The Dreamer Name: Randi Personality: Hard headed, she doesn't like having someone hovering over her when things are needed to be done. Rand prefers to have things shown to her a couple of times and from then on, let her be to do what is needed. It has been that way for many years. She can mingle with any crowd and gets disappointed when it seems like everyone is talking bad about another group of her friends. A toyboy, who likes to be out in nature than stuck in the city. Not afraid to get dirty, or see blood/guts. Description: She is about 5'6 with long brown hair and blue eyes. Randi is roughly 28 years old and not a city girl, even if that is where she was born and raised. She has tattoos, all easily covered by clothes, so that the only way you know they are there is mainly during the warmer months. Her ears are pierced with three in each lobe and one in the cartilage on each. History: She has history! Born in a small city, raised in the country by a single mother, Randi found that she fully prefers to the country life more than city life. A girl who joined the military right out of high school and dealt with the drama of being a female mechanic in the world of men, she finally got out after almost 8 years serving and living throughout the world. Some of it haunts her, just bad memories, even though the good times out way the bad. All of the city living made her crave the country again, especially with the restlessness that filled her from being so closed in with close neighbors. Randi loves animals, having lived with them since she was a little girl. It was no surprise that she wanted to work with them when she got older. For a while, she was going to be a nurse or doctor, but finally settled on a Vet Tech. For now she works outside during the summer at a seasonal job with her mother and boyfriend. She enjoys the closeness of work, and coming home to the small pack of dogs and cats afterwards.

The Dream! It always starts the same, she wakes to her warm comfy bed. Shivering as the winter morning gives her the jump start she needs. Taking a deep breath, she jumps out of bed, slapping her feet into the slippers and throwing the robe on. Bustling out to start a fire, and feed her four legged kids, she gets warmed up some. The dog is ready to go and start the day of morning walk with mama, even though she is still in her PJ's. "Silly pup, I need to get dressed and warm up the house first." The call of the other animals remind Randi, she can't just sit there and let the day drag on. "And we have to visit the rest of the group, my love bucket." Fondly scratching the dog's head, she moves back to get dressed. She looks out the window, smiling as the clouds swirl above. "Another cool day." A jacket thrown on, they walk outside towards the barn. Reaching the barn, they go in, greeting the horses and getting their food ready. "Good morning, everyone stay warm in here?" Neighs answered with heads tossing over the stalls. With all that finished, Randi and the dog head to leave for his morning walk. Opening the door, they were greeted with winters kiss, the first dusting of snow all over the land. A glance down, showed prints in the fresh snow. Time to see what they belonged to.

I sat on my bed, looking at the dream catcher. There was a new look to it, ever since I took it back to Granny's shop. The talk of spirits didn't bother me, it was the fact that they were in our dreams. And by the sounds of it, just one specific one. To be truthful, I am glad that it is the one of me on the farm. Holding the catcher, I kept rubbing along the edge wondering what the spirit was looking for. "Well, my friend, it seems like you are something special. I just wonder why you picked me." Sighing, I kept looking at it.
The new items Granny put on it. The added beads gave it a sense of personality. Even the silver piece made it more personal, as if I should know more about the dream. "Well I am sure I can always go back and see what else she can tell me. Which I should learn to ask the right questions, huh?" Smiling at the catcher, I went to put it back above my bed. It was in it's usual spot, a little under the window and just dangling above my head as I slept. "Bring some answers to me in the next few times I dream?" Smiling, I go back to my work, still thinking of the info. What kinda of spirit is it, leaving such prints that I couldn't figure out, and my dog in the dream not getting defensive. There were somethings I need to think about hard while I was heading to bed. Some more helpful insight would be more than welcomed.

Reaching down, she rubs the dog's head. "Come on boy. Looks like we have a trail today." A quick glance to make sure the barn is secured, the woman starts to follow the prints. The dog barks and prances around like a pup. They lead her towards the edge of the field, right where the woods meet it. The prints disappeared yet there was still a feeling of someone watching. She watched as the dog did his normal running around, only to see him stop near a tree, tilting his head as if listening to someone talk. "Hello?" A step closer, "Who is there?" Her foot was lifted to take another step, but prints started to lead her back towards her home.

Waking this morning I seemed groggier than normal. I mean, it isn't like I am a morning person anyways, but I went to sleep early last night. It seems the dreams are getting longer. I was able to feel a presence in the dream, that normally wasn't there. There was another difference too. There seemed to be playfulness around.
Glancing at the dream catcher, it seemed to twitch. I didn't have a fan on or any windows open. What caused it to move. Soft chuckles can be heard and I feel like I am going crazy. "Dreammmsss." Looking at the dream catcher again, before thinking about it, I grab it to put with the rest of my stuff. It feels like I should go and see Granny again. It has been a while and I hope she hasn't forgotten me.
Finally getting ready for the day. I am about to step out and see foot prints..."What the?" Shaking my head, I look again and don't see them. This is going to be a long day, I can tell that already.
