I'm Joyful Cornea... I've been a member of gaia since 2007. Haven't ever seen inflation this bad before. crying
I think this guild is a great idea and I hope it takes off.

its a good idea of a guild. but not entirely convinced how much itll help with every month more rigs like "piggy banks are being released.
there is a walkout going on sometime this month where almost 500 members have signed that they wont get online for a month. trying to get gaia to notice us lol
oh
and call me chad
i donate alot am fighting inflation

I received an invitation to this guild a day after I posted a thread in the SF about inflation and how gold has absolutely NO value anymore. I like the idea of this guild. Not sure how affective it'll be with only 15 members, but I'm sure we'll grow.
Is there a banner for this guild yet? Something I can put in my signature.

I, too, have been affected by Gaia's terrible inflation. Being a member on and off since '06, I have seen some of Gaia's best and worst moments. I'd love to see it get back on track.
However (there's always a however,) with the big bad CEO in control and the real plans behind Gaia making it's money, you all do realize this site will be closed by 2016, right? I just wanna make sure you're aware of what a waste of time Gaia is now. I'm not saying give up, what you're doing is great and I support it whole-heartedly... But it is a waste of time and effort in the long run.

I have been a member since NOV 2003
I have wondered on and off of gaia due to life. and am back on now because I can foresee I will be having some free time for a while.
to put some things in perspective, back in the day before towns, fishing, and so on we just had to talk at each other and slowly earn gold, polls where the fast way to generate gold and there was a time restriction to how fast you could post) and the hardest items to achieve in the shop was the fairy wings 40,000 gold. and the impossible thing to purchase was the golden halo which was the first collectible item.

hey guys~ im lord couch, but ignore my username, i made it a long time ago T-T on other sites my name is Ninjakid0104, but whatever name works XD i joined gaia in 2010 (my 5th year now) and things are really getting out of hand... i cant really buy much anymore because of the inflation and it seems like gaia doesnt really care...
*cough cough* gcash spam announcements *cough* expensive prem. items*cough cough cough*
anyways, cool to find a guild that thinks the same as what i think smile nice to meet you guys
i'll be gradually donating more and more to this guild over time~

Hello, everyone! I'm Pie! ... or, well, I WAS Pie.
I joined way, way back in '03, referred by a friend who is now an admin. At the time, though, the site took FOREVER to load on my connection, which made it really hard to get into. So... I didn't! I kinda just turned around and left. Alas, hindsight is 20/20.
I came back at the end of 2006 and was delighted to find my old account was still here. I was quite the active Gaian then! The pinnacle of my Gaian career came with the launch of zOMG, where I was part of the original crew of six to defeat the endboss. I played a pure Healing/Support role, back when that was a useful thing to have in the party. There was a bit of a joke about the torrid romance between myself and Labtech X, due to him constantly aggroing me, unable to pay attention to anyone else on the battlefield. He never returns my calls, though.
I ended up losing interest for a variety of reasons, one of which was feeling kinda bitter about things after Hurricane Irene knocked out my internet and caused me to miss the end of Pie Hard (THE EVENT THAT WAS MADE FOR MEEEE) and the associated achievements.
I came back recently to find out about this "deactivated account" silliness. Guess I'm stuck on this mule for a long, long time... between how much Gaia has gone to the dogs, though, and how long I'll have to wait for my main back? I'm wondering if it's even worth it.
Anyway, nice to meet you all. I'm proud to contribute to this.

This inflation is so ridiculous, and it's not fair to the mass population of gaians trying to purchase from the MP or purchase anything at all without having to run in to the ridiculous millions/billions they have to pay for one item. I want to see this inflation stop. Thanks! heart
