Describe your character's personality in less than 30 words: Steadfast in her mellowness, like a tree. A natural guardian despite neutrality. While reclusive and lacking a sense of fun, as a gardener of the mind she enjoys learning.
Does your character have a ship/ OTP? She does not ship, but Lady Mist and myself have plans for Hethel and Lareina. >O
Describe your character if they were a vegetable: Hethichoke the artichoke spirit haunts the old hawthorn bush by the garden, perched upon it every night. Hethichoke does not realize this, but it does not look very menacing, perched upon that spiky branch looking more like some poofy round flower than a proper vegetable. Rabbits and raccoons come to steal from the garden, not noticing her. No matter. If this is where these animals lived, it was only natural for them to partake from available food sources. However, should any of them attempt to uproot a plant, Hethichoke would be quick to swoop down and dissuade them with spooky vegetable antics.
What is your character's favourite music/ song/ piece? Hethel has not had the opportunity to listen to music any other way than overhearing others as they pass by playing or singing it, so she doesn't have any!
What is your character's hobby, if they had spare time? Reading poetry, books, finding any and all Hawthorn references, and browsing Spookypedia mainly in nature-related things. Forest-watching.
Is your character more arts, science, or sports inclined? Almost equal parts consumer of arts and science, a practitioner of neither. More a fan of literary arts than of science. Sports do not hold any appeal to her.
What type of personality traits does your character gravitate towards? Calm and mostly quiet personalities, inquisitive types, and sorrowful persons.
What are your character's personality traits (Good ones?) An ability to stay level-headed with ease. A willingness to help when needed, and to learn and grow. Earnest. Wisdom, acceptance, gives a hoot about others.
What are your character's personality flaws? Her lack of sense of fun can be a bit of a stick in the mud. She's also reclusive enough that one trying to befriend /having already befriended her may feel a little bit like it's a one-way effort sometimes. She's also passive enough to be a bit of a doormat in situations where vindication would be the normal reaction. Lacks initiative.
What is your character's favourite colour? ...Green?
Describe your character if they were in the opposite faction: A horseman of conquest, short of stature but strong of mind. Trains oneself in games of intellect, enriches oneself with culture. She was but the keeper of an imperial arboretum, but having met a lonely soul she believes to be of great potential, she now aspires to raise them as an emperor/empress and bring them to greatness with the aid of her own hand and wisdom. She would be dark skinned and wear oodles of layers of poofy, draping robes, with a hood, leaving her barely visible in its folds.
What would your character look like as the opposite gender OR 10 years into the future? She would look exactly the same as the opposite gender or 10 years into the future. No kidding. xD Though since male owls are typically smaller than female owls, she'd probably be even shorter as a male. 8T;;
If your character was an Amityville Professor/ Divison Leader/ Horsemen Clans lead how would they teach others? By being always there for them to answer them when they ask questions, or just to listen, without judging, when they need to talk. Partially she would teach by example, acting in an acceptable fashion regardless of the other, without letting their attitudes influence her own behavior so that it would be reflected back in their eyes and induce some self-reflection.
Who does your character look up to? The Old Thorn! XD [The talking tree she lived on before coming to Amityville Academy. Her sole family.]
What is a great weakness of your character? The only thing I can think of that is objectively a weakness is a lack of initiative to accomplish anything.
What are their favourite foods? Rodents.
Favourite fashion style? Err... none. Fashion is a non-issue.
Favourite minipet? ...Treefox?
If your character was in a fantasy novel who would they be? A guardian forest spirit that an exiled queen's convoy seeks out to present offerings in return for its aid. It accepts and takes the exiled queen under its wing. With the help of their new patron spirit, the queen returns to glory. >O
Describe your character as a mythical creature: If she were part of mythology it'd be more the folklorey, fairy type, like the kelpie or cait sidhe but with a more ambiguous nature. She would be a memory of old folk that some may still believe, a haunted legend of a place wherein a spirit has helped honest people in times of need, and impeded wily ones in times of greed. If not an owl spirit, she would likely be a ghost, a faun, or something in between.
Describe your character as a Disney princess and/ or Villain: Imagine a disney film where the people are all mice, and there we have it, Hethel the Foul Fowl, great devourer, kidnaps people to her lair where they are eaten! ...Pretty much a normal owl, but for the sake of disney villain-ness she should at least have a dramatic evil song solo.
The forest is crawling with mice
That call me evil, full of vice
But I must eat, and rodents are
What I must eat, after all.
(Young or old, without distinction,
It's Nature VS. Civilization.)
Their soldiers storm my cozy nook
Fighting to claim back what I took;
Shouting Hethel the Foul, let us be free!
Free of danger and misery!
But would it be any more fair
To starve me or take to my lair
Sacrifices that you choose
Citizens you wish to lose?
Young or old, without distinction,
It's Nature VS. Civilization.
If your character could travel anywhere where would they go? Right back home to the Old Thorn. xD
If your character could confess one great secret what would they confess? Contrary to appearance, she has little to hide. And 'secrets' she may have could not be called "great", for they are silly things like not actually remembering when or why she started guarding the Old Thorn, or even how they met.
