Nuvema Town is a small, rural town surrounded by trees and overlooks the sea on the south side. It's the home of the Pokémon researcher, Professor Juniper, who manages everyone's starter Pokémon and gives them their designated partners to begin their journey with. Juniper will also hand out a Pokédex and asks you to travel Unova to help register Pokémon in the region. Before leaving the town, the Xtransceiver and the Town Map are given to new Trainers to aid on their quest. Juniper is also the one to see if your Pokémon need healing, as there's no Pokémon Center here.

It's a bright, clear day in Nuvema Town. Perfect for studying Pokémon. In fact, that's exactly what Professor Juniper was doing. She and her Minccino sat amongst the trees behind the lab, writing notes and etc on the wildlife. Minccino busied herself with a little bit of dusting here and there, as that was one of the many things the creature did. "Alright, Minccino, I've got all the notes I need for this research. Thank you for keeping the area clean!" Juniper spoke softly with a smile. Minccino grinned back happily, and called its name. Rubbing her companion's furry head, the Professor stood and walked back to the lab, silently pouring over the notes and sketches she made. Minccino was right behind her the whole time.
Once back in the lab, Juniper sat down in her desk chair and placed everything on the table. She then leaned back and relaxed. It was good to be back in the lab, even if it was so nice outside. Minccino jumped into the Professor's lap, and settled down as well. "I wonder how Dad's doing? I haven't heard from him in a while... Hm." Juniper gazed around her lab as she spoke. Her eyes rested on a stack of unmarked steel boxes, but she knew what was inside them. An array of PokéDexes rested beside the containers, and a plan began to form in her mind. "How about... it's possible." Juniper smiled as her thought finished itself. "I'll have to ask when they arrive. If what the other Professors have informed me of, then it should be no problem."
Minccino perked its ears up, and looked curiously at Juniper. "Yeah, I think when those young adults get here, they can help me get some serious research from all across Unova." She brushed Minccino's fur gently, and turned towards the door, as if she knew when they were going to come in.

SPEAKING THINKING Emir slowly woke up to a much too bright blue sky, and a soft breeze flowing by. The male groaned wiggling his fingers trying to regain feeling in his, well, everything really. He wondered what had happened. Usually the sensation of falling would’ve made him wake up immediately. Now it just felt like he’d crash landed. Pins and needles shot through his limbs, making movement extremely uncomfortable. He cursed again focusing on his hands now before feeling the sense of panic return. Whatever his hand was grasping felt like grass. But he’d been inside a building just a few moments ago. Or, however long ago it had been. How much time had he been asleep for? Emir finally shot up, the pains in his body finally fading. He looked up at the sky before at his surroundings. It was a quaint little town, emphasis on the little.
Glancing around it seemed he’d ended up in front of some house. Rubbing his eyes absently, he paused realizing his glasses were gone. He checked his face but nothing. “So this is virtual reality then?” he mused to himself craning his neck to take a look around. Something wasn’t just right though. He chewed on his lip quietly deciding it was better to wander than actually- and then he saw it. The reflection of him moving in a window. Except he wasn’t really himself because he knew he was taller than what he felt he was currently, and his hair was most definitely NOT brown. He swallowed hard moving his hands around his body, staring hard at his reflection as his heart raced. God almighty it was true! He’d been turned into a- well a girl! And not just any girl current form was that of the female protagonist in Black. “But why?” he asked loudly, more surprised than upset. After all, she was pretty cute and had a nice design.
“Did I hit the ‘I’m a girl’ button when I passed out?” he added with a small sigh. There was really nothing he could do but accept this, strange turn of event. He felt strange though. Smaller, and lankier. He wondered if he was just seeing this of if he could adjust this whatever he needed. He doubted this form was suitable for the hard running he was used to. On the other hand, he didn’t know anything about virtual reality so he could’ve been totally wrong. “Nothing left but the play the game I guess.” He added dusting himself off and tightening his ponytail while he still had a reflective surface to look at. Not seeing anyone else around except some NPCs he began reading signs before making his way to the closest Pokémon laboratory. He walked in glancing around quietly as he did wondering if this would activate any sort of event for him. Where were the others anyway?

Mood: excited, confusedThis game... endDiana lurched forward as she woke up, panting heavily as she tried to gather her thoughts. It was tough though, because everything was so bright. Then she remember something. "I shouldn't be able to see 'bright'..." She said aloud to herself, before opening her eyes. She was facing down so her eyes opened onto her legs and the grass beneath them. "Wh-what?" She asked herself, putting her hands up as she looked at them. However, that wasn't the only thing that caught her attention. She could tell these weren't the same clothes she remembered wearing to the event, but they were extremely familiar to her. "OH! I guess they used that game~!" She said, a tad more excited that she probably should have been. Crystal had been her favorite game when she could see, she just liked the girls hair and her bubbly looking attitude. It was one reason why all her games had her named Crystal, no matter the one she was playing.
She got up, spinning a bit. "Oh this is so cool!" She said, running over to a railing and looking over it, seeing her reflection in the water. She blinked, and watched herself blink, no bandaging in her way and no vision impairment. She smiled broadly, and started jumping up and down laughing a moment, before leaning against the rail once more and looking out at the water. "Now I'm so glad I came..." She said brightly, resting her head on her arms as she watched the waves ripple.Is exactly what I needed~!

 [ DIAMOND ] "...Uuuugghhhh... my head..."
Christian slowly opened his eyes but covered them right away when the light from the sun hurt them. He rolled over onto his side, blinking his eyes more to clear them up. Of course he wasn't stupid, but he was a little slow at times, so it took him a second to fully register what was going on. By reflex his hand gripped the grass under him which made him jump up and look around. What the hell? Not only was he not at Nintendo HQ, in the dead of winter, wearing his normal clothes, but he was now.. god knows where, in the summertime, with a whole new outfit. Of course he recognized the scarf and shirt first. "Diamond," he muttered, letting it sink in before smiling and jumping up to his feet. "I'm Diamond!" Should he start calling himself Diamond now? Maybe just for fun. Once the game had started.
Speaking of the game, he looked around at there he was. He didn't recognize the town he was in, especially since not many starter towns were next to the ocean. Moving from the patch of grass he had woken up on to the railing overlooking the ocean, he took in a big deep breath of the fresh salty sea air. It was a new scent to him, but he had to admit it was nice. They had definitely done a good job with the virtual reality in this game, especially since the town wasn't just a few little houses like the games, but it was a full sized
town with at least a few hundred people. As he gazed along the railing he couldn't help but see a few other people enjoying the view as well. A man taking pictures of the sea, a young couple being lovey, and... who was that?
Christian started walking along the railing to the girl who he thought he recognized as...

"The Charmer" Current Location: Nuvema | Accompanied by: Noone | Mood: Unusually Calm | ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬  A beam of bright sunlight shoned down on his face, and much like every morning when he woke up, Luke would stir in his sleep, inadvertently only making the sunlight settle on his eyes. The difference between his apartment window and where he was now however, was that he could feel a cool breeze from the wind that blew past his body, and strange bird cries. "Pidove, Pidove!" Yeah, that one. An audible groan came from him, his head feeling kinda dizzy, as he slowly blinked his eyes awake. What he saw was a Pidove on his chest, it's head tilted and staring at him curiously "Pido?" It questioned. The sight startled him, and with a jolt of his body, Luke had rose up from the ground, scaring the Pokemon off. His eyes would trail after it as it rested ontop the roof of a house, Luke's recent memories slowly starting to come back to him.
He suddenly had an epiphany, which showed on his face as his eyes grew wider in realization. The system had worked, he was actually in the game! Normally, an epiphany as great as this would make him shout and cheer, but there was this tugging at the back of his mind which suppressed the urged, and made him focus on more important things. Like who the game chose him to be. From the brief glance he saw when he woke up, he was wearing red and black. The first thought that came up in his head, was that he was his all time number one favorite character Red, leader of the dexholders, and conqueror of Mt.Silver. But like his urge to cheer, that thought had quickly disappeared. Plus, it looked like he was wearing a polo shirt.
Luke took his eyes off of the Pidove, and instead looked in the glass window in front of him, confirming his suspicions. "Ruby huh?" His voice had definitely changed. It was now higher in pitch, and held a sort of superficial worry instead of his familiar slight russian accent. Ruby was his second favorite character from the Adventures manga, of who he shared a lot of things in common with. Being this collected wasn't one of them, which explained the tugs at the back of his mind. Luke didn't mind though. Satoshi Tajiri had given him the chance to experience the crimson-eyed boy's life, and he would gladly play his role as "The Charmer". It was decided then, he would refer himself as Ruby from now on. He smiled at his reflection, the same charming smile that Ruby would put on before a crowd at a contest hall.
New goals for this universe started to form, but he let those thoughts be pushed aside. Instead, there were other important matters at hand. Like where the other players were. It was hard to tell whether or not they were already in the game, or if he was the first one to had arrived, considering the Pokemon world was actually bigger than it looked when you were playing it. He had found himself wondering who the others ended up being, before that thought was pushed aside as he instead wondered where he was. Didn't Satoshi Tajiri say the system was using Pokemon Black and White as the base? Not feeling the tug whenever he got off-track, he assumed that was correct, which in this case meant he was in Nuvema. So, that was settled. But did he really needed to go visit Prof.Juniper? Ruby already has his own Pokemon.
But it might have been a good idea to gather there with the others first, and confirm who was who. Grinning to himself briefly, Ruby had followed the numerous dirt paths the town had, due to the place being bigger than it was in the game. He had passed many npc's who were peacefully walking about in town. Some of them had greeted him, even though his clothes made it obvious he wasn't of their native region, something that the crimson-eyed boy was appreciative of, since it showed just how awesome this game really was. By the time he had gotten to what looked like Juniper's lab, which resulted in a bit of tugging at the back of his mind, he had seen what looked like White pass in. Calem Played by: Tyler Anderson ═━┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈━═ "You can always make new friends" The light shone brightly onto Tyler as he sat up slowly and rubbed his eyes, the light hurt a bit but not to a bad point. Tyler sat there for a while trying to catch his bearings, he looked at the surrounding area and noticed they were near the ocean. He rubbed his eyes and slowl got up, 'What happened?... Where am I?' he thought as he examined himself.
'Huh? Am... Am I, Calem?' he thought as he checked his body out. After getting his bearings he looked out over the ocean and smiled 'This feels... Homely' he thought remembering his appartment, it was near the ocean. He wandered around town, 'I suppose I should probably start calling myself Calem. It should make things a bit easier' he thought as he waved to the NPCs as he tried to find Juniper's lab.
He wandered around a bit until he saw what looked like it might be Juniper's lab and he saw a few people and decided to run up and go greet them. [ DIAMOND ] Christian jogged over to the Crystal figure just as she turned to face him. She was a happy sounding girl, as Crystal was in her later incarnation. When she introduced herself as Diana he immediately broke out in a smile. "You're Diana? How weird! I'm Chris in the real world, but I guess I'm Diamond here. This character is the boy from the Diamond and Pearl games." He was pretty impressed with the VR system that Nintendo had developed, being able to evidently heal anything wrong with someone in the real world. "So... you can see again? I'm glad."
Hopefully that didn't sound as bad as he thought it did. His blush was pretty evident. OOC: I should assume so My Party: Turtwig || Male || Level: 5 || Docile || Overgrow || EXP: || Tackle / Withdraw / ------- / -------

⊰ϓellow⊱xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx ▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀ ▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄ The first thing Mei realized when she came to was the soft green grass under her. The realization puzzled her. She was inside a room, why would there be grass? Slowly she opened her eyes and glanced around. She was outside! The surroundings seemed familiar to her too. Was she really inside the pokemon game? It really worked? Smiling, she stood up and stretched. "Wait.... what the...? I don't remember having a hat..." She said aloud to herself as she pulled a straw hat off her head and examined it. It strangely seemed familiar.
Curious, she walked to the nearest home and peered at her reflection in the glass. What stared back at her wasn't her at all. So.... I'm Yellow." She mused, taking in her long blonde hair and shorter height. It was something she was going to have to get used to, that was for sure.
Curiosity got to her as she put her hat back on and turned from the window. Where were the others? Mei walked away from the building and through the town, which she recognized to be Numeva. Instinct told her everyone would most likely start heading towards Juniper's lab, so she headed there. ▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀ ▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄ ↣Where am I? Nuvema Town ↣With? [ DIAMOND ] Christian- or Diamond now- nodded in agreement to Diana, maybe the other players were already gathering at the Pokemon Lab. "You're right; surely most of the others would be there by now, but just in case why don't we do a little sightseeing on the way there. It is a ways away after all." Again, the development team at Nintendo took great care to make this version of whatever game they were in much more realistic and akin to the TV show than the games. "Maybe we'll find out where we are together. I assume neither of us are familiar with this place and the Pokemon in it. What do you say?" The only reason I even knew who I was is because I hadn't gone blind by the time gold silver and crystal came out." She explained, pushing off from the railing. "So do you think people won't care if we just walk into their houses like they don't care in the games? That was always my favorite thing to do really. See what types of people were in each place." She said, moving a tad to start walking along the railing for now, not really sure she wanted to find out about houses and such. Especially since if it wasn't like that she might get hit or something.Is exactly what I needed~! {haha, okay~}

[ DIAMOND ] Diamond smiled and nodded, moving away at the same pace as Diana- or Crystal. Speaking of which. "Do you suppose you'll go by Diana here or Crystal? I mean we're not in our old bodies anymore, and suppose people actually recognize you as Crystal? Are you going to correct them?" Yes it was completely up to her, so he didn't want to persuade her one way or the other, but everything was logic in his mind, and he just looked at things as such. And another thing...
"I DON'T think we should be barging into other houses, but it is a game and experimentation should be allowed. If you want to go into anyone else's house, that's up to you. I'll just wait outside." He couldn't help but laugh at the thought. Yes it was just a game but they didn't know the level of AI that went into it. What if it didn't go over well? One shuddered to imagine. "To be honest until I actually get a pokemon I don't think I'll want to be alone at all, it's weird not having someone else walking with me. Even if it was just Bravo or Alpha." She added, stepping off from the railing to actually look around the little town. "Though, I guess we should talk to people at some point, since I would assume we still have to get town maps and bikes from them and such." She finished, looking at a window as they walked by one. 'It'll be hard getting used to looking like this...or looking like anything for that matter...' She thought to herself smiling lightly.Is exactly what I needed~!
