It feels like a new movement of anti-everything. One girl i know refuses to do anything "normal", she never shaves, she's relatively unkempt, and she's also an attention-whore. Then she complains about why guys don't like her. She just became a lesbian because she was "too good for guys". rolleyes

The issue I have with Feminism today is that they've boiled down to two things.
1. The same one that fought for womens freedom are now dictating what and what isn't proper for a woman, which makes them into what their mothers or themselves fought against.
2. Everything is the fault of the male gender and one should hate them and make them feel bad for being men. Essentially giving the message that we'd all rape women if we could, we'd beat them, were beasts, evil, our instincts are wrong and blah blah blah. This contributes to making a massive gap between men and women and in cases men tend to move more towards feminim behaviour at an attempt to please women either because they believe they have to or they're driven by guilty of being male.
Make no mistake I'm not saying a guy shouldn't take care of the kids, clean around the house, groom himself, wear nice clean clothes and such. But they should be allowed to be men, be a little egotistic and do things that women don't needlessly enjoy. Be dominant at times and protective of your partner even if she can handle herself.
Afterall wouldn't you girls that want men to have a man rather then someone you can wear as a pair of slippers?

This is exactly how I feel. I wish guys were more dominant. I can protect myself, so I don't mind if my guy is also dominant, because I'll be able to handle myself if he does something I don't agree with.
