Unless you ran down the street shouting " The Nazi's are coming" in French, it can't be that bad.

Prepare for a relatively exciting wall-o'-text. I'll tell the story of my romance (but many other things happened as well). I'm leaving out a lot of bits but here we go:
My ex was on the trip as well. We'll call him Gary. I don't know if any of you remember but Gary and I broke up about a month and half (or more) ago and haven't really talked since. There were about 25 other kids on the trip as well, but they didn't really talk to us since they were Seniors and "too cool" for us apparently. ******** 'em (when I refer to "our group" i'm excluding the seniors). Anyways, we arrived in Paris on Sunday. We were all extremely jet-lagged but managed to sight-see around our hotel (we stayed at a hotel 2 blocks away from the Eiffel Tower). Everyone in our group got very close. Since I was apparently the best at french (one of the 3 french students who went on the trip), I would order things for everyone and basically was the spokesperson whenever the Parisians didn't speak English (uncommon). Monday/Tuesday. Because of the small group size we had to get close to everyone. This included me and Gary. The more time I spent around him, the more I wondered if there was unfinished business between us. I wanted to find out. Wednesday. We tour Normandy, the American Cemetery, and arrive in St Malo to stay the night. That night my room mate and I invited our group for a small get-together in our hotel room late at night. While we kicked most of the guys out around 1am, some of them stayed and the rest of us were awake until 4am talking about our deepest secrets and our fears. We got very close that night. I talked about the situation between me and Gary and they proposed that I should talk to him about how I felt. 4am I walked up to Gary's room and told him how sorry I was for how poorly we broke up. I said it wasn't right and that I wanted to still be friends. He agreed, and I gave him a relatively romantic hug. Before descending the stairs I turned around and he was watching me leave. Thursday: We leave St Malo and begin our drive towards Tours. Not a whole ton happened until after dinner. Our tour guide (ignoring the wind chill and the cold) decided it was the perfect night for ice cream. We walked through half the city to reach a square. Gary and his friends were flirting with all the French girls there. I was extremely hurt. That night I talked to him because I finally had to know if he liked me or not. He said "You should do whatever you want to do" and went to bed. Friday: Deciding to leave Tours for a little bit, we stopped at a couple of Chateaux and, daringly, during Lunch (when we would separate from the larger group and go off individually or with our friends to buy our own food), I ordered a pitcher of wine for the table (5 of us girls). This was totally against the rules since this is taken very seriously back in New York. The penalty was to be sent back home. I suppose since our Lunch was in the countryside, no one really spoke English there. I ordered for everyone. (To sidetrack from this main arch, at one point I forgot how to say "split the bill". I knew "divise" but I thought that sounded too choppy. I ultimately asked her in french if she knew any english, and she replied (in french) with, "no, but you speak very good french" emotion_awesome ) We walked out of the restaurant very tipsy (the jug was ginormous!) and concluded that we should throw a party that night. After dinner in Tours, I ran down to the local liquor shop and ordered champagne and vodka. When we got back to our meeting place for the larger group, there was a group of french kids hanging around that were just our age. At first, the guys ran up to us. I wasn't honestly very interested in talking to them, despite them all being very cute. When the girls came over, thats when I broke loose. While I spoke in French, they attempted to speak in English. It was very fun and very broken. I was the only one who could understand and reply quickly with them so they essentially ignored the rest of my group and talked to me about France and America. That's when one of the really cute French boys came up to me and said something. Because of the noise level or i don't know what, (in french) I thought I heard him say "Do you speak French?" I replied with "oui". Turns out he asked me if I wanted to french kiss him.
It was actually very good. However I was very shocked and so he must have thought of me as a bad kisser. Oh well.
What happened next was a shock to everyone. Gary just exploded. I wasn't hearing it though, since he hadn't be clear with me all week. I just felt awkward and embarrassed in front of all the French kids. Thankfully those kids must have really liked me because they chased me down for my social media contact. heart Whereas I had been feeling lovesick all week to the point where I could barely eat, finally I felt... fine. In fact I felt great. We got to the hotel and Gary wouldn't talk to me. Tyler, his close friend for the whole trip, came out to talk to me in the hallway. The liquor party was in my room between the few girls (guys were not invited), but I thought it was more responsible to hold off on any drinking for me until I figured out my own issues. Me and Tyler got kind of close that night. He sympathized with my situation a bit and told me that if he was in the same position, he would have acted the same. I ended up having a great time at the party.
Saturday: It was a kind of awkward day. We returned to Paris today. On the night cruise, Gary decided he couldn't even be friends with me anymore. I said we needed to talk some more. Whatever, honestly. Just didn't want it to be awkward in school. He brings me into his room and kisses me. Very awkward. I say it's best that we not be friends, too, and I leave. That night I have another party, this time 2 bottles of vodka, and Tyler bought some other kind of vodka. Our entire group of friends were at this party, and Tyler and I got really drunk. I ended up cuddling with him in the corner. Then I went over to the window to smoke a couple of cigarettes with my buddy. I went back over to Tyler and we were cuddling even more. My friend got me a towel as a blanket because I was complaining about being cold. Under the towel Tyler began to feel me up. I actually really enjoyed it. We were in our own little bubble. We thought we were going to fall asleep there with each other until one of my friends began throwing up so we left and went to our respective rooms to go to sleep.
Sunday: Time to leave France. Me and Tyler are kinda flirting. That night, leaving JFK in New York, we talk a lot about the sides of our personalities that other people don't see. That night he texted me and we were flirting all night.
Monday: None of us go to school. Tyler and I keep texting. Turns out I'm very sick and have a fever of 103. I might have the flu. He apologizes for how he acted when he was drunk and I tell him that it was okay since I enjoyed it. He said he did, too.
Tuesday: [Today] Tyler went to school, I still didn't. I feel terrible. He texted me whenever he could to check up on me. We flirted a bit this morning but now we're just talking. We're going to a party together this Saturday and I'm pretty excited about that.
