An unforgettable red summer
Mobster x Poor girl
Background
At the sight of a quiet, lonely girl sitting by the edge of the curb sparked little Marcus’ interest. Maybe it was the sad look in her eyes, or maybe it was the fact that she was alone avoiding possible eye contact from any parent or the other excited children by the playground. Marcus detests the rowdy children but he had did not mind this when his mother was around him. Reminded of why he was here in the first place, Marcus then diverted his gaze onto his mother, who was happily chatting with the other mothers around the playground. A small smile crept onto his lips when his mother broke into laughter from what seemed like a hilarious joke by one of the obnoxious ladies. In his eyes, his mother's smile was the most precious thing in the whole wide world. His mother took a small break from laughing to keep her eyes on Marcus, urging him with her eyes to play with the other kids. But he merely gave her a weak smile and turned his attention back to the quiet girl. His mother followed his gaze, looked at the girl and sighed. “Looking at girls at this age….just like his father” chuckling as she said so.
“_____!” an older lady wearing, what appears to be a cleaners outfit, uttered an in-auditable name from across the road. The quiet girl stood up and waved at her, with sparkling eyes as she did so. “Mummy!” Marcus’ brows relaxed a little as he watched the woman cross the road, but the happy reunion was cut short as a red vehicle appeared out of nowhere speeding towards the woman with no intent of slowing down. Marcus tried to call out but it was too late, the vehicle was too close to her mother, she had no chance to dodge it in any way. Marcus ran towards the girl and covered her eyes before she could witness the horrid incident. Upon impact, the girl’s mother was thrown a couple of inches away, and rested on the ground in her own pool of blood.
8 years later~
After all that has happened, Marcus could not recall the events that occurred after the incident. That was the last time he ever saw her…but he was reminded of the accident when his own mother died 8 years later, when Marcus was at the age of 18. This marks the point where little Marcus took a turn for the worst, not only did he shut everyone out of his life but he joined his father’s gang, the one thing which his mother wished for him not to. A part of him inside, hated his mother for leaving him so early without warning. For quite some time, Marcus cried himself to sleep, trying to remember his mother’s pale, powerless face as she lost her battle with leukemia. He also hated himself for being so weak, unable to help his own mother in time of need. With that, Marcus lost the cheery, excitable exterior and developed a cold, hateful and resolved composure. For years he had not opened up to anyone, not even his father. But after 9 years, at the age of 27, Marcus found himself distracted by this one girl, who was taking out the trash of one of his father’s club. The familiarity of her face, he could not pin point exactly where he met her but her mere existence had constantly been on his mind when he first saw her, which irritates him profusely.

Just a clarification, I would be role playing as Marcus (the mobster) and whoever who would be role playing as my partner would be playing the girl character. I left the name and description a blank, so do as you see fit with your main character. Do PM me if you would wish to join this RP. Thanks
