I just signed this not long ago. There will be a drop out of people on gaia for at least a few days. Its going to start on June 15 to 21. Gaia might start to hear people out on this issue due to inflation and everything like that. A sudden drop in logins should help.
But if you are one of those people who have to get on daily, I wouldn't recommend signing. I am the same way, but I'm sick of seeing 10 announcements daily about the Cash shop updates as well as sales.
I wish it was back to the good old days, where GCash items were about 60 to 40 GC.
