A crumbling stone tower in the darkest corners of the Land of Stone. It gives off a feeling of dread. Local folklore says that children used to be abandoned here and that their ghost still haunt the tower to this day.
Special: Close Quarters- Not a lot of room in here, you can't summon large things or do techniques that require you to go airborne. Creepy- You receive a -2 to all will saves that do not include running out of the tower like a scared little girl. Abundant stone. Nowhere to hide except the shadows- Minus eight to all stealth checks.

 Hiru finally arrived at his destination after a long voyage through the land of stone. It was a bit unusual, but the parameters of his mission had been only superficially explained to him before he was dispatched. As far as he knew, the coordinates that were given to him lead him to a tall stone tower in very decripit shape that was now standing before him. Qualifying it as eerie was probably as big an understatement as could be found to describe the structure, but still, Hiru was a swordsman of the Hidden Mist, it would certainly take more than something like this to scare him...
...right?
Trying to feign indifference, Hiru pushed the tower's entrance door open to gain access to its interior. As creepy as this was, rumours of missing children certainly warranted a thorough investigation.

Upon Entering the tower.
Will Save DC: 6+25=31
Awareness DC: 16+27=43
If you fail the will save the inside if the tower is beautifully furnished in a Victorian style playhouse motif. There is a little girl at a table having tea with a little boy and several toys strewn about the room. There is a fire going as well. when you walk in the little girl gives you the hush symbol and points to the stairs leading upwards. Also, if you fail the Will save, the Awareness DC goes up by 20.
If you pass the Will save you see that the tower is a decrepit and run down place that should have been torn down ages ago. Apparently your target has rigged it up to explode given some of the hardware that you see laying about.
If you pass the awareness check you see a white boot slip out of sight up the stairs as you enter.

Result: Failure
Hiru was very surprised by the beauty of the room he had just stepped in; especially given the poor state of the exterior of the building. The room looked like a wealthy kid's play room; and actually had two small children playing around a small table at its center. It was most likely that these kids were captive at the moment, and Hiru certainly wanted to wrap this up before any harm could come to them. Not wanting to scare them, he gave them as reconforting a smile as he could, hoping to prevent unnecessary panic that would complicate any rescue attempt, should it prove necessary.
Thinking it might have been because of his friendly aura, Hiru was relieved to see the young girl apparently cooperating with him. After she asked him not to make any noise, she pointed to the stairs, most likely where their captor was located at the moment. Heeding the girl's warning, Hiru moved up discretely and silently,

 Diplomacy check: Roll[9]+21=30 A man [clone] came to the top of the stairs. "So, I am supposed to be afraid of you and your big sword?" Behind him ten other copies of him had bows aimed at Hiru. "Walk downstairs have a seat at the table with the kids, and lets talk. I'm not going to delude myself into telling you to leave the weapons to the side, we both know that we don't need weapons to fight, but I would like to hope that honor exist among shinobi even in a time like this." The real Dragon was up in the rafters ready to ignite the flame arrow he had loaded and blow the place if need be. Hiru was a bit surprised to see about ten archers aiming arrows at him, although given the fact they were all perfect replicas of each other he had no trouble deducing they were most likely nothing more than images hiding one true threat.
Not wanting to try his luck at attacking one of them, he favored trying to discuss calmly with the kidnapper to see if a diplomatic solution could be reached to settle this matter. Being invited to sit down at the table, he complied without resistance, pulling a chair for his host to invite him to join his company. "Do not worry, Dragon-sama, even though my large partner might not give give off this impression I have no desire of anyone having to resort to violence today.", he told the shinobi with a calm and steady tone.
"I've simply heard you might have been subject to... painful... past experiences. I can actually relate to some extent. I've simply been asked to see if there was a way to help you, to get you out of this prison you've made for yourself", Hiru explained, pointing to the elaborate decor they were surrounded by.------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Interesting note: I have now rolled a total of 14 on a possible maximum of 60 in three rolls. Talk about digging yourself into a hole!

 HP: ??? CP: -110/??? MHP: ??? Diplomacy: 17+21=38 The man's clone sat at the table. Then illusionary children got up and ran upstairs. He then went into a speech, "War is a terrible thing swordsman. Worst of all is that we must send our own men into it. We lose friends and family because somebody that has higher privilege than us demands that we spill our blood for their cause, lying and telling us who our enemy is and that they will strike if we don't do it first. Its a giant game of chess. Otogakure meant to rid themselves of that loss. They stole us away from our homes and bases during the war and attempted to brainwash us. They wiped our slates clean and gave us new names in hopes that we could replace their armies, but when the madness set in they deemed us failures and locked us away. A slaughter ensued and we took over the laboratory. They locked us in there, but the food lasted us a while. When that ran out and began to spoil the bodies kept us alive ... the smarter ones among us began to cultivate some plants from another experiment in order to sustain ourselves. The madness grew worse in some of the others. Our numbers shrank. I seemed to be the only one regaining any sense of sanity, and the closer I came to it, the further my allies drifted from it." He stared at Hiru and said, "I have no intentions of going back to that life, nor do I plan on dying today swordsman. I hope you can understand. Maybe when you wake up you will finally be capable of free though." The clone stood up and the others came downstairs. His eyes flashed as he did a few hand signs. While not showing any horrible visions or disrupting the person’s perception directly, it causes the person to think things he or she would normally find unthinkable; murdering their own family, killing their closest friend, betraying their lover. The stronger the user of this jutsu is the more the person is consumed by this terrible thought, and the more it damages their psyche. Cp Cost: 15 + 5 per turn the technique is continued. Very quickly, Hiru realized his interlocutor was sinking farther and farther away with every word. With all the diplomacy he could have mustered, there was no way to bring him back to reality in his current state. Speaking of reality, Hiru couldn't help but recognize an all to familiar tingle in his hypothalamus, as thoughts of murder, death, and despair began to creep up in his mind.
Save 1: Will DC 35
Hiru's attempt: d20 [07] + Will [22] = 29
Result: Failure
Being caught off guard, Hiru realized he was being assaulted by genjutsu a second too late, having let it get a firm hold on his subconscious before he could manage to fight it back. Various urges of vicious bloodlust started popping up in his mind, significantly unsettling him.

As if he wasn't having a hard enough time yet fighting the illusion that had a firm grasp on his mind, in a strange tactic it was released to be cast anew. Not being an expert on genjutsu, Hiru was deeply unsettled by the maneuver and once again fell prey to the disturbing thoughts this unsettling genjutsu conjured in his brain.

Attack 1 and 2

Knowing full well he had to get rid of these disturbing thoughts before his opponent's madness would find a way to creep up on him, Hiru used the classic manner in getting rid of genjutsu. Taking a moment to concentrate, he brought his hands together before his face and abruptly attempted to break the flow of chakra in his body while conjuring his will to force it away.
Genjutsu Kai (Genjutsu Release)
 The user attempts to break the chakra circulation flow in his body in order to see through a genjutsu. You can also use this technique on someone else. Cp cost: 10 Dice Rolls: 2 Rolls Damage: N/A Special: +your chakra mod + 2 per 10 ranks in Chakra Control to Will Save. The effect of this technique is stackable, that is if many ninja use it on one person all their bonuses are added.
Will Save DC 35 (Black Thought Technique) and 31 (Environment)

Result: Success (On both genjutsu since they are both single layered)
Given Hiru's massive chakra, very few genjutsu could resist one of his powerful genjutsu kais. Therefore, it came as no surprise that all of the disturbing thoughts he'd been hearing had been blasted away by his attmpt. What turned out to be a lot more surprising was that the entire decor had also vanished with them, making him realize he'd been in an elaborate illusion all along. All that was left now was a decrepit old tower, whose interior now matched it s crumbling exterior. Still, Hiru was a bit unsetlled to see explosives lying about everywhere.
"That was a very clever illusion!", Hiru told his assailants with a smile. "Now that I know there aren't any real children around, I wouldn't suggest making these contraptions explode. Believe me, that would hurt you a lot more than it would me.", he told him with a friendly tone.
Attack 3 and 4

Fully aware that the time for pleasantries had passed, Hiru knew that given his less than on par resistance to attacks of the mind, there was only one technique at his disposition to avoid becoming a drooling zombie before the fight was over. He wasn't thrilled to have to resort to using it because of the chakra cost and the fact that there wasn't any water around, but it would help him significantly in resisting genjutsu.
His hands a blur, he channeled swift chakra into his wrists and finger to weave hand seals with incredible speed.
Gekizou Sokuryoku (Speed Burst)
 Through very basic channeling of swift chakra, the user briefly accelerates chakra flow and any basic movement to reduce the execution time. This technique is usually applied by shinobis to accelerate the weaving of hand seals or to speed up stance shifts. Rank: Ability, passive Requirements: Jinton Special: *User may pay 5 cp when performing an action or casting a jutsu to reduce the dice rolls required to use it by 1. *This ability can be repeated [Chakra Control / 10] times per individual attack or jutsu (for additionnal 5 cp per dice roll deducted, required number of dice rolls cannot go lower than 1).
As he concluded, Samehada, which was still strapped to his back, slowly began to change shape and cover Hiru's body. As it did, his appearance altered gradually, even altering his posture.
Shoukenpou: Kenjin Heigou (Living Blade Art: Human Blade Merge)
 Samehada merges with its wielder, fusing the two beings' chakra systems, sharing their abilities, and increasing their overall physical abilities. The resulting creatures greatly resembles a practically perfect human/shark hybrid and is particularily effective in underwater combat. Since it takes full advantage of Samehada's unqiue ability to use its accumulated chakra to increase its size and activity, this technique increases the capabilities of the user proportionally to the quantity of chakra saturating his system. As is the case when two consciousnesses merge into a single body, the user becomes incredibly resilient to genjutsu, since one of the two organisms will be able to wake the other should he or she fall prey to an illusion. Over the course of history,rumours would have it that, in the right environment, a wielder of Samehada who achieves this fusion has no weaknesses. Cp Cost: 150 Cp Dice Rolls: 5 Damage: Regular weapon damage. Reflex DC: n/a Special: *User can instantaneoulsy (for no dice roll) use any of Samehada's abilities or passive jutsus except Samehada Kensei. *The chakra reserves of the blade and the user become one and the same. *While underwater, increase [Base Attack Bonus], [Dodge Bonus], [Reflex], and any check related to underwater movement by [Samehada / 2] + [Samehada Cp / 40]. *Increase all checks to detect or identify targets who have chakra (basically anything that is a jutsu or alive) by [Samehada / 2] + [Samehada Cp / 40]. *Add [Samehada / 2] + [Samehada Cp / 40] to will saves to resist or break genjutsu. *Any physical contact with the user causes chakra damage to the individual touching him as though he or she had been struck by the blade.
As soon as it was done, Hiru had fully fused with Samehada, changing his appearance to that of a shark human hybrid. Very calmly, he stood up and pushed his chair back as he got in what appeared to be an attack position. Talking to himself, Hiru told Samehada: "You tell me if anything I'm seeing seems off!"

Dilating his gills, Hiru used Samehada's ability as a chakra sensor to try and find the chakra signature which wasn't a pure construct from the mass of bunshins that were filling the room.

Result: Success
It took Hiru all of a second to identify the real dragon in the vicinity. Not that much of a surprise, he was the one who you could only partly see through the barely opened door's crack, only in a position to strike him with genjutsu.
"I still don't want to fight you Dragon-Sama. Please, just give me a chance to help you." Hiru calmly told the clone standing at the table, not wanting to reveal he knew where the real one was.

 HP: ??? CP: -236/??? MHP: ??? Dragon snapped back and said, "I'm not interested in the kind of help that you have to offer. I'd rather not kill you if I don't have to, you seem like a nice kid. I was hoping you would go unconscious with a bit of genjutsu ... you shall be mourned." He fired off some more hand signs and began to use the technique that had earned him his name. Fireballs began to rapid fire from his mouth aimed straight at Hiru. [Katon: Hosenka no Jutsu (Fire Release: Phoenix Immortal Fire Technique)] [Reflex DC= 37 8 checks necessary 51-91 damage per hit, I will roll it when we see what hits.] Then he fired two arrows, the first aimed at Hiru, the second aimed behind him. As the arrow whizzed by, the illusion dropped, showing the poor state of the tower and the mass of wire and exploding tags rigged up around the building. Maybe now Hiru would get the message. "You should have just let me leech away your sanity until you went to sleep." Seeing a flurry of fire projectiles coming his way, Hiru instinctively triggered the technique that had been his signature since his very beginnings at the ninja academy. Increasing his casting speed, he drew up very familiar seals in the blink of an eye.

In a second, a fine layer of water condensed under his feet and started pushing him from side to side with incredible speed and efficiency, preventing the need to actually jump around.
Suiton: Mizu Kassou (Water Release: Water Gliding)
 The technique is an improved version of water walking. The user condenses a thin layer of water under his feet and uses it to propel himself with bursts of speed in any direction and ignore terrain difficulties. Instead of moving his feet, the user moves the water he generates to initiate movement before he even moves a muscle. The technique is usually used on the ground, but can also be used on or under water for a reduced chrakra cost. Cp: 4 cp per post on water or in a water field, 16 initial cp + 8 cp per post on land.
