Ohai!
Decided I should definitely make one of these threads. Plot with me for my character, Brynjolf!
We can plot events, situations, relationships, whatever. I'm up for anything, I just like character plotting!

Silent Alex Shepherd let's see, what kind of mutual relationship would Brynjolf and Vëtíldjá have... hm... *strokes chin*
Brynjolf would have been relatively young when she was first brought to the Thieves Guild (twenty years old when she was three), and then he started with Nightingale stuff when he was twenty-six. So he probably wouldn't have had a really active hand in actually raising her - teaching her yeah, but not raising. But I can see him being the mentor/big brother figure towards her, like he is to most Thieves Guild members. x3 He would see the skill she possesses, especially at such a young age, and want to cultivate that.

Yea, I definitely see a sort of mentor-figure, one that would be a distraction, with the other plundering pockets and vice-versa for the situation..

I just realized that it is quite possible Raylith and Brynjolf knew each other through childhood because Raylith was an orphan too from the same orphanage and he is only two years older then Brynjolf.

They were both in the orphanage together at the same time.
emotion_dowant
They could totally be estranged childhood friends! Maybe they helped each other through the orphanage - helped each other to escape the orphanage? (Brynjolf left the orphanage when he was seven though, so maybe an accidental magical incident from Raylith allowed him to escape, while Raylith ended up not being able to run away or something?). And then they would have become completely adrift from one another, since Raylith went off to the College and Brynjolf stayed in Riften.
I can totally see them being bros, if they run into each other again! Raylith's cheerful, and Brynjolf knows how to have a good time. They'd probably catch up and remember stuff from their orphanage days over a pint of beer or something~

It also found him his facination and obsession with Dwemer ruins and artifacts, thus the reason he wears a full suit (aside from the helmet) of Dwemer armor.

Brynjolf escaped with he was around twelve or thirteen (no idea why I said seven, thinking of his age when his father died, I think), so maybe it was simply the fact that he saw a chance and took it, rather than try to plan out something with Raylith. In any case, they would have undoubtedly known each other during that time. If Raylith is two years older, they might have escaped together (since he escaped at fourteen) - but then, that'd lead to the question of why they didn't stick together. Could be that they just decided on different paths, or somehow got separated? Or they just ran away at different times. xD I'm okay with anything, really.

They could have been seperated, or maybe they split up to follow their separate dreams so they decided to say good luck and go on their own ways. Which could lead to a reunion, which could have all kinds of interesting things, especially interesting things for them to talk about since each one has conquered a different path. Brynjolf becoming a Nightingale and Raylith being the Archmage, though Brynjolf wouldn't openly tell him about that, but still.

Let's go with that then - they escaped from the orphanage together, then split ways. Brynjolf would have stayed in Riften because that's all he knows. And then if/when they meet up in this RP, they can be all "WOAH it's you how've you been man *manly back pounding*" and catch up and stuff. xD
