As some of you know, I won the [Flynn's Plunder for 50 Demonflies] last week with the collaborative effort of 3 other guild members. I still have 22 Demonflies left (Larka generously returned 6 extras that she didn't need). So here is the massive giveaway! The thing is...I'm somewhat uncreative at times, so if you have any suggestions on next week's contest, please let me know! I'd love to hear from you guys. =) This will be a multi-week (or even month) event because there are so many Demonflies! I also want to give every member a fair shot, so please check back often! Current Demonfly Count: 7

General Rules:1. NO MULES because that is not fair to the rest of the guild.
2. You must have a soulbound backwings quest that uses Demonflies in order to participate. This is to minimize the risk of the Demonflies getting resold for profit. Please link to a screencap of your inventory or the Alchemy crafting screen. You may black out whatever info you don't want to share (gold count, other items, etc.) since I just need to see your username, avi, and the formula.
2a. After a few contests directed towards people with backwings quests, I will proceed to phase 2. The contest will then be open to entries from everyone. No backwings formula required.
2b. During phase 2, winners will receive the trade with the Demonflies. However, trade will not be completed until they have acquired a backwings quest!
Thank you to Piggyzhou for coming up with this brilliant compromise!
3. No begging or whining.
4. You may enter/win multiple contests! If you won Contest #1, you may still enter (or win) Contest #2. I will keep tabs on past winners, though.

Could you two please delete your posts? I'm not done setting up yet, and I had to go in a hurry last night. Sorry. sweatdrop Sphyxia I'm already gg at second post. No soulbound quests atm. Suggestion for a contest: Essay Writing Because freebies should never be obtained easy, esp those kind :> I had the second rule because I don't like the risk of someone selling a Demonfly for profit. The only way I can lessen the chance of that happening is by giving them away to people who will definitely be able to use it. It'll suck for those who are "saving for the future," but this is a multi-week or even month event. Maybe someone who isn't eligible at week 1 might be able to by week 5 or 6. ^^; Essay writing sounds interesting. Gotta think of a good topic. Maybe an interesting Alchemy story? Hm... VinaGal That's generous of you!! Maybe some critical thinking like math or something like that I'll have to ask Sharacia for help with that one. I've never been a math person. xP

Before my life got hectic, I ran the lotto numerous times with access to quite a lot of slates and Momo trusted me with that.

Here's 2 suggestions:
1) Obviously you're not giving away 22 demonflies at once, thus, the contest should be open first to those who have a soulbound quest.
After all, they are technically the ones who really *needs* it -- what if that's the only thing they're stuck on?
Then, after a couple or more contests have gone by, then open it to everyone else (but once again, at your discretion -- just because someone *plans* on using it, doesn't mean they will).
2) Allow those who do not have a soulbound formula to enter. BUT, the catch is you will not trade them the demonflies until they provide you with the formula. That way you're guaranteed they are honest about their intentions.
It would be a permanent promise that they'd get it (which I would be totally excited about if I didn't have a formula yet -- the knowledge that I've got XX demonflies waiting for me as soon as I get my hands on a formula).
