How about we all just drop this giving DB ideas, I mean come on, if he wanted ideas he would ask for it. So let the guy work and stop the crazy ideas.

I agree. If people stop bugging him about their ideas or wanting to be in his comic. He could focus more on making it.

DracoShinigami-I just want to point out something about the asking to be in the comic point. Its against the rules to ask, and so far, only one person has been banned for asking. I'd say that says something quite powerfully about that point, so that no longer is much of an issue.
But yes, new ideas are definately not needed as he's not going to listen to them.

{~{ Our greatest glory is not in never falling,
You see those pictures pf the fighting scenes of Sedit entering Astomos's castle? They aren't there just to look pretty you know. They are there to tell a story. Dragonsbld wanted those pictures to tell a story. He may find a good sounding story idea in this guild, but he has to right to not include it in his comic, because it is a single, developing story, not a collection of short stories that have little to do with each other. Plot development added from different people will only slow it down and ruin it.
And about asking to be in his comic: The main characters in the story are DB's own creations and they tell the story. They are not people from Gaia, they are not people from other TV shows. Of course, DB may occasionally toss in a guest character like the healer Sedit visited as he sees fit. Sedit's wings were injured and he needed a healer to look at them. DB may have taken this as an opportunity to throw in a friend to play as the healer, and there you have it. I doubt that Sanahra didn't even ask! Oh, and don't forget orlanahelmes, she was randomly thrown into the comic and I think she said that she didn't ask. So if you be a good boy/girl and stay quiet but in notice, maybe DB with throw you in.
If DB answered every request to be in his comic, the comic will get seriously messed up and filled with people. It will be filled with so many people you won't be able to tell who is who and this from that. It's easier to work with a smaller cast of characters, so leave him alone.
But in rising every time we fall. }~} {~{ Confucius }~}

I understand that kind of stuff but the ideas that are thrown out are, in my own words, rediculous, I don't see why that some ideas are even brought up. I'm simply saying that if he wants ideas he can come out and ask and not have these random people give ideas that have no value to the story.
Being in the comic is something that should never be asked, if the author wants you in the story than they will put you in the story. So that is a no brainer, YOU ASK YOU DON'T, thing. I mean everyone wants their 15 mins of fame, and it's stupid to think that anyone would want to. You'll get your glory some how if it's not one way it will be another.

Agreed but you have to realized that because off all the people on the earth or in the universe that we want to have our name stand out for as long as possible, like American Idol, or any reality shows. Hollywood can't think up anything new so they find a way to make fun of people who want their name to be remembered.

It's not only the fact people suggest ideas, which could be forgivable, but they give some of the most idiotic ideas I've ever read. I swear some of these ideas could make a brain-dead monkey cringe. If someone were to say something sane like, "A mysterious women watches from the shadows, following Sedit," I wouldn't mind. But ideas like, "They all make rainbow cakes and OMG, I appear! blaugh " are the epitomy of stupid. But I'm not the creator, my opinion counts for nothing.

If he really hated suggestions, he'd have deleted the Suggestions for the Comic thread. Also, if he really did hate it, he'd stop replying there. stare

I'm just saying that the request for their ideas to be used, or their avatar to be used is kinda bull. ninja And I do admit I was one of the requesting people to have my avatar used. Though the second I hit send, I regetted doing it at all, guess it's one of those look before you leap. Though I love the take you did on that kind of request.
