawk up high while using his scope to keep locked on to Jack's position. While he was moving fast in the air and moving high at a steady rate making it difficult for any grounded opponent to easily read him, his scope allowed him to keep an eye on Jack with ease. Jinsin called out to his captain "A man can only refuse a woman's advances so many times and I feel i'm reaching my limit, keep up the flirting and I just may finally fold!" Jinsin adored his captain though he always felt taking that extra step, that step to the bed room, would just be taking advantage especially with how easy she made it. Still he did enjoy her and maybe he was trying to be too noble with refusing her, "all things to be thought out another time." He thought to himself refocusing. He steadied his Crossbow while activating Bakudo #53. Noble Eightfold Paths. Runes spread out across the back of the hawk. Typically this is something to be staionary but with his hawk he could still remain mobile while not actually moving his position at all. With it activated he focused his cross bow on her. It was her move now.

So she didn’t try to hide Instead she used Shunpo to flash onto the hawk. Jack landed behind Jinsen. Just because her specialty was long range combat didn’t mean that was all she could do. She was a fair hand at hakuda as well. She wasn’t the best but, she could hold her own.
Jack cheerfully commented, “You know the thing about the hawk Jinsen? It’s both a huge target and, a good battlefield.”
That was when Jack planted her left foot and, swung her right foot around to kick Jinsen with a kick infused with spiritual pressure. She was aiming for his left shoulder for several reasons. For one thing that was his blind side and, for another Jack was hoping to dislocated Jinsen’s left shoulder. Jack hadn’t said anything about this being a long range battled. She knew that Jinsen was weak in close quarter combat. Of course she was going to take advantage of that. Jack may not have been a master but, she was certainly better than her Third Seat.
As Jack swung around she said, “If you’re finally conceding does that make this battle foreplay?”
Jack wasn’t sure what to make of that. Jinsen might not believe it but, Jack hadn’t seriously been trying to get Jinsen to her bed for some time. He had said no so Jack had shifted from seducing to flirting. There was a difference even if most people didn’t know that. Besides if Jack hadn’t flirted with Jinsen people might stop to wonder if something was wrong with the red-haired Captain. Jack didn’t want anyone asking questions.

"A TRUE WARRIOR IS CALCULATING AND STRIKES WHEN IT'S NEEDED. BUT A TRUE MAN NEVER GOES DOWN FROM A BATTLE." Jack had caught Jinsin off guard with quick shunpo, but she had made a mistake coming close. Jinsin was severely lacking in hand to hand skills something he hoped to get better at sometime down the road. But Jack was the one at the disadvantage this time. This barrier he had put around himself slowed down all incoming attacks, physical or otherwise. She was smart attacking his blindside but the spiritual pressure she had infused into attack to make sure it was a crushing blow gave him enough of a heads up and with the barrier slowing down her attacks and speeding up his, Jinsin was able to quickly move out of the way of the attack and set up his own counter. They were close and with the barrier speeding up his already fast shots he knew her escaping this without getting hit by any of the 3 rapid fire shots was unlikely. He felt the irony in her statement and mocked it as he fired. "It sure is a good battlefield, but for whom is the question you must ask yourself." he wasn't even attempting to hide his grin.
