I was friends with a guy on here. He wanted more I didn't. He got jealous because I made friends with someone he didn't "approve". We haven't talked in like 6 months and now he messages this friend and starts telling them all kind if lies about me. Luckily my friend told him to go away and stop.
What could be a reason for this? I started to message him but I was so angry and thought he wanted attention and chose to just ignore him.

he got jealous.
i think he does want your attention, and he is willing to get it anyway he can.
he is angry.
there are missing parts in you story though... so i can't honestly give you my opinion.

I dont like how he knows who ur friends are also I wouldnjust ignore him

Dunno sounds like a person with larger personal issues. Probally the sort of thing you just want to ignore and not feed into.

1. Anyone who treats you like that either online or offline you should just ignore.
2. Why do you care what he says about you? If he wanted to be in a relationship with you, and it didn't work out it didn't work out and now talking about you behind your back further proves that his opinions don't matter.
