There was a legend about Tornadus and Thundurus, and how they had wreaked havoc upon the world, only to be stopped by Landorus. The people were so thankful to him, they built a shrine to honor him, and Landorus pleased by this simple act, made sure to keep the fields of the people green and abundant
Over time those who built the shrine to him got older and passed on the story of what happened to others and in time what was once known to be truth, became little more than a fanciful story. Those who had especially good harvests were merely touted as being excellent farmers. Never once seeing the help Landorus had provided in this.
Still, Landorus did not mind, because the shrine stood even now, though it was older, and showing its age. Still, it bore testament to the thanks of the people so long ago.
~
That is until recently when a big business man named Giovanni purchased the land the shrine was on, plans to build a "top secret hide out" in the works...and brought construction crews in who began to clear the land of all obstacles to the bosses plans. Including the shrine.
Having his shrine destroyed enraged Landorus so much, he began to rampage. Crops withered and died, other farms were unable to produce even weeds...and with him wreaking havoc instead of keeping the peace, Tornadus and Thundurus followed suit and began to rampage across the world once more, causing many natural disasters.
Some pokemon had experienced forest fires that wiped out their homes. Poke-children were caught in flash floods that washed them and their home away. High winds blew everyone and everything about...in general things had gotten bad because the trio were behaving as they were.
A strong feeling of wanting to get to the bottom of the anomalies happening would come over certain Pokemon, and Pokehumans of all ages. Will you help stop Giovanni, and restore the shrine to Landorus to bring peace to the angered god, who can then once again calm the other two, and allow the world to return to normal? Or will you instead side with Giovanni and Team Rocket, and work to capture the trio?

If you miss posting 3 times in a row, you will be DQ'd from the meta (Unless something has come up that prevents you from participating for a short time, and someone on staff knows about it. No coming to a staff member after the DQ.)
The meta event will count for two rp's, two solo's, or one of each, for each the characters you are using!
If you are unable to continue participating in the meta, please let Liri know so this can be handled as well (I understand things come up!)
Prizes:
Most of these will be awarded at the close of the meta.
We have blessings from many different Legendaries to come. Blessings can be used on any character, except one that has been previously blessed. Yes, that means your legendary can get a blessing!
Potions - Some of these may be randomly found/gifted through the meta, so keep an eye out, plus some will be awarded at the end as well! Other times, you will be asked to RNG 1-3 to decide the rarity of the potion found, and then to RNG between 1 & whatever. (Number here corresponds with how many are in that potion grouping. Whatever number is RNG'd is what is found.)
Legendaries - There will be legendaries at the end to be gotten as well.
Let Liri Pay - Next time an artist has a custom slot open and you get it, Liri will pay for your custom so long as it is a normal or shiny, at any stage! (This excludes legendaries, or hybrids). - Currently 4 spots. More may be added.
Prizes are based on participation and will be decided upon by the staff.

Legends were tales told by tired mothers who wished for their rambunctious children to sleep. They were merely methods to pacify youth, weren't they? Shousuke didn't feel sure on his beliefs anymore. He felt a quiver in his spine as he walked. Small hands were stuffed into his pants pockets so his companions couldn't see his sweating palms. The forest fires weren't that unusual for this time of year, and the floods he could pass off, but at the same time? And with such ferocity? It gave Shousuke cotton mouth.
At his sides were sisters as different as night and day, but connected in love. Bethanne stood at his right, her eyes wide and fearful. She licked her lips. This was a lot worse than she thought, but when she turned to look at Willemina the straight determination in her sisters eyes set her straight. Today should have been simple. A little dinner in the park, listening to performers and maybe even trying to hook her sister up with one of them. Simple! "Shousuke, we shouldn't be going this way. It's nastier over here."
Willemina reached for Bethanne's hand, and gave it a comforting squeeze.
"That's the point," he stated, climbing over a log in his path. It looked like the poor tree had been uprooted, which didn't bode well for their little mission. "If somethings going down, I want to know what it is. This isn't normal, and the faster it stops the sooner all of this-" He waved his hand -"will end."
Willemina felt that same pull that held Shou in it's sway. She needed to know, and had it not been for the heavy, hesitant footfalls of her sister she would have been running. Her tail snapped in agitation, it's grin as maniacal as the forces of nature themselves. They were close to something, but what?

You're up next!
Shousuke seems to have unearthed something while climbing over that log. RNG 1-3 to see which potion type was found, then RNG the number listed there (there is a numbered list near the bottom of the first post.) Please mention this in your next Meta post

Lightning was standing outside her family's house with Fluffernutter, waiting for Calantha to join them. They had been watching on the news lately about the natural disasters that had been happening all over and they were worried. Light and Fluff had to convince Dea to take it easy, that they would get her if she or Eilam was needed. The pair would have thought the rumors about this being the work of gods was all a fairy tale, but Eilam had been quite serious when he had told them the 'legend.' So Lightning had volunteered to look into it and Fluff had asked if he could come too. So Light had assured him he could and then Dea had called her mother, who promised to send Calantha with them.
"I still can't believe this is happening. We have to find out what might be upsetting these Pokemon and find some way to get them to calm down,"Light spoke.
"Do you think something happened? Could they be hurt? Can we stop them?"Fluff asked in his rapid fire way. Lightning shrugged, she wasn't sure about any of that.
'We will just have to wait and see. Are we ready to head off?'Callie spoke, though to anyone that didn't know or understand her, it would sound like she was just saying her Pokemon name.
"Yeah, let's go,"Lightning nodded, before the trio started walking down the road together.

When Brenny stepped out of his apartment, the celebi seemed disgruntled. He carried a plastic bag that seemed to be pilled with fresh cookies. Several of them had folded in on themselves, due to their warmth. He hoped the angry legendary Pokemon would appreciate these! What had angered them so, that they'd start causing scary weather?
The celebi had opted for staying inside most of the time. Heavy winds, floods, forest fires: he hated it! He felt he was being tugged in a direction, and followed it. Soon, he bumped into a dragonite: who seemed to have had the same idea. "Sorry!" he said, but the dragonite boy didn't seem to hear him.
"Our house nearly got washed away," he said. "I'm not going to let that happen again. I can protect Briar from anything else that comes our way, but weather..." he shook his head. Their house had been damaged by the floods: Rhiyn had panicked, naturally. "What do you think is going on?" He asked. "Come on, let's go together."
"I like together," Brenny agreed, beaming. "I brought cookies to cheer them up! I think they must be very sad, to let these things happen."

The tree Theo had been residing in had been destroyed by the storm. He had been smart to listen to his instincts and flee, he supposed: but it was still hard. He had become attached to that tree. It was his! And now it was gone.
He'd find a better one, he figured. A better tree. He hesitated. Did he really want to find out what the source of the storms was? Surely it was a destructive thing, whatever it was. No, he didn't think he did. Best leave that to the experts! And yet... A burning curiousity had developed in The o's heart. He knew he shouldn't want to know: that it was dangerous; he also knew he had to know.
"Curiousity killed the cat," he muttered, making his way towards the road. "But maybe not the hoothoot."

At first he hadn't really felt the need to step in when Landorus started to make a fuss, feeling that the old Legendary would get things figured out. Landrous was probably just grumpy was all, old men tended to have their moments, right? It was when things started to go poorly that he started to worry more about the situation, feeling that perhaps it was more then just one old man throwing a fit over something. The land itself was suffering, meaning that he really should go and find Landorus, see if he could talk to him, make him calm down, and get him to return things to normal. It was strange though, Landorus had always seemed the more level headed of the trio. He'd get it figured out, he couldn't let any of his children get hurt because Landorus was in a foul mood.
Stepping outside of his cabin Ialu looked up at the sky for a moment before he lifted his hood up, using it to hide himself, before he floated forward toward where he had last seen the old man. He would see if he could speak with him, calm his anger, and make him feel better! Leaving the others in his family behind, feeling it would be best to keep them out of this, Zenny especially. He wanted there to be less fighting after all, not more of it, and bringing a grouchy Gyarados along would only make things worse.
*****
Looking down at the ground from the sky Nidhogg gave a great yawn, the end of his tail twitching. Something was going on of late, something messy, and while he didn't really care he found himself he felt a bit worried. What if his brother decided to get involved? Was there anything to be gained here? Hm... he supposed that he should go and check on him, shouldn't he? He didn't care what was going on down below but if his brother meant to get in on it then he should probably tag along, huh? More energy then he felt like expending, he'd much rather just continue to nap in the clouds, but he couldn't leave his brother to go get into trouble without him. They might not see eye to eye on much but he tended to follow his lead regardless.
He supposed that was the plan then. He'd go find Jormungandr, see what the plan was, and he'd decide if it was worth the trouble. He'd almost say it wouldn't be, but his brother wouldn't be happy with him if he just lazed about.
*****
Flicking his tongue into the air the smiley Seviper known as Gideon tasted the energy in the air and hissed thoughtfully to himself, wondering what was up today. Seemed as though something strange was going on. He felt the desire to go and check it out. Surely it must be something interesting and who knew, maybe he would find more Poison Types to follow around! The one he normally spent his type stalking was rather skittish, meaning that he should probably leave him alone for a bit. He'd head out, see if there was anyone else to play with, and maybe along the way he would figure out what was going out there.
Slithering along the Seviper's tail was swishing in an excited manner. It had been some time since he'd gone wandering, having spent his recent days following the skittish Zubat around. He'd spend some time playing elsewhere.

Not for the first time that day, Switch found herself wiping tears from her eyes. When she had left the Cotier farm armed with a backpack full of leek sandwiches and other provisions, including water and a blanket, they had been complicated tears. She knew that those sandwiches came from a miniscule crop, thanks to the Gods of Nature. Her sense of belonging had been overwhelming when she discovered that treasure.
Now her pain came from utter despair. The clearing where her family had once called home had been erased from the earth, first summarily washed away by a mudslide, and then razed as if by spite by forest fire. Now any evidence of the family that had been destroyed in violence and hate was completely gone. There was nothing left to relate to her memory. She felt somehow that she had lost them for a second time. And her tears would not end.
Blinded as she turned back toward the forest, she nearly tripped over an ottoman-sized pink blob. With a melodramatic yowl, Skittles the Skitty dodged out of the way at the last moment.“Skittles, I’m sorry.”Hastily she wiped the blur from her eyes but he had already disappeared into the forest, presumably back home.
Sighing, the Cotiers’ words of comfort and support floated through her mind and she hefted the backpack more firmly on her shoulders. She had no idea where she was going, but she headed in the direction that felt right. Somehow, she would find out why so many people had to suffer the gods’ wrath.

Perhaps it was a mistake to show those books to him.Havard could ask this himself later why he had encouraged Hazan to go on this crazy trip so far away from home. For now he tried to content himself listening to Hazan's distorted voice over the phone.
Hazan chattered on about how the leaf on his head could sense changes in the weather."It's had such a strange vibration lately,"he remarked."But the group I'm with is great. Some of them are students like me, and they're all interested in finding the shrine and restoring it to its former glory. Isn't that great?"
"Yeah, that's great. Hazan, be careful."
Hazan set off with his party that morning feeling some uncharacteristic misgivings about the weather. He had seemed to shrug it off over the phone hoping Havard would not worry, but he couldn’t help but wonder if it was because of the three Forces of Nature.
- - -
Days, a week went by with no word from Hazan. The mewtwo boy could have easily shrugged his worry away, attributing Hazan's silence to the long work days and enthusiasm of the archaeologists. But the weather changed for the worst. News reports detailed some of the natural disasters striking the land. Rumors spread that the very same god Hazan had been interested in studying was behind some of the destruction.
Havard sighed and became extremely still as if pondering. Books and paperwork lay strewn about, forgotten. His mind drew deeply inward as he tried to expand his consciousness outward. He had placed walls within his mind to keep all others, save Hazan and himself, out. To allow much more would have led to madness. He searched for minds like his own, stronger than humans and pokémon alike. He discovered some, but continued on until he felt a disturbance. Their strong emotions, radiating their rage, finally reached him. He had felt something similar once before, when the ‘infant’ Jocosus had been spewed forth from his volcanic womb. And Havard did not like it.
And this time, it was all because of humans.
It made him angry. Hazan was probably in danger and it was Giovanni’s fault. This man seemed to have a bottomless wallet and a disgusting lack of regard for anyone but himself. That made him very dangerous.
Stronger than his anger for one human was his worry for Hazan. He had refused to go on a camping and archaeological trip for fun, but he would go now for his friend’s safety. Next time he would accompany his friend from the beginning.
Hazan, I’m coming.

Brazen Beats had picked up several new employees, and a huge customer base since Llyr had joined the store, and it seemed either he or Phee was there almost all the time, but that was normal he supposed being the owner and assistant manager and all. Still, a day off more than once a week would have been nice, though he did like his paychecks so he wasn't really complaining about the lack of personal time he had. He knew Phee was working on setting up her house and had recently befriended a young Celebi girl she had taken a liking to. So, when Phee came in and announced she was closing the store down for a time, unless he could recommend one of their other long term employees to help he was stunned.
"What do you mean you're closing the store for an unknown amount of time Phee? That's crazy!" "No, what's crazy is this weather. One day we're sunny, another it's a monsoon, another it's super windy...this isn't normal Llyr! I know you can sense that as well. Perhaps not as well as I can...but I feel it. My oceans are being wrecked because of this crap going on. I can't let it continue, I need to figure out what's going on." "By yourself?" "If I have to, yes. I'm going home, and I'm gathering up supplies for travel, and I'll find Cecily and let her know I'm going away for awhile so I won't be around to talk to...and you can run the shop how's that?"
Llyr looked at the shop...it was beyond crowded. He glanced outside, today was an amazingly clear, "normal" day. But she was right, things had been beyond weird lately and something needed to be done about it but...what? "You're not going alone. I'll go with you. We can get Tallulah and Abner to take keys and run the store. They know what they're doing, they're competent, they know all the procedures anyhow. Just tell her she can hire more people if she needs to and all."
Phee stared at Llyr for a long moment and broke into a smile. "Alright. Go pack a backpack with things and meet me at my house, I want to leave as soon as possible. I'll go talk to Tallulah and Abner before going home." handing over his set of keys Llyr dashed out the door to the surprise of customers, but the Butterfree teen had more pressing matters than social etiquette.
While Phee explained things to the pair and got their assurances they would do all they could, Llyr began to pack in earnest to make sure he was prepared. For her part, Phee back at her house went to the edge of the forest where she knew Cecily lived and cupped her hands to her mouth. "Ceeeeciiilllyyyyy. I'm hoooome!" she wasn't looking forward to telling the girl she was leaving for awhile, she was fond of her, saw her as something of a younger sister really. She was dreading this actually.

Ylerian had been in the city for a time, and had thanks to that woman in the alley learned the right way to mug someone and was getting along nicely. Still, this weather was making hard to get by comfortably. The extreme weather differences, getting rained on...it didn't appeal to her more...fastidious and prissy side. However, the training she'd had kept her from being as annoyed by it as she could have been.
Still, she'd been inside that store browsing, and taking advantage of having a rather air conditioned place to be when she heard the conversation between the Manaphy and Butterfree. One ear was cocked towards them...and when the boy went running Ylerian followed him out and seeing where he lived wasn't that far from where she called "home" made her way back to her own things.
So...something was going on was it? She smelled money, and profit...and so she grabbed her things, and waited for him....and before long Llyr was passing her by and judging by things meeting the girl he'd been talking to. Who...was rather loud she was noticing. The yelling hurt her ears, but she stayed hidden. If nothing else she'd rob them of their things later in the night while they slept. Other wise...well who knew what waited. She was quite curious though. Her time on the streets had started to erode the honor she'd been instilled with from birth.
Then again heritage and birth, and betrayal had already chipped away a lot of it...so maybe now it was just exposing a possibly rotten core.

It had taken nearly a week, but Myrrh was certain that the time for her revenge was soon; she was close, she knew it. It hadn’t been easy, it had taken a lot of hard work, or at least she told herself that. In truth, she had spent an afternoon quizzing one of her roommates, Honey, about legendary pokemon. The only ones that fit the bill were Tornadus, Thundurus, and Landorus. If the legend that Honey had told her was correct, Landorus was supposed to keep the other two in check and that was obviously not happening. It wasn’t just that though, the mention of Landorus sparked an ancient memory, from before she was locked into her rock. She had heard of a shrine to Landorus, though she had no idea where it was, nor did it appear to be on any map.
Still, it wasn’t that hard for her to figure out a general area for it to be located. Well, it likely would have been hard for her, but, after her talk with Honey, she had asked another roommate, Cascade, if all the weird weather had a center. She didn’t think there was any correlation and that it was just a coincidence, but she did use some fancy math to figure out an approximate, if large, possible center.
She had no idea what would specifically cause a pokemon like Landorus to start acting out, but it seemed likely it was humans; it was always humans. So, once the appointed time to meet up with Margarita had been reached, they set out for the local Office of Public Records, where they both now were. Perhaps some land had recently changed hands.
Steadying her Bulbasaur flashlight, well it was actually ‘borrowed’ but still was currently in her possession, she rummaged through another file. It had felt like they had been searching for ages. “Where is it? It has to be somewhere in here. Right?” she said to no one in particular, despite her companion being in earshot. They had to find it before this place opened! Maybe her Grimer companion was having better luck. With an annoyed sigh, she popped open another filing cabinet.
“That..that was scary,” Holly stammered as she pulled herself onto the shore, rain coming down all around her. Panting she laid back to rest, her hat still secure on her head. She may be a water type, but the sudden flood was so….sudden. It had caught her completely off guard. She had thought that she would have been safe up in a tree, but the water was just so powerful! It had ripped the tree completely out of the ground. She couldn’t be certain, but she was pretty sure she saw its roots. That was close.....
Closing her eyes, she felt on the verge of sleep; she felt worn out. This was not the time for sleep, though. She had to get moving; she had to figure out where the flood had taken her. While the rain didn't seem to be as strong, the weather overhead still looked much worse than where she had started. Had it brought her nearer the source?
Determined to find out where she was, Holly sat up; she had to get moving. Sticking a finger under her hat, she asked, “You alright in there Cardice?”
Her stomach now full, Terra happily followed her new friend deeper into the storm. The more she thought about it, the more her resolve firmed. While it might not be located in the worst area, her home was still under attack by the weather. She could either do nothing and let the weather decide what happens or she could take an active role. The danger of it concerned her; it would concern anyone, but she was in danger whether she acted or not.
During their meal, a TV happened to be on and was displaying the weather. It seemed to be getting worst and no explanation was being given. It wasn't even just the rain and lightning; areas were drying up, forest fires were spreading. For all she knew, if it kept up, her little cave home could vanish in the waves.
Reaching into her new utility belt, she confirmed that her emergency rations were still there; pocky that the pair had bought after eating. Well, Calcifer bought it, for the both of them. It was quite the stroke of luck she had. She met a new friend, one that helped her buy an utility belt and goggles as well as spurring her into action. If she had not met Calcifer, she probably would have headed back home, empty handed. She just hoped that the luck lasted into their adventure.
“It definitely is looking more stormy this way,” Terra observed, “This definitely seems to be the right way…what do you think Calcifer? And well, I know I said this before, but thanks again.”

It seems the break in has tripped a silent alarm and there's a security guard checking rooms out and is fast approaching Myrrh's location. The fact he's coming is given away by heavy footsteps, and a burst of static on a walky talky. What is she going to do? Please address this in your next post for her. (You can write as the guard, to get the post to go the way you would like.)
"BEL-LA-TRIIIIX!" Reshi bellowed, slamming his hands against the library door. "LOKI FROZE THE BATHROOM AGAIN! UNFREEZE IT!"
The young boy plopped to the ground, a loud, bark-like cough escaping his lips. How long had he been yelling for his not-mother? That woman had been in that library ALL DAY, and he was getting tired of it! He heaved a sigh, flopped against the crystalline floor of the castle, and groaned. The weather was still so bad...
Suddenly, the library door opened, and Bellatrix came barreling out. Reshi hopped up to shout at her for not listening to him, only to be pushed aside. A massive crack was forming in the floor where he had been laying... And before he knew it, Bellatrix had tumbled out of sight.
"Bell... Bella..." He said, leaning over the gaping hole, before he flung his head backwards. "LOKIIII! Bellatrix fell into a huge hole! I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO!"
---
Loki had heard the shattering of the glass and raced his way up the stairs. He could just about see Reshi's hair before more cracks began to form underneath him, causing him to tumble down just as Bellatrix had. He landed with a thud on the sandy ground below and groaned. The castle was strangely flimsy for a storm of this sort...
"Bellatrix, sweetheart!" He called, gazing around in the dark for the light of his girlfriend's flaming wings. "Are you alright? Can you hear me?"
After a while of wandering, he eventually found his way outside, and called up to an open castle window.
"Reshi! I don't see her anywhere out here!" He shouted. "Just hang tight little guy! I'm getting help!"
And with that, Loki took off for the forest, in hopes that someone would be able to help.
---
Bellatrix's fall had been quite painful, causing her to injure her wrist and ankle. However, despite her injuries, she had managed to crawl her way back to the bottom floor of the castle and into the kitchen. She leaned herself against the counter, sighed, and hustled to the staircase. However, as she ascended the stairs, several more cracks began to form, causing her to hover upwards. What was happening to her home!? This never happened before! All these cracks and broken glass, she had made her home as strong a steel! Why was everything breaking?!
"Reshi! Don't make any sudden movements!" She screamed, flying towards the younger legendary. "We need to get out of here before all of this collapses upon us!"
Without another thought, she scooped up the terrified boy and flew out the window, just as the entire hallway collapsed upon them. She hovered, her eyes filling with tears, and cradled Reshi carefully. However, her mind soon turned to panic.
"Loki?! LOKI!" She cried. "Oh, please! Loki! Are you alright?!"
Off in the distance, and stuck in a large mud puddle, called Loki. "I'm alright! Just a little stuck!" He cried as he desperately tried to free himself. UGH! His brand new boots, SOILED!

Fei sighed as he tilted his head from side to side. Confused about the direction again and tired he shoved his hands into his pockets and found a stump to perch on as he waited for the pull to get strong enough to guide him again. For him it came and went in waves, but he'd been following it as it came over the past few days after finding his clearing in ruins. It had started as a light rain before becoming a downpour that left him unable to see his feet in front of him. He'd weathered out the freak storm in a run-down shack, and by the time he'd gotten back to his home it had been wiped out by the sudden rise in the lake's volume from the rain. Hearing voices he looked up in surprise. That sounded suspiciously like...Brenny? He hadn't seen the celibi since his change, so he doubted that he'd be recognized. Still, he couldn't resist trying. With a smile he called out, "Brenny?"

In the week that had passed since it had been brought to light that something was definitely amiss with the weather, Margarita hadn't gathered any further knowledge on the bizarre occurrences. She honestly didn't think it was something that needed to be looked into, as a matter of fact. Bad weather happened all the time, didn't it? Why were people making such a big deal about it this time? Such was the naiveté of one brought up in the city sewers, though -- there were no weather patterns below ground to draw information from that wasn't merely dictated by the people that used the systems.
However, Myrrh seemed to have gotten it in her head that it was something that the two of them might be able to do something about. Take revenge on some rain clouds or something, that was as much as the young grimer could gather. How was one supposed to take on such a feat? It's not like they could climb up into the sky and give the storm a punch to the chin for striking Myrrh down with lightning. Margarita couldn't do that nifty floaty thing, either, so they couldn't just fly up there! And as proud as she was with her Fling ability, the girl doubted she could really chuck a rock that far skyward, though she wouldn't have been above testing the extent of that theory out...
Whatever they were doing at the city records building was beyond her. Something about a... storm owning land? Who really knew. Paprika, safely tucked away in a pants pocket, seemed to think Margarita was being a moron for not understanding the spiritomb's plan. 'Still stuck on thinking it was just a storm?' the salt shaker seemed to tsk in her head. Well... yeah! What else was she supposed to think?
Nevertheless, she trusted the judgement of most other people close to her above her own deliberations, even if the one that was silently scoffing at her was in her own head. They were looking for some piece of paper that was tied to a specific plot of land, that much she understood. Brushing a hand over the front of another steel filing cabinet, the grimer squinted slightly in the dark, if only because the label was handwritten by someone with less-than-perfect penmanship. "Hey, this one says it's from this month," she noted, digging fingernails through the top crack of the drawer. While she wasn't being noisy this time, her voice was raised above the average whisper, nigh oblivious to any approaching security.

Calcifer had only recently become aware of the baffling weather that had been plaguing the land. Her riverside business may have seen its fair share of fluctuating volumes of water, of raging and deathly still demeanors, but that's what it meant to live so close to the water. The river always seemed to have a life of its own, so for these little mood swings and temper tantrums to keep showing up only told the young hybrid girl that it was particularly cranky. Perhaps that had been a good indication that something was problematic, but for Calcifer to think that she could do anything to solve the problem of something so great, something with many thousands of years on her, was folly.
At the very least, it would have been, had it not been brought to her attention that it was probably not something natural. It was one thing to go against Mother Nature, quite another if it was just another pokémon. Even legendaries, as powerful as they probably were, could likely be reasoned with much better than some abstract concept of a spirit of life. However, there was no way of saying for sure that such a hunch were true until proper exploration was undertaken, but it was a good start. After all, how many stories of lore featured strange weather patterns conjured by a powerful pokémon? She probably had at least two books still in her possession with that as a general theme!
Calcifer nearly stumbled over a patch of debris, chewed up and spit back out from the storms that had recently tore their way across the landscape. Once she regained her composure, she stared back at the rubble, whistling at the damage; it seemed to have struck here worse than elsewhere she had since traveled. The wind began to pick up, causing the fire slug to brace herself against it before turning attention back to the road ahead. Upon hearing Terra's comment on the condition of the sky, Calci had no choice but to agree, "Yeah... it might get dangerous. Let me know when you want to head back, okay? I might forget that that's still a possibility if you don't remind me." She laughed, flashing a smile; putting on a brave face like that invigorated her determination a little more.
"You can feel that, too, can't you?" she asked, taking her steps at an even pace. She couldn't quite explain that feeling that they were headed in the right direction, as though a compass in her head were pulling her forth the pole. It just inexplicably seemed like the way to go. Towards what, though? Was she even supposed to be listening to this magnetic force? What if it was evil? What if she was the only one who was experiencing it? While the girl kept moving, the pins along her shoulders seemed to dance to the rhythm of the gathering storm in the sky.
She wouldn't say she was scared.

It hadn't been an extended amount of time, but the interval between the sudden appearance of what could be likened to a tsunami within the forest and now felt like a dizzying spiral to the small helioptile. Cardice's eyes were closed tightly, as though sight corresponded to what actually happened in reality: if he didn't see what happened, it didn't occur, right? No, he wasn't that foolish, but it was a small bit of comfort, at least for the time being.
The water was cold. The hat that the pokémon found himself curled up in, atop a mop of curly, ice-colored hair, didn't serve as a very efficient barrier against the wetness. It clung to his scaly body as though gift-wrapping him, but it was a preferred sensation to the limitless water rapids he would have had otherwise. He still had difficulty finding room to breathe, of course, but in holding his breath against the sudden surge of fear, the point seemed moot.
He couldn't remember when it was that he found himself located in Holly's hat, but he was glad for the happenstance. After all, once they fell from their once-safe perch in the tree, before it too was bowled over by the flash flood, there was no telling where he would have ended up. It must have been the piplup's quick thinking, once she grabbed hold of the small lizard, to stuff him in her hat. Unorthodox, for sure, but super effective!
Movements seemed to cease by the time Cardice accumulated the courage to peek out from beneath the soggy brim of the hat, spurred by the sound of his name. Wide-eyed, he took a glance around the area, <<W-Where are we?>> He peered behind where they were currently stationed, down the road carved by a river that disappeared as suddenly as it had developed. <<Aaah! I've n-never been this far... west? Is this west!?>> he asked in a panic, his sense of direction screwed up in the prior flurry, <<Stupid flash flood!>> Oh no, how was he supposed to find his way back home?
What was that all about, anyway? Where did the storm go? And woooah, what was this place? <<It feels... weird here...>> the helioptile murmured, eyes trained overhead as he sunk further under the hat.

Aybliss sat on the edge of the crumbling stone wall. He pushed his glasses up as he observed the chaotic energies around him. The youth looked calm for a few minutes before a slow rumbling chuckle left his slender form.
"This is going to be fun. I wonder what mischief I can get into today." he giggled as he leapt off the wall. His hands slipped into either sleeve as he made to walk down the road. Mentally wondering about the legendary and their siblings causing all this trouble. Seemed like some human went and did something stupid. He shook his head, humans. They were always the trouble. The youth bit back the growl forming before shaking his head. No use getting upset over measly human misconduct. They were good at that.
He sighed again before passing by a fork in the road...
It gave her chills to be out walking like this. As storm clouds continuously kept gathering over the horizon Raxka couldn’t help but to shudder as more static crawled down her spine. It felt delicious yet terrifying at the same time. So obviously she was loving every moment of it. Brushing a stray pink bang from her crystal gaze the girl turned towards her personal shadow and smirked, “Feeling it too, Rai?”
The other ampharos nodded slowly as electricity arched throughout his own body, “It’s really unusual.” His crimson gaze skimmed the trees as they walked along, his body poised for any possible threat. Most might have come to investigate to try helping out the lands or to solve the mystery from concern for others, but for his sister it was just an interesting way to pass time. Danger and mysteries absolutely thrilled her and so Raiden hadn’t even bothered protesting as she took them from the city and towards the forest. At first he had been chastised for having more intuition about the unbalance in the world. Was it something about how she was supposed to have the women’s intuition?
Breaking him from his thoughts was the heavy feeling of rain. More storms? Something really was wrong…already the road was soaked through and the ground was moist and wet from having received so much water. Oddly enough other places were dry for lack of water, but not of fire. A fire storm had even nearly gotten to a warehouse that they used. Their shadow leader had almost been upset when he heard the news. He had heard legends about the area and slowly pieces had been coming together now and the worry was replaced with intrigue. Maybe there would be something worthwhile from this trip. Unlike others who headed down the path it wasn’t unease which filled him, but rather excitement.
So it had been him who had made the call earlier that morning, “Why not investigate since things are starting to get really interesting now?”
After all Raxka wasn’t the only one obsessed with finding trouble. “Ace!” Raxka shook her head at the dark shadow jumping through the trees above them, “Always the acrobat, eh?” She flipped her hair over her shoulder impishly, “You know with all this rain and static it would be a d**k move if some electricity escaped around here~”
Tumbling gracefully out of the trees Tryce allowed his hands to brush against leaves and branches before landing next to Raxka, “It would be a d**k move.” He smirked, “But worse would be the distraction it would bring as I would have to find a way to let the electricity die down before moving on.” He winked playfully and the ampharos laughed with delight.
“Fine, fine. I won’t be that evil.”
Her laughter died as a harsh wind whipped through the trees and Raiden couldn’t help but to clutch at the katana hanging from his side, “Raxka, Tryce…be wary.”
The shiny umbreon nodded, “We really are getting into some fun aren’t we?” “Seems like it.” Raxka’s expression gleamed with interest, “I just hope it’s as good as the weather promises.”

Venka stared out the cave entrance; she had arrived as soon as the weather had started going crazy. Of course, she knew what, or rather, who was causing it. It was the why that she didn't understand, and it worried her. They had gone so long with the trio taking care of the forces of nature... until now. What had caused them to become so enraged? Surely they could sense the lives they were hurting, both human and Pokemon alike?
The storm raged, then subsided, then the winds picked up, all within a matter of minutes. Venka sighed and crossed her arms, holding her shoulders. The cave had been placed on a protective plane, separate and yet together with the one she was viewing. It was the owner of the cave, Escher's, doing. One of the perks of being a god of Space; he could warp the area around him. So here she was, safe and sound with him and two other Poke-humans under Escher's care. Those the others were far younger than either Venka or Escher, their current forms would suggest otherwise.
"I see it has not gotten any less violent," a gruff voiced called to Venka, causing her to turn towards the source with a start. It was Escher, the Palkia boy; he was coming to join her watch as Pyry and Emmerich were further back in the cave, most likely at Escher's orders to stay safe.
"No, sadly," she turned back as the weather continued its incoherent switching. "I think ve need to talk to them."
Escher sighed, weary from having to keep the sheltered plane in tandem with the other and with the fact that Venka was right. Something was very much amiss. " I agree, but I do not want to involve the younglings in anyway." He turned his head away from nature's onslaught towards the darkened part of the cave. "But, they must be kept safe." He turned back to look at Venka and took a hand in his own. "We must leave now, without saying anything. I can leave them on the plane, but it will be shut from ours until my return."
The Victini girl frowned, but nodded. She knew that they were essentially locking the boys up, but it was for their own safety. "Then let us go." Hand in hand, the two legendaries emerged from the shelter of the cave and into a heavy downpour. As soon as they had completely exited the cave, Escher discontinued his powers; causing the cave to look completely empty. It was no longer protected from the elements and the walls of the cave began to crumble. Venka gasped and brought both hands up to her mouth, "The boys," she managed.
"They are safe," Escher winced, rain pelting him in the face, "they are no long on this plane."
Venka nodded, still worried about the two they'd left behind. She took Escher's hand and could sense he was weak from having to use his powers for an extended period of time. With a tilt of her head and a small smile, they began the long walk to Landorus' shrine.

Jormungandr had been floating high above the chaos of the changing weather and destruction. He wore a perpetual smirk on his face as he watched the Pokemon and humans flee from one area to another, only to be trapped by a falling tree or burning path or crumbling ground. "Fools," he spat as he continued watching to his amusement. "This is why you do not anger a god!"
His tail twisted and flicked as he viewed the mayhem, like it was a television show. "I cannot say that I blame the old guys," he chuckled, crossing his arms and turning away from the mess for a moment. "If someone had angered me, I cannot say that they would get off this easily." He rolled in the air, now looking like he was lounging on his side, one arm propping up his head. He was already getting bored.
Jor yawned, this was entertaining for the first few days, now it was just getting sad... who throws a temper tantrum this long? And for what reason? Really, the latter question didn't interest him that much, but it was something to think about.
"Wonder where Nidhogg is," he wondered out loud as his bored mind wandered.

Here you go, in case I'm gone when my turn pops up. Thank you! <3
Riley gripped hard to the walls of the little shelter he’d found as the winds sliced through the surrounding land. His long blond hair whipped around his head, forcing him to clamp his eyes shut. It was all so windy and noisy and scary! He could feel the anger in the wind, yet, there was also... delight? Mother had said there were many gods. Maybe the one making the wind liked being destructive?
Oh, why couldn’t he go back home?! The child flashed back to the image of his parents looming over him. That’s right.. His brother was too good of a worker, and his sister was too precious to risk sending to appease the angry gods. Their farm was flooding one say, and facing drought the next! Some human had destroyed the god’s shrine, and now his parents needed to send someone to represent the family to help. Riley frowned at the thought. No one would miss him if he was killed in the chaos...
The wind died down, and his little blue ears twitched. The god must have turned his focus to another area.
Securing his pack that was filled with offerings and a few repairing tools, he needed a few minutes before he could get himself to leave his little shelter, his glowing tail a mild comfort in the dim light. The world was already scary, and the unseemly weather only made the world that much scarier. Why couldn’t he be more useful at home?!

Kirsi didn’t know what she was doing, but she was doing it! The small lake that she’d been napping in had been cool and calm. It had, so far, been a safe haven from the wild storms and raging winds. Then, it was suddenly shaking and splashing violently, a crack opened in the bottom, and there was a rush of heat as the water drained. Kirsi had only just managed to defend herself from the hot steam with her ice magic, having already been baked and bruised from previous disasters, and she’d been too slow to react.
Wondering how she was going to get back to another source of water, as the river that connected this lake to another was dried up as well, and the new crevasse was too hot to get near, she grinned at the sight of the tunnel that fed this lake. An underground spring! Wiggling her way over, she poked her head into the entry. To her relief, she could hear the gentle splashing of water as the last of the rumbling faded, and it didn’t feel hot like the crevasse did. Maybe down where the shaking had come from, she could find an answer to keep the rest of the lakes from draining like hers had! Pressing her lips together with determination, she slipped into the tunnel and into the darkness.
