The lights flashed over and over and over in tune with the hype up of the singer yelling about knowing someone who possibly knew someone who likely knew someone else. But when the hype ended abruptly and the song started up properly, the lights returned to normal. No flashing, no extra, just still.

Shadow and Kelly King 2.0 walked up onto the stage from the backstage area. Neither were wearing the extravagant entrance attires they were known well for, instead going with the bare essentials, simply wearing their in-ring attires. 2.0 was also adorned with the EWA Championship around his waist, clearly ready for the non-standard main event in the Pandemonium cage that hung above the arena. King looked over at Shadow and lifted his hand, wobbling it in midair giving him the sense of a meh feeling about the tag team. Shadow responded with merely a shrug of his shoulders before they started to walk down to the ring and were announced as a tag team for the very first time.
[And their opponents, weighing in at a combined zero ******** given, from nowhere in particular. Shadow and Kelly King 2.0, Nothing Special!]
I Walk Straight Up To The Bouncer
Got The Flyer In My Hand
Said I Didn't Bring The Ladies
But I Brought My Favorite Friends
He Doesn't Say A Word
He Just Points Us To The Back
Like He Thinks We'll Wait In Line
No No We Ain't Having That!
2.0 and Shadow walked down to the ring and then made their way over to opposite steel steps. No pyrotechnics or light shows followed them, and they didn't really respond to the fans at ringside or rampside, simply moving forward and looking up at their opponents, whom they regarded with a general lackadaisical expression. One had to wonder if the two really even cared in general about what they were doing. King walked up his steps, as Shadow walked up his, and they stepped into the ring on opposite ends, mirroring each others moves as they walked over to the ring posts of their choice and climbing up onto them. Their taunt together appeared to be them attempting to decide and commit on whether or not to lift their arms up, which actually ended with 2.0 throwing his arms out at the crowd like 'whatever, I give up.'
Four Out Of Five Make It In Hours Later
Sobered Up, Overheated, And Can't Find A Waiter
We Dance Up On Some Girls, But They're Blocking Us Out
I Could Win Them With Words, But The Musics So Loud!
King and Shadow climbed down to join each other in the middle of the ring where they shook each other's hands and nearly walked over to the corner to start their match, but Shadow grabbed his partner's shoulder to get him to stay in the center of the ring for the grand finale of their entrance. 2.0 nodded, remembering his part, as they both just stood there while the lyrics ramped up to a head again.
Cause I Know Somebody Who Knows Somebody Who Knows Somebody Who Knows... I Know Somebody Who Knows Somebody Who Knows Somebody Who Knows.
I Whistle While I Work It
Suddenly the entire arena exploded into strobe lights, flashing at the middle of the ring over and over. But King and Shadow just stood there, waiting for it to be over, seeming completely disinterested in what was going on. In fact, King pursed his lips impatiently, and checked his watch, that he wasn't wearing, shaking his head with a quiet sigh, until the music and lights finally died down and returned to normal. The only sign that they even cared as they made their way to the corner, was that they seemed to be walking in step with the music that wasn't even playing anymore.
