 Welcome to the SDRP Valentine's Day 2014 Event!Happy Couple's Day! Or Love Day! Or Single Awareness Day! What have you! It's a strange time of year. A mysterious force has taken over the school and blessed us with a city to surround it. Students and teachers and random folk alike are falling in love with each other. Where two people yesterday had no connections with one another whatsoever, today they only have eyes for each other, regardless of whether these eyes are spinning from love or glaring daggers. Vday Scavenger Hunt We had a bit too much fun last night and somehow managed to lose all the wonderful chocolates we got for Valentine's Day. They were good ones too, the kind with the tasty stuff inside. Now there's chocolates scattered around the guild and we need help finding them, hopefully before the ants do. We'll pay you of course! The first three to find our chocolates will get 250k (first), 200k (second), or 150k (third) in Gaia gold respectively.
How it worksThere are 10 chocolates hidden around the guild for you to find. They can be in the main forum or any of the subforums that all members have access to. They will be on the first page of a thread on the first page of a forum but they will not necessarily be in the first post. Your mission, if you choose to accept it, is to find all 10.
To accept this mission, all you have to do is register to join the hunt by replying to this thread with the following form:

Once you're registered you, need to go out and find the chocolates. It's up to you how you want to handle keeping tabs on all the chocolates (I suggest a text file on your computer cuz I'm old school) but you will need to save the link to the specific post the chocolate is in for each of them. To find the link to a specific post just click that tiny folded paper icon to the left of the Posted: date of that post. However you track your links make sure it is private so no one can steal your work. DO NOT share the links with anyone else. That's cheating. Once you've got all ten links put them into a PM with the following format and send it to the guild mule (School Of Dedicated RPers).
Subject: Vday Scavenger Hunt - I found em all!

The first three to PM their links (in the above format) to the guild mule will win first, second, and third prize respectively.
But that's not all!
We will also be giving prizes to the participants who find the most clever ways of working chocolates into the Valentine's Day Walk-in RP. To win these prizes you have to join the Walk-in RP of course so go do that NOW.
Once you're in there just play along like the good RPer you are, right. Then, when the opportunity presents itself, work in some chocolate to your posts without being too obvious or forcing it. Your chocolates need to make sense in the RP but they don't have to be in heart shaped boxes or truffles like the ones we lost. They just have to be chocolate in some form - anything from molten lava cake to chocolate ice cream and everything in between. Do be sure you don't break the rules of the RP though, especially that one about keeping things PG-13.
Once you've made your post you need to tell us about it, cuz we're not good at finding things - why else do you think we're getting you to hunt for our chocolates? Just reply to this thread with the following form:

Keep in mind this part is NOT a race so don't try to be the first one to present tasty sweets. Good things take patience and effort, especially good chocolate. Remember, prizes will be awarded for quality, not quickness or quantity. Most prizes will also be awarded to the player that introduces the chocolate (there is one that goes to the best reaction) so don't be afraid to throw some chocolate back if you get hit with any.
Rules
As always, follow the Gaia ToS and guild rules.
There is no cheating allowed! If you are caught cheating you will be disqualified and blacklisted from future hunts.
Do not share your work with anyone else. That's cheating.
Do not post any sort of hints or locations of where the chocolates are. That's also cheating.
Do not enter under multiple accounts, you can't win more than once. That is cheating as well.
You must follow the posting formats in this thread or your entries will not be counted.

1st Place - 250K
2nd Place - 200K
3rd Place - 150K
Best Chocolate (overall best chocolate scene) - 300K
Most Interesting Chocolate (most interesting choice or use of chocolate) - 200K
Smoothe Operator (most natural inclusion of chocolate into RP) - 200K
Best Reaction (most awesome reaction to another player's chocolate) - 200K
