I've been wanting to wax for the longest time. Damn leg hairs are thick, hoping waxing thins them out.

Scarletgreen Professionally or home-kit? What kit? I've been wanting to try for so long. gonk I went to an aesthetics salon and it was only $15 So I did it professionally. I've never had it done so I didn't wanna do a home kit xD
@Insay, it's worth it! Legs are more expensive, but it'll feel so much nicer than shaving, and you only need to do it every few weeks. Everyone is different though 3nodding
@Joe: Seek professional help lol

I've always wanted to get stuff waxed but too afraid too. My aunt tried getting her mustache waxed and the wax was too hot so, aside from burning her skin, she got a thin layer of skin removed .. her top lip was a darker shade for a month lol

But it doesn't hurt for me. It's a second of sting, then they press the area to stop the pinging of pain receptors. It's weird, but it helps. The worst part was the stickiness I felt afterwards from all the cooling gel that was used, and I had to hold my arms up every so often lol

The worst part was the stickiness I felt afterwards from all the cooling gel that was used, and I had to hold my arms up every so often lol Jold arms up for? Why? Huh? D: Walk me through the whole process, yes? Maybe then I'll get the courage crying Because the cooling gel just got sticky and when your skin feels sticky you tend to seperate it, right? Well that's how I am lol
I walked in a seperate room from everyone else, took my shirt off and wrapped up in a towel (since I didnt have a tank top, darn it) You lay back and raise your arms up. I showered that morning and didn't put deoderant on because I was pretty sure they wouldn't want that. And I was right, she was glad I didn't o: Pretty sure it's because your skin will be too slick and the wax won't stay and stick to the hairs.
She cleaned my skin, and then put the wax on. It wasn't hot at all, for me. Then she puts the cloth strips over the wax immediately, and it cools down. Rips the strips off, and immediately applies a clean stirp and holds pressure so you don't feel the pain. Repeat until all hair is gone. Any hairs that are too small to be picked up by the wax, she just used tweezers and plucked them. 3nodding
Overalll easy and almost painless. I recommend it.
