[ THIS ORP IS OPEN TO ANYONE BUT BEWARE SUFFERING OF THE ZOO KIND ]
Out on the grounds a certain raum demon sat looking, as usual, morose.
Several feet away from him, an entirely different demon was wandering aimlessly around, looking, as usual, as though he didn't quite belong there and really should have been somewhere else, but hadn't exactly made it anywhere. He was currently absentmindedly winding leaves together with flowers to make yet another flower crown.
Meanwhile Xavier was trying to read but that was failing miserably.

Xavier wasn't the only one morose, as Shun was sitting up in a tree, with his arms crossed over his chest. The one eyed reaper wasn't doing anything in particular at that moment, aside from merely keeping to himself. A few things were going on through his mind. The recent events and whatnot.
Flying overhead, a certain red dragon was enjoying the good weather, soaring about and having fun.
Because Jericho knew what fun was. Unlike Shun.

Sad birdy sighted.
Flopping rather unceremoniously next to Xavier, Eldrid lounged around for a moment, before leaning against him to look at the book, trying his damned-est not to get any sparks or flammable material on the book. He secretly wished he could hold one long enough to read it before he set it on fire . . .

It would seem morose characters drew other morose characters, though as morose characters went, it was probably a product of unfortunate circumstance rather than any innate urge to get together and socialize. At least, Efflo was thinking it was fairly unfortunate, as he stumbled into the group with a surprised snort, what he had assumed would be a quiet and pleasantly lonely walk turning suddenly into socialization central. It was his own fault really, lost in thought and not particularly paying attention to where he'd been going, but it didn't stop him from swishing his tail in a particular display of irritation. They were blocking the pathway. His pathway.

Amrita walked out of the school and onto the grounds, where, apparently, there was a healthy amount of chaos going on. Creatures were flying, elementals were trying to sabotage each other...and honestly? It was just another day at school. A good one, it seemed.
"Friendly as always, I see." The patchwork ghoul said out loud, her tone amused, as she looked up - and up - to see the reaper sitting in the tree.

Fortunately (or maybe it was unfortunately) for Llyr, he only noticed the sudden heat and not that someone was actually attempting to do something untoward to him because that wouldn't be very nice now would it. So he did what he normally did when it got too hot and promptly shifted without looking up, turning into a watery version of himself and then back again.
Then he turned around, blinked, and said curiously, "Who are you all?"
Xavier, in the meantime, gave a terrified squeak and tossed the book altogether.
"A b-b-b-b-book!" he half whispered, horrified until he realized that it was only Eldrid that was talking to him and not some random person passing by who happened to see him. Cheeks aflame with embarrassment, he reached for his book, only to find out that when he'd jumped in surprise, the book had flown out of his hand and bonked into some student with green hair.
Oops.

Aisha was brand new at school but was always up for a bit of exploration. She'd stopped on her walk, lost in the 'unfunfunf' pounding from her headphone, and watched as a fire elemental and a water decided to duke it out. She was smiling, head bopping noticably, and very obvious about the fact she was staring at the show with her firey orange gaze.

Meanwhile, Maple had no idea how she had gotten to this particular part of school. Wasn't she headed to the library? Perhaps she had been lost in thought or something.
She debated turning around.

Hamika was outside. What sorcery was this? To be honest since the whole WONDERLAND game dream, she'd been spending less time in her dorm room and more time outside. Helped keep her grounded in reality as best it could.
She walked past the group, and found a nice patch of ground to sit on and watch the world around her.

Hearing a familiar voice below, Shun glanced down to see Amrita at the base of the tree. The reaper shrugged lightly at her. "Not a whole lot of sense in being friendly," he said nonchalantly. At least not to strangers. Those close to him were a completely different matter. And even then... His gaze flicked to further off, noticing a bit of chaos happening between some of the other students in the vicinity. He just slowly shook his head to himself.

This was Amityville, the school where anything could happen and everything was quite possible. Therefore, it wasn't impossible when right on the school grounds, in front of the students materialized two doors. Exactly two doors, of equal distance apart. Both were open.
The one on the left was a blue door, it reminded those who were of Wonderland and even those of not of good memories and happiness. It was a stable sort of happiness, bland and predicting and frankly not all that exciting, but it was also expected. It was the feeling of doing the right thing, the feeling of self sacrifice and making decisions without choice. A singular path, the path that was just. The path of a hero. The left door radiated and anticipated the feeling of certainty and protection.
The door on the right was as ominous as it looked, entirely dark and cold. It was a different feeling altogether, devoid of the first door. Something whispered within it and it felt like a promise, it felt like something more. Temptation. Power. It offered everything. It offered a way to save others, it offered a way to save themselves, it offered pure power and it offered the truth. But behind those words the undertone was clear. It offered something far greater but asked also for a greater price. The right door anticipated the feeling of uncertainty and revenge.
OOC All players can pick a door! Once they have done so we'll get started. This RP will branch off depending on the door picked. NOTE: If you pick the right door there is SEVERE suffering ahead, on the same level as Hunter suffering, really. If you are okay with this, then please do pick the right door (it is more interesting!) but only if you feel it is a good IC fit for your character. Otherwise the left door will be pretty mild but also offer insight into a small story. Once again this orp is open for ALL and all rpers who enter have a chance to follow up with this in the future. A chance.

Shun stared as the two doors showed up. A blue and black door. Emanating feelings of protection and revenge respectively. "...Really. Really?" he asked to no one in particular. He let out a heavy sigh. "The artifacts just can't stay quiet, can they?" he shot towards Amrita.

things like materializing doors really shouldn't happen with Alecto around. Her ears perked up and eyes widened. Suddenly she stood still, rapt with attention at the new stimuli to toy with. [Is that a good idea?] (Let's go! Jack, let's just go on that door full of doom and gloom--) [You know that's about the most Jacking stupidest idea I've heard all day right--] The voices inside her head began to chatter in the ghoul's head.
She tried to step toward the right door, but immediately shuddered at its aura. It was better to walk through the left door.

"Point seen, but I still disagree." The ones that horsed around were either too young to have series worries, or had opted to use the rowdy fun as a means of escaping said serious worries. Either way, she envied them.
Then, suddenly, there were doors. One radiated with calm and the other--the other---
It took her a little too long to realize that Shun had said something to her, and she slowly, hesitantly, tore her attention from the black door to look at the Reaper.
"Guess not." She sighed, trying to laugh it off but failing. She felt a strange sense of both dread and extreme familiarity with one of the doors, and in all honesty, it was drawing her to it. The one legacy that had dogged her for years.
One of the students had already taken off into the uninviting Black door, and the patchwork looked a little more panicked the next time she glanced at Shun.
"We should follow them. Try to keep them safe."
