I know that now, we don't call them as often as we used to, we're mostly adults now (at least most of us are) and we understand that life can be a b***h and everything. I mean, we know we're all busy, but at the same time, the other person shouldn't get the penalty and has the right to get the match going if the other person's activity hurts the whole experience. So I was wondering: what's your take on autohits now compared to a few years ago and why do you call them as often or not as often as before?
Also, I was wondering, what's your take on calling an auto-hit on your own partner? Like, what if you're in a tag match, your partner is semi-active and it starts to hurt the match, so you tag in but a few days later, he didn't reply. From one side, his activity hurts the match as a whole and ruins the experience for more than just your opponents, but also people he should be cooperating with. But at the same time, it makes things look weird when it seems like partners are trying to step on each other's toes. So, what would be your call in that kind of situation?

I typically don't call auto-hits unless it's a title match. Even then, I make exceptions. If my opponent lets me know that they got s**t going on, I'm more than willing to not call the auto. However, if it's someone that's generally active and I see them active elsewhere, I'll typically call it or at least quote them in a new post so they see the match, and it's known that I'm trying to keep it active.
All in all, I know there are a lot of people who don't like to call autos. They think it's rude. However, it is a rule we've all adapted to simply because it helps keep things moving. Right now, that's what we need in the community. A lot of places I look, activity is falling into a lull again. Even I'm guilty of not being as active as I could be (love life is taking a priority, sorry guys). I think autos are necessary. If you're not going to auto, PM your opponent and check to see what's up. And if you're not gonna do that, at least hit up the booker so that they know it's not a you thing.
As for the tag team, I'm totally on board with it. If three people are waiting on one guy, it's not fair at all. If the partner is going for that tag, I say let it be done. They can cope with being put as the inactive man, especially if they aren't dedicating the same amount of energy to the match.

Auto-hits, Non-Tag: if its for a title match or if it is a pivotal plot-driven match, I will call the auto. Beyond that, I really don't try to.
Auto-hits, Tag: What should be the appropriate action is after two days, you can take control until their return.

It always depends on the person, as it was said before if they're telling me that they've got s**t going then I'll let it go. If they don't contact me I'll just go with the auto-hit. Normally I try do the quote-trick so they at least know I'm posting. If nothing is occurring then I'll just use it. Plus getting the match going of course is something that is needed at times.
What gets to me is when they don't post for about 4+ days and I'm stuck at a sell post instead of my guy attempting something. I'm not sure whether to just use the auto-win there or just contact them and keep waiting for a response.
However I've always enjoyed completing matches, so it's just my problem of getting impatient. Plus I'm sort of an old school guy, ((2007 old school sweatdrop )) and I'm kinda used to pretty good activity from most guys.

I should be using it more than I currently do, and it should become the standard.

Whether it's that or talking through Skype.

I don't really auto-hit unless I am angry.
