Lareina stood with her shoulders back and chest high, the frill of her soft dress a stark contrast to the crumbling walls and dank lanterns. She stood out pretty much anywhere she went in a town such as this.

After having met that little ghost when moving in to the school dorms, she was determined to make the creature her first vassal. The owl should be honored to be the first follower of all her future minions to be. She was dressed to impress and used all her finesse to wrangle a table at the illustrious Ghoul and Chef restaurant. The wait list was normally an astronomical paper of endless names, but a little smile, some kind words, and perhaps a few spare gold pumpkin seeds did the trick.

They had agreed to meet by the clock tower, at which point Lareina planned a grandiose walk towards the almost legendary restaurant, watch as her target's face lit up when the double doors swung open at her mere approach, gloat as the entrees began. Oh yes, this meeting would be a glorious one.

Hethel shuffled her way down the street, bare feet peeking out from under her feathers as they were dragged across cracked cobbles. Not picking up dust on the way was an advantage of being a spirit. Her form held much attractive power on an entirely different category of clingers; children and minipets. Already, a Swine Flu-Flu was oinking malignantly at passerby's from her back.

Lareina was the first fellow student to seek her out; Answering her call seemed only natural. The owl of the Old Thorn had not, at any point in her long years, been known to be particularly sociable; however, it is not as if any efforts to befriend her had been made. An invitation to meet casually, like thus... it was not becoming of a noble forest guardian. But she was absolved of the role for the time being; it was difficult for spirits, often defined by place, to be entirely themselves when taken off-site. Furthermore, a strong tendency for fixation was apparently regarded as a weakness of her kind. (She had gotten that from class. Unlike many, if not most of her classmates, she listened. She had not become a student of Amityvile Academy without determination! )

The humanlike ghoul garbed in green was standing at the place of meeting. "I am here." Hethel spoke, voice deadpan as usual. Her manner of dress grows more regal, she thought, unawares that there may be an occasion to justify it.

Lareina clasped her hands in delight at the flat words, twirling to face the fluff of feathers before abruptly recalling her emotions. She cleared her throat, lowering her hands daintily to her sides, "So I see. Thank you for coming." The reaper managed to keep her voice straight, but the swell of anticipation was on the rise again; she was surprised at how excited she was to show her new found vassal the delights of her day's plans.

"Very well then! Let us--" She paused at the Swine-Flu Flu, wrinkling her nose before reminding herself to withhold her prejudice. It was one of the few times that she remembered that her sense of beauty was vastly different from the rest in Amityville. Uneasily clearing her throat with a short "a-hem", she swiftly recovered and her cheer was back in full force, "I have reserved a seat at a quaint shop for food. Nothing out of the ordinary. Shall we proceed, then?"
