That might be what the statue is, but Death came for them and the Angel of Death is one of the names for Death. Since it was a Weeping Angel that was the warning omen that is why I used that particular name for Death instead of call him Death or the Grim Reaper.

Obviously it was a death omen and the babysitter failed to heed it's warning. ******** dumb broad. The parents recognized it for what it was or at the very least figured something was very wrong, but unfortunately they were too late. The babysitter called them too late for her and the two kids to make it out. I wonder if she got possessed by a demon at sometime during or after the parent or police calls and killed the kids followed by herself but in a way that didn't look like suicide. I guess Hunters can't stop every demon and monster before it's too late, but at least they do stop them eventually. I guess Dean and Sam were too busy stopping the apocalypse when that happened.
