Langely never really wanted to be an assassin or expected to become one. Her family wasn't connected to the guardians and she never once gave one hundred percent during her training. In fact, she was often hiding from her superiors rather than training. However, they could never find her. This skill is what helped her become an assassin. One day while she was away from the academy she met and individual named Mollec. Lane grew to see him as a father figure and eventually he adopted her. She befriended a boy named Tobias during her time at the academy. In fact the first time the two met was in an air vent. Both were hiding from their class, they decided to sneak out of the academy and went on a dangerous mission to kill time. The two returned successful but got in trouble for ditching class and taking equipment without asking. Despite this on her record she was top of her class in the espionage field, it was decided Langley would become an assassin.
With the added threats of her superiors, Langley became a top notch assassin. She devotes all her being into completing a mission. But Langely is never addressed by her full name on a mission. She typically is known as Lane. A chosen few do know her full name though. She suppresses all her emotions and any outside distractions. She becomes a completely different person.
