Acrucis sat on the cold pavement, head resting against the brick building. The chilled fog hung in the air reducing visibility, not that there was anyone around to see her - that she was aware of. It took some time for her crying to finally subside, for her tears to dry; but when they did her bleary blue eyes felt swollen, while her head throbbed in beat with her heart.

Please, just tell me what I'm suppose to do.

Broken and defeated, Acrucis struggled to her feet while using the building to help maintain some semblance of balance as exhaustion threatened to bring her back down. She needed to get home, to get off the streets and power down to keep from attracting the wrong company. Just the thought of walking that far in her current state made it seem like the distance was significantly further than it actually was.

As the creature of her sphere, Eternal Sailor Tsui was quite used to doing her hunts alone, though she made a conscious effort to keep her senshi cellphone close at hand should either of her allies needed her help. There were seldom occasions that she ever received a call, but for those few times that she did, the senshi of Tigers would come running to their aide, moving as fast as her senshi speed and two legs could take her. That wasn't to say that she only relied on her cell phone to come running to someone's rescue, as most of her finds were ones she happened to stumble upon, and it seemed like it was going to be the start of one of those days as the moment she powered up, she could feel a faint Order aura in the far reaches of her radar.

"Hmmmm, so, let me guess, gonna play teacher again tonight? Or sparring buddy?" Tsui said to herself, taking the turn of events lightly after first and not wasting time in moving in that direction. Maybe it was naive of her to be going into the situation with an almost carefree attitude, but if nothing else, she was extremely confident that she'd be able to fight her way out of it if she got over her head. A set of mind that constantly led her to trouble and into hospital rooms, but who would Tsui be if not… well, Tsui? "One way to find out!"

A few minutes later, the Tiger senshi found the source of the Order energy signature, and immediately she felt a pang of guilt for having jokes about the encounter, even if the other senshi wasn't present to hear it. She didn't know what happened to her, but the stance she carried was a clear enough indication that something bad happened, and Tsui was quick to approach her, ready to catch her should she fall. "Hey, are you alright?"

For a moment she didn't believe what she was seeing - a white-grey uniformed senshi haloed in the light of a halogen street light where the phantom student sat slumped just a fraction of a second ago.

At first she would have swore she was seeing the fleeting image of the student's senshi form. Though she had no idea what his uniform looked like nor what he was the senshi of, Thraen had told her that he was one of them. But when the image before her didn't fade, rather approached her, Acrucis' eyebrow furrowed in confusion.

If not his spirit... Dark blue eyes fell upon angel esk wings. She had prayed for guidance and was sent an eternal... Like Ganymede or Maia, someone who might be able to help, to tell her what to do.

Unable to find her voice, the lump in her throat near suffocating, Acrucis slowly shook her head - no... no she wasn't okay not emotionally anyway. Drying the remnants of the previously shed tears with the woolen blanket, the fabric shifted just enough off her shoulder exposing the blood stained caplet. "I was too late" she managed to whisper.

Tsui wasn't blessed with the ability to read other's minds, though she was in the mindset of it being more of something to be thankful for. Sometimes it was best to not know what was going on inside the heads of others, or vice versa, but as dense as Tsui could be at time, she could tell that something was wrong with the other senshi. Was she wounded? Was it something else?

Whatever it was didn't matter to Tsui, as the Tiger senshi continued to approach her, thinking only of wanting to help her out. When she drew close, the other senshi pulled the woolen blanket down, letting Tsui see the tell tale signs of blood, and immediately Tsui's eyes widened with surprise, as her words rung with a powerful note.

"Too late, what do you…" Tsui couldn't stop the words from running out of her mouth, even when she realized exactly what those words had meant. There was obviously a fight, and it didn't take a genius to put two and two together, though for Tsui, it was still a matter of someone maybe needing to explain it to her. "I'm sorry… let's move to some place a little safer, okay? Can you walk, or should I carry you? I'm much stronger than my size lets on…"

Walking was something she could do, roof jumping however was out of the question. It was not that Acrucis doubted how strong she was, that most definitely wasn't the case. Rather, just as Thraen didn't wish to get blood stains on her uniform (though due to circumstances it was ultimately unavoidable), Acrucis was reluctant to allow the Eternal to carry her to safety for that very same reason.

Re-adjusting the woolen blanket the Senshi of Prayer's finally replied, "I-I can walk." Like the blind being guided by a caring friend, Acrucis let herself be guided to a safer place away from the openness of the sidewalk where they were exposed to prying eyes. She felt empty, emotionally drained from the roller coaster ride she had been on and the break down just a few moments prior, it took a little bit of time for her to finally fully find her voice.

She owed the Eternal an explanation "I was heading home earlier when I felt an order aura. When I showed up there was a senshi standing next to the body of a dead student leaning against a light pole. The senshi told me that the boy had just died was one of us and," she paused taking in a deep breath "a general - a general did it. He killed the boy and injured the other senshi." There was so much blood...

"I-if I would have just gotten there sooner then maybe..." her voice trailed but her mind finished the thought maybe I could have saved him. It was at that point where she had to make a hard decision, to try and revive the deceased or mend the one that was alive.

"Okay, well, do your best and don't be afraid to ask for help if you need it, okay?" Tsui said, not really too offended that she declined the offer and suspecting that the other senshi had a good reason to refuse. Be it pride, or not wanting to trouble Tsui, she was willing to oblige, and the Tiger senshi kept close, just in case she fell. Whatever happened, it had to have been a rough fight, and if anyone knew what those kind of days felt like, it was Tsui.

Eventually, they made it into the nearest alleyway, away from the open and prying eyes. Tsui still would have preferred to take the higher ground, but she was certain that there'd be no way to insure that without throwing her over her shoulders and scaling it herself. For now, this would have to do, and if anyone dared tried sneaking up on them, then the Tiger senshi was more than willing to give them a taste of her claws. Anything to protect a fellow senshi.

She listened to her tale, swallowing down her initial response which was to gasp and forcing herself silent until Acrucis was done. After hearing of her ordeal, though, Tsui couldn't blame the girl for how she felt. She remembered a certain page during the ambush that had been torn apart before her eyes… no doubt the same feeling of frustration and sorrow was running rampant in her now. She shook her head, though, when she tried to throw the blame on herself, and while she didn't mean to come off as harsh, Tsui couldn't control how things sounded when they came out of her mouth.

"That's wrong, to put the blame on yourself. You know that, right? I mean, you came as soon as you could, and I'm sure you did the best you could, but… you're not the one at fault at this. Nor is it that other Senshi's fault. It's the Negaverse's fault- they're the ones that made the killing blow, not you!" She looked around, wondering why she couldn't feel the other senshi's aura, and she was almost afraid to ask. "Where is he? The other one?"

Acrucis nodded her head in reply, thankful for the Eternal senshi's kindness"Thank you". Her first few steps were hesitant and unsure like a new born giraffe though thankfully she managed to stay upright.

She must have been like an open book to him, the way he knew that she would need to talk to someone about what happened. Though at the time she knew she'd have to wait, that she had to try a be strong if not for herself then for him, she thought that when they parted ways that she'd be okay. But when the reality of what transpired that evening finally set in, surrounded by the deafening sound of silence... she crumbled.

"I know" she replied softly all the while having an internal struggle about what she should know and what she was doing. The Eternal was right - she shouldn't blame herself. That much she knew but it didn't negate the fact that she did it anyway. One of the things about being human was dealing with the confusing emotions that played through our daily lives. Which is why the guilt from not at least trying weighed heavily upon her weary shoulders. Something... anything... is better than nothing at all. she thought to herself It was something that would take time to come to terms with that the one to blame was the general - the one that dealt the fatal blow.

"Thraen? I helped him get to his safe house" she turned her head and nodded in the general direction she had come from. "I did what I could, but I don't know how much good my renews did. there was honestly too much blood to be sure, plus she hadn't actually seen the wound on his side though she knew there was a bad one there. He said he'd be okay that he'd able to patch himself up but that the bandages wouldn't stick around if he henshined down. He's safe for now, just powered down. Not that she had done an active perimeter patrol, but she hadn't sensed any Chaos in the area all evening. Acrucis just hoped he didn't decide to go back out in his current state, after he patched himself up, and seek out the general he had advised her to stay away from.

Tsui wasn't quite sure what she was expecting in response to her rather harsh approach, but it certainly wasn't the the other senshi to give in to the idea so easily. At least, that's the impression that she gave, though anyone with a working brain cell could tell that it was always easier to tell one self that it wasn't their fault and could probably sit back and rationalize their reasoning, but the hardest one to get to believe that was, well… yourself. Tsui wasn't a psychotherapist, but it was something that everyone dealt with in their life. Even her.

"Well, that's one positive, right? You helped him out, so, it's something…" Tsui said, even though she bit her tongue and stopped herself from adding 'even if it's not much'. No, that definitely wouldn't have helped matters at all. This was one of those delicate situations and while many believed tigers to be creatures of equal strength and grace, tigers weren't meant to handle such things, but that didn't mean Tsui couldn't try. She let out a sigh, racking her brain and trying to channel her inner Pasiphae or Valhalla in hopes of helping the situation. What would they have said or done in this kind of predicament? Maybe she should have called them for back up? It was certainly looking like a good option right now. "I know it might not seem like a lot considering… we lost another ally, but you did your best, and I'm sure Thraen did too. Sometimes, that's all you can do…"

Again, not something that Tsui wanted to admit and she wished that she could have told her something more comforting or supportive, but what could she say? There was one thing she could have done, and after a moment, she spoke up. "When I was a first rank senshi, there was this really bad ambush. We were taken off guard by both the Negaverse and the Dark Mirror Court, and we fought hard, but… there were casualties. I watched a page get torn apart by a youma while I was safely behind a shield. It… it's not my favorite story to tell, I'm afraid. But you're not alone… I'm sorry, I don't think I got your name. Mine's Tsui, senshi of Tigers."

Tsui, now the third Senshi she had encountered to have experienced loss in a horrific way. Just weeks ago Acrucis had sat in the presence of Ganymede, an eternal just like the Senshi of Tigers who walked beside her this very moment, when she had spoke of her goals and desires to become strong enough to prevent casualties from happening... then this. It felt like a cruel joke and she was the punch line.

She knew of the Dark Moon Court, for she had met Damocles and Tantalus, and of the Negaverse, though she had only encountered Benitoite thus far - he too had advised her to be wary of those within his faction. Youma on the other hand, was something she had yet to encounter though she was not entirely unfamiliar with the name given to the monsters that ran throughout the city.

There was no smile to be had, though thankful for the slight change in topic, Acrucis in turn replied to the Eternal's inquiry "My name is Acrucis, I'm the senshi of Prayer, my magic allows me to heal minor injuries with my renew. I would show you, but I have nothing left, I already used them all on Thraen" her words were slow as if she had to think about what she was saying when by now it should be as natural as saying 'hello'. Her voice carried with it a distant sound, an odd sense of calm after an emotional experience. She was there, alert for the most part and replying, but a part of her felt so far away.

With a heavy heart the little Senshi of Prayer turned to Tsui, blue eyes looked upon golden with an apologetic expression. Up till now every person she had met was well received and she had been granted the opportunity to help them in some way, but now for the first time the role was reversed and it was she who needed saving.

The Tiger senshi listened as best as she could, taking in another name and sphere from an ally and never once feeling overwhelmed at just how many of her allies she had yet to meet, nor how wide and vast their abilities and powers seemed to range. "Acrucis of Prayer? Nice to meet you, and don't worry about the demonstration. I'm fit as a fiddle, and with any luck, I won't have to come running to you for help."

Only when those words came out of her mouth did she think of how rude or harsh that might have came out, and Tsui was quick to apologize, even if she fumbled with that. "Not to say I wouldn't, if I needed it. I'm pretty reckless and tend to get into trouble, so I'm sure you'll be seeing me sometime in the future. You got a pretty useful ability... despite... you know."

Tigers were meant for hunting and striking, not to much the talking and consoling, but Tsui still tried at least. She understood loss and that feeling that came out out of. That sense of failure, the question of 'how do I recover from this'? Could one recover from it? They could. Tsui was living proof of that, as well as so many others. Tsui understood what Acrucis was going through, which was why she was confident that the other senshi could overcome this trial, and with her help, she couldn't fail!

"I'm sorry you had to go through that. I'd want to say that we all have to go through that, but then that'd mean that people had to suffer or die, and I don't want that to be a requirement in this job. It doesn't have to be, and it shouldn't, right? But when it does happen... sometimes the best thing to do it just to cry, let it out... give yourself time to grieve and think of how to prevent the next one. I know I never want to feel that way again, so my solution is to my sure I never lose another friend or civilian under my watch."
