How about them Broncos practically throwing the game. I hardly watch football, but even I know that was awful. I was rooting for them too, because their symbol is a horse.

I'd love to see changelings in the game. Honestly I'd love to have a sea pony (shoo be doo), but I can't think of a valid method or reason for one being in Ponyville. xd Changelings however... something sinister could be going on. twisted I may jump on this bandwagon if it happens.

I was thinking of having my changeling be a rogue one, as in no longer part of the hive-mind and on its own, but still a changeling in its own right.

Sounds interesting. We haven't really seen any changelings who aren't part of Chrysalis' goons, so that should be interesting. Just keep him away from Morning Dew or he'll get exposed petty quick because he can't see magical disguises.

Wasibru ((Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry I took so long! I was really busy with school and real life. I hope you can forgive me!)) Hence is why not being able to subscribe to guild forums is painful :u Also, I would strongly suggest removing the little time limit on that RP, let it die out on its own, y'know? It's not really nice to unplug someone's life support when they can live even months after their expected date.

I'm sorry, I'm curious...I saw this thread and I do happen to have a pony who might be able to fit in with your family, but he's a Flutter pony and it's kind of vital to his personality and story because he fears flying. But I know bees have a history with Flutters (even if not those kinds of bees) so I thought maybe he'd feel better working with them. Would that be allowed, or would you rather not?
I also always liked to think of Changelings as darker, (unseelie) versions of Flutter ponies since both pretty much seem to be pony versions of fairies. And I tend to think of Breezies as pixies due to their smaller size.

Hmmm I was thinking about opening Crystal ponies. So I can easily open up flutters too. I like the idea of changelings being sort of "corrupted flutters" in line with the fae magic and whatnot. So I can go ahead and do that, and I'll pick out the capitol for them... Pegusi have cloudsdale, unicorns have talltale/unicorn range and earth ponies have ponyvillie... I'm thinking Hollow Shades? it looks like little faerie fires~ Seaponies will eventually be around but they'll show up with a whole new subforum and world and such, with cute magical ways for them to interact with land ponies. They'll probably show up in horseshoe bay (since its a pretty nice cove area) but that might take a bit longer! I'd like to run the metaplot before that. uvu anyways! Once that's open you'd both be free to make flutters and one or two changelings, though I'll try to monitor the influx since the changeling part would be a little rare I imagine! Since you had the idea izzie you'd get first dibs

Yay first pick :u In terms of where changelings come from, that's kind of the same thing that the Wiki I use says.If you're too lazy tO click, READ: "According to legend, these monsters share their origin with the Equestrian celebration of Hearts & Hooves Day. Once upon a time, a unicorn prince fell in love with the Princess of Tir neigh nOg, homeland of the Flutterponies (beautiful equines with shimmering butterfly-like wings now believed to be either extinct or nonexistant). In order to gain the attentionn of the Princess, the Prince created a "love potion" and gave it to the Princess. Unfortunately, this "love potion" turned out to be a "love poison" and the two became completely obsessed with one another, completely ignoring their respective royal duties. Soon after this, a dragon attacked the kingdom of Tir neigh nOg and killed the Prince, causing the Princess to fall into such heartache that she and all of her Flutterpony subjects were mutated into hideous insectoid monstrocities that needed to feed on the Love of others in order to survive. No one knows what happened to the Changelings after this (some say Tir neigh nOg sunk beneath the earth, some say they were banished to Tartarus, some say they became a demon race and fled into the Dark Realm) but it IS generally agreed that this story took place shortly before Discord rose to power." Extra Trivia (aka TL;DR): Critics of the legend revolving around the Princess and the Dragon state that the story is an allegory depicting Royalty (the Princess) being interested in the nobles interests (the Prince) because of the money involved (The Love Potion). However, the money (the Love Poison) causes both of the parties involved to ignore there duties, and as such the people (the Dragon) overthrow the now-corrupt regime. In my opinion, based on the fannon lore, I would like to think that Chrysalis is the now corrupted princess, or at least has direct lineage to. I also have a fannon thing that a lot of the Changelings broke from the hive-mind after the failed invasion, with belief that they would to better fending for themselves even though they are now considered outcasts of the entire hive. Due to their general nature, though, it wouldn't be surprising that a discovered changeling, rogue or not, would likely be executed, and many more falling to various wildlife.

This is why I love fanon! That all makes perfect sense and it will certainly be going into this guilds sort of canon verse. Especially with the changeling and Chrysalis being banished to the badlands, there's lots of opportunity for a changeling or two to slip free in the aftermath, now that they're not trapped under Canterlot. Though I do notice they still need to consume love, I imagine this can be well moderated and sustainable, much like in your typical vampire verse would do with blood intake. Chrysalis also does, very much so, look like a flutter pony "gone rogue"... So I think while opening up crystal ponies Cadence might have some power in turning some of the changeling subjects back into Flutters, and aiding others to not suffer from such love-lust? And then every variation thereof is entirely user's choice. But yeah her love magic helped change the crystal ponies back to what they were before king somber.

Cuddlycuttlefish Chrysalis also does, very much so, look like a flutter pony "gone rogue". Not rogue, corrupted. A 'Rogue changeling' is what my changeling character would be, a changeling that is no longer part of the hive-mind, and fending for itself on its own. A Changeling that IS part of that hive-mind is a corrupted flutterpony. A bit off-topic, that wiki also gives reason for Rock Farms to exist. EDIT: I also recomend removing the time limit for the event RP going on. With how it's paced, I won't even have my second post in by the time it ends.

I didn't say she was a rogue changeling, I meant that she was a "gone rogue" princess, but the use of "gone rogue" is very subjective turn of phrase so I wouldn't necessarily find it needing to be nitpicked. Sorry for not being clear I wasn't using it as if there was no corruption involved xD In fact you can see the ponylore rough draft is modeled highly on what you said. So no need to reexplain there, we're on the same page ;v;'' The post here was actually probably unclear because I was spending so much time on those. And I already know, extensions will happen, don't worry. c:

Speaking of which! I was actually curious of your and Wasibru's opinions on the matter of faeponies(Which is a more generalized term for all of the above). Its just a rough-draft, but I imagine you both are more knowledgeable than I am about the fanon lore I'd like input before I went any further with it heart Click.
