Vladimir's most notable features are; his pale, porcelain white skin that rivals the snow itself, long ebony hair that flows like a river down to his upper back, and eyes so blue that the skies themselves would be jealous of them. He is fairly tall standing at six feet and two inches and lean with enough muscle to handle hard task and be declared an all around athlete if he were still alive. He is rarely seen smiling and seems focused on only his work or getting his hands on coffee. He seems to be in his mid twenties but acts as if he is an old man. He has the potential to be popular with the ladies, but due to a sever lack of interest he pays them no mind and would rather not receive comments on his looks, be it good or bad. His hygiene is at 99.9% on key, hating to get dirty or even touch others without gloves on, one of his many flaws. There is also a rumor he has very sensitive ears since he is often telling others to be quiet. Vladimir is usually depicted as having emotionless expressions, with semi-closed eyes and a slightly opened mouth by other shinigami.

The normal attire of this captain is very professional. while working he usually wears a vest and tie while covering it up with a black lab coat. He returns to traditional shinigami captain threads when at meetings or official business. Everything is very well put together and premeditated to be perfectly organized in looks and appearances. He is also very fond of scarves.

Quirks The good, the bad, and the social.
Vladimir Garhert is a very...unique individual. His normal expressions are emotionless and indifferent it any situation with him rarely smiling to show a clear sign of happiness. As the Medical Chief of staff, he has an extremely serious behavior about him, shown as he does not get distracted by any sort of events when working and stays focused on any task presented before him. Although he is hated for his sever lack of interest in all things unrelated directly to him, which can easily be noticed by the other captains when he skips the meetings to indulge in his own work. Despite this he is a very determined person, proven though his undying drive in the pursuit of perfection and passion to cook. Though he is a very smart and intelligent doctor; known for his infamous precision with a sword, vast knowledge in the fields of medicine, phycology, anatomy, and biology, he can be very off putting at times.
Vladimir has an unusual amazement over things that people would normally consider weird, awkward, discussing, and hardly gets impressed or amazed by things that most people would let alone gives praise. This alongside his unscathed calmness over frightening situations make him hard to understand by many and quite confusing. Impressively, even in diverse cases involving risk and danger, Vladimir keeps serene and analytic, making him a bold and steadfast person when fighting. On the other hand, he is very straightforward, acting regardless of others' opinions. This combined with his other traits sometimes makes him annoying or weird to other people, even his squadron. He often lets his mind drive his behavior towards other and speaks his mind without care for other's feelings or tanking them into consideration, which doesn't help him at making friends, although this is something he doesn't seem to be worried about as he doesn't have a problem with being alone, stating that it makes it easier to work. He personally sees others as nothing more but faces, making him very hard to work with. He pays them little to no attentions unless the situation is called for it or they peak his interest in some shape for or fashion. There are even a select few that he views as equals and peers however that he is truly fond of.
Unlike most Captains he lacks the traditional heroic sense that is expected from his rank. He has shown to be somewhat arrogant, egocentric, and selfish on multiple occasions, such as instances where he worries about his own safety first, not hesitating to praise himself and act condescendingly towards others, calling himself a genius followed by censoring anyone that doesn't agree, and even going as far as to walk out on troubling situations that he himself started. He always seems to be claiming to be a man of medicine and a pacifist, even though he himself has a rude and violent nature, leading to the belief he is a habitual liar.
Vladimir's relationships with others are also uncommon as he rarely calls people by their name, usually giving people nicknames based on their most prominent traits or wrong names do to his lack of interest, but that is with a few exceptions to people he respects or interest him. There are some instances where he's quite polite to others, but this is only shown in his treatment to his patients, subordinates, and sometimes his peers. When it comes to women people makes the mistake in thinking he is asexual. He truly loves them and if hugged can quickly loose his cool. Vladimir will not hesitate to judge a woman on her features and show his admiration to the 'human pillows'. His whole attitude and character seems to change when he receives a complement from others, his blushing and kindness mirrors the sweetness of an angel, but it is a sensations that will be killed of quickly when he returns to normal.
The dominating trait of Vladimir is his obsession with cleanliness, which many do not understand due to his past, profession, and most importantly his Zanpakutō. He will not shake hands with anyone and becomes very irritated with any contact whatsoever, even simple hug. He wears gloves at all times not jus for style, but to keep them from being dirty when they connect with anything or anyone. He is very obtuse when it comes to his office and working environment, making sure everything is in order and symmetrical. The worst thing is for him to meet someone and will be forced to straiten them up and their office area as well. An ongoing joke in squad four is that receiving a pat on the back from him is the highest of praises anyone could receive next to having the Soul King speak directly to you himself.
