xxxxxI know you guys don't have an event scheduled until April, but since I haven't seen an event since October, I figure that we could try for one in March. Now, I have a couple of ideas for a plot, but I'd like your input as well.
xxxxxIdea One: St. Patrick's Day xxxxxxxxxxPerhaps a bit overused, but still a good plan since Gaia typically has an event around the same time. Perhaps we could have a leprechaun (or a couple of leprechauns) causing some trouble for some farmers or something.
xxxxxIdea Two: The Rite of Spring xxxxxxxxxxYes, I'm a music major, couldn't you tell? Spring officially starts in March, but if you live in a place like where I do, you're probably not going to actually see it until late April. My idea is that there are Winter spirits and Spring spirits battling for control of the weather. It's a loose idea and would need more fleshing out. This could then lead into the April Event.
xxxxxIdea Three: Pi Day xxxxxxxxxxMarch 14th is Pi Day! Or, Pie Day, if you like the edible kind better. So the plot? Something involving pie.

I love all the ideas, but I especially adore the ideas of Pi Day and The Rite of Spring. I mean, we have tons of funny jokes and ideas that we could incorporate into the Pi Day, and I know the Rite of Spring would be nice as a kind of welcoming and good-bye to the interjecting seasons. This is very tough! sweatdrop

I really like the Pi Day! I didn't know it existed. As much as I like The Rite Of Spring, I would like to remind everyone not to make it too close to last year's March/April event which was similar in topic.

I like the idea of having leprechauns running around... what do you think about having a few people being leprechauns in the other threads that will be up for St. Patrick's day as well?
We can run around, heart and bump threads, and maybe even have some leprechaun gold if we're caught!
.... though I'm not sure how we'd be "caught." That would have to be something not too easy to do so that we don't quickly become beggars xD Maybe we'll drop an image somewhere randomly and if it's quoted in the thread we open for the event the first person to do it will get a prize?

A cute Pi Day event would be like that pie eating contest Gaia used to do with the NPCs, I forget what the name is. I dunno, just sounds like a cute idea. xD
I'm not exactly sure if Gaia will have an event, though. Hopefully they will, but unless I'm totally missing out on something, they didn't have a Valentine's event like they used to, just a forum with a few contests and generally a lower amount of festivity. So, not to be a downer, but just anticipate for the worst and make sure you have a backup plan in case Gaia doesn't have a large event for St. Patty's.
But yeah, I like all 3! Yes, St. Patty's might be overused, but maybe we could throw in a twist or combine two themes?

I have no idea if this is still in consideration, but the Rite of Spring sounds amazing. I love it!

La Petite Corsaire I have no idea if this is still in consideration, but the Rite of Spring sounds amazing. I love it!Everything's still be considered. I just put this thread up today, so it's really far too soon to be making any decisions. While there's danger of repeating the event from last year, there's also possibilities to make it different. Like there's a ballet (or something, I played selections from The Rite of Spring a long time ago), and where there's a ballet, there's a story that can be borrowed from.

I think we can use some of it. No sacrificial victims though...I mean, unless there's a volunteer. >;D

I actually don't think we should put that bit in the plot, unless things just end up that way. But I think we can come up with other, better ideas on our own! (:
