Marching her way purposefully through the forest, Catreena seemed to know exactly where she was going. Even despite the trees and foliage growing so dense that it was hard to see beyond, she seemed to follow a path known only to her. So abruptly did they come across the lake that she hardly stopped before tugging the human boy in front of her and giving him a direct shove toward the water with both of her palms against his back.

Aiden was getting tired of her dragging him along like a child. He was just about to yank back to free himself when she swung him around and tossed him into some water. He barely had time to draw in a quick breath before he was under the surface, though it wasn't long before he pushed himself to the surface. He glared at the nymph as he tread the water. "What was that for?!"

The dryad almost look disappointed to see him surface. "How dare you say that humans are more intelligent than anyone! Humans almost ruined the Earth not just for themselves, but for all other life on this plant! You have no right to be so arrogant!"
Clenching her fists at her sides, she glared at him. "You said the better clothes a person has, the better off a person is. I just thought maybe your clothes should reflect just how wreched you really are!"

Aiden rolled his eyes are her arguments. "Did I say humans were more intelligent that ANYone? No, I said animals. Do you see animals doing math and science? Do you see animal doctors? No? Then I rest my case. Stop being stupid."
He then gave her a smirk. "You know, wet clothes are good too."

"I'm not stupid, YOU'RE stupid!" she cried, picking up a piece of driftwood at her feet to throw at him. Luckily, it seemed her aim was awful. "Math and science are things your kind made up! That doesn't make them intelligent things! All other life had survived just fine before your made-up nonsense came along!"
Oh, what she would have done to wipe the smirk off that smug face at that moment. "What do you mean, they're good too? Wet clothes are useless except for making you sick. And I hope they do, too!"

"And what about doctor's huh? How many animals can save anothers life with surgery?" To be honest, Aiden was more then willing to agree about the math, who needed it anyway? "How many species have been saved because humans came up with a cure against a plague that effected them?"
He stuck his tongue out at her. "They just are, obviously you wouldn't be able to understand since you still know nothing." That might have been more teasing then he meant it, maybe the dip really had cooled his head.

"That's where you cross the line," Catreena answered. "Lives don't need to be saved; sometimes it's just a creature's time to die. But no, you can't accept that, so you have to alter the natural course of things! That's where you go wrong. Some beings - especially humans - aren't meant to live as long as you do." She made a face. "Besides, you are often the reason that plagues and other unnatural sickness overtake wildlife in the first place."
Staring at him for a good few seconds, the nymph turn around, began to walk away...and then came back with a running head start before diving into the lake. Once submerged, she grabbed at Aiden's white coat and attempted to take it from him while still underwater.

"Ha! You say that like you know each creatures fate. 'Oh this squirrel broke a leg, I guess they should die' or 'Oh this cat was bit by a dog, I guess it should just die'. Like everything in this world doesn't have a right to fight to live, like everything should just roll over and die!" His glare came back as his temper rose again. "Can you even hurt? Can you bleed? Do you know pain and lose? Or are you just some sort of creature that has no feelings other then to blindly follow along with some mythical 'mother nature'?"
When she dove in with him ad tried to take his coat he lashed out in reflex with a kick. She should be thankful that Souji had reverted into his ring form when he had been tossed in other wise he might had accidentally attacked her with him.

The kick knocked the air from Catreena's lungs and she swam back to the shore in a hurry, coughing up water on the way. Once she had managed to stop coughing enough to catch her breath, she tried to kick some water at him resentfully. "If a creature has a strong will to live, it will live! It doesn't need some 'doctor' to help it. Thanks to those 'doctors', the weak continue to live, only to suffer with their miserable lives. You may think you're helping because you have a fear of death, but for other beings, death is a mercy. Most beings who understand that life and death is a circle and must be kept in balance, but humans refuse to be a part of that by attempting to defy death by living as long as they can!"

Aiden just ignored the kicked water, not like ti would have done much anyway since he was completely soaked. "You never answered my questions." He said with a smirk. "If death is a mercy then I suppose we should just go ahead and kill everything. Plants, animals, monsters, humans, doesn't matter, lets kill everything." He said with his voice heavy with sarcasm.

But you don't KNOW that is the time it is supposed to die! Who directs that? Is there some kind of being directing fate? Or is it just random and you are looking at it wrongly?" Aiden pointed out. "You don't know what it is." He said with a flat look. "You don't have proof for either way so maybe you are letting those die who's 'time' isn't supposed to be up."

"I...I...I think it should be easy to tell!" Catreena answered uncertainly. "If something is suffering, it's best to put it out of its misery. If it's going to get better, it'll get better on its own. You don't need to interfere." She frowned. "Just who do you think you are, anyway? The king of humans?"
