April 30th is pretty much the same as any other day for me. Every day is a day full of children for me, since I'm a nanny by trade, and possibly for my sins- which are, rest assured, numerous and varied. blaugh But this seems like a good day to jump back into the guild, regardless!

Is Children's Day even celebrated in America? I've heard of it, but not as an American holiday.

I was unaware this day was a thing. I've always considered April 30th to be the day everyone on Facebook posts the old JT picture with the caption "It's Gonna Be May".

LOL so basically, this date is when in some states it's celebrated "the day of the children" here in my country, parents or older ppl give children candy, toys or make parties or so for them to enjoy

Yup, Mexico.
Internationally, the children's day it's celebrated on June's 1st and Globally it's about November 20th, but because of National Festivities, we take the national day on April's 30th.
Also, many other countries takes this festivity on different dates, but usually it IS a festive day, proclaimed to the well-being of children :3
