The entrance to the palace

xxxxx▭ ▭ ▭ ▭ ▭ ▭ ▭ ▭ ▭ ▭ ▭ ▭ ▭ ▭ ▭ Seireitei ʈ he Northern Gate is the primary entrance into Seireitei, This gate leads directly to the main forum of the entire city and further onto the Commander's sector. This door was crafted by Squadron Thirteen to withstand any force thrown at it; the only way to enter is either through the Gatekeeper lifting it, or the Commander herself opens it.
The outside of the gate is quite extraordinary to any visitor. Hailed as one of Squad Thirteen's finest works, the exterior is embroidered with finely detailed golds and carefully sculpted statues. The entrance to the gate is an ascending staircase that leads to the two massive doors. The Gatekeeper (considered the most powerful of the four) resides in a lofty home below the door which is accessed by a hidden door in the wall. The Gatekeeper is to welcome all souls that approach the door. They are the only beings that are capable of pushing the massive weight to open them.
It has been said that only one soul has defeated the Gatekeeper and entered by right of combat. The identity of that soul remains only with the Gatekeeper. ℳay your entrance be your beginning...

╔══════════════╗ Glitching back into the visible world after rushing over from the Palace, the large woman almost sprinted to the Gate. She was barking orders the entire time, telling the Squad 2 members stationed there that they needed to clear the civilians out of the way, as she was about to shut the doors. They hurriedly formed a barrier and retreated behind the Doors, Kaede skidding to a halt in front of the doors, reaching her hands outward to grab one side, slamming it shut before spinning over to the other, doing the same. Turning around after they were closed, she placed both hands on the doors as she began to lock them, the extra locks being secured by the division members posted there. Nodding at them after her job was done, she wiped her brow and walked over to her shack, touching the side to make the fire more intense, the smoke in the area filling up substantially more before she knelt down. "Black and white net. Twenty-two bridges, sixty-six crowns and belts. Footprints, distant thunder, sharp peak, engulfing land, hidden in the night, sea of clouds, blue line. Form a circle and fly though the heavens." She chanted, her eyes beginning to glow a fierce gold. "Bakudo 77: Tenteikura!" She called out, branching the spell out directly to those at all of the gates currently. "Attention, Gatekeepers and fellow Shinigami. The Gates will remain locked until the okay is given in person by either Commander Shu or myself, no exceptions. And please, stay safe." She spoke harshly and commanding, though lightening up on the latter part, almost sounding like a mother wishing their children the best before sending them off. She stood back up, the kido disabling, before she drew her zanpakuto and waited near her gate, striking another cigarette up while she waited. Where would he try to escape from? ╚══════════════╝

╔══════════════╗ Eyes of gold darted quickly to a purple insect daintily floating through the air, looking clumsy and unsure even though she knew otherwise. Taking a few steps forward and holding up a finger, the small butterfly rested on its perch and relayed the message to her; how did he escape?! It hadn't been through any of the gates, for she would have felt an altercation after having made the connection with the other Gatekeepers. Sighing, she released the Hell butterfly and walked back over to her shack, the smoke slowly beginning to return to it's normal thickness, the light blue smoke now taking up most of the northern sector near the Gate. Kneeling down, she made the same markings on her arms as she did before, searching for both Akio and Zanavier; it was easier the second time around, but not by much. Skipping the incantation this time, she locked in specifically on both of them instead of the gates and the areas around them. "The assailant has escaped: an immediate Captain's meeting has been called, so after it lets out, meet me at my shack for drinks and updated orders, if y'all wouldn't mind. And good job today, boys." She said lightly, though she was obviously deep in though elsewhere before she severed the connection. Standing, and adjusting how her zanpakuto rested in her sash, she took a few steps before leaping onto the rooftops, peeling off in a sprint toward the forbidden district. It was time to hear exactly what happened after her departure. ╚══════════════╝
