Stage name: Adin Elric
Pronunciation: ADD-in
Gender: Male
Age: 25
Height: 5' 10"
Magic: Air
Occupation: Popular radio personality
Home: A small home in suburban Arkenvale
Physical Description: Adin is a slim, average-looking blonde man by all accounts. His most striking feature would be his nose, long and straight and slightly hooked with a lump at the bridge from a previous break. His eyes are a muddled grey-blue hazel, set above high cheekbones and a strong jaw. His smile is a bit awkward, and his expressions (to which he is rather prone) are generally extreme. He is mostly physically unremarkable, but his voice is deep and mellifluous.
Personality: He is a man of many faces and personalities, but really is a rather down-to-earth individual without many expectations. His dreams were always high, but now he feels as if he may have reached his peak, and he is actually fine with that option. He is naturally personable, but tries to not begrudge others their potential disinterest. Loneliness does get to him at times, but it is rare to see it on his face in public. Taunting or insulting his loved ones would be the only way to get under his skin, but both are luckily fairly rare in the adult world. That does not mean, however, that he doesn't know how to throw a good punch or two. Everything possible becomes a joke, and Adin will often try to lighten the mood in inappropriate situations. He is also always determined in every aspect of life, and sometimes remarkably stubborn for this. His romantic experience has been sparse and so his charm is mostly reliant upon his training and the charismatic quality of his voice, although he most often speaks in a higher register while in public.
History: Needless to say, Adin was taunted fairly frequently as a child. He was just as active and adventurous as any other boy, but has a big nose and big ears that his peers like to tease. Adin was a late bloomer and became less and less welcome to join the other kids as the meanness of puberty began to set in. He turned then to books and art. He dreamed of being the characters in his stories, of experiencing their lives, and even began to dabble in creating his own. He had a pleasant escape through troubled times, and became more comfortable with who he was. Baseball was still fun, but so was reading by the trees and enacting favorite scenes. As his voice changed, more heckling came his way, but Adin chose instead to reign the cracking in. With constant practice, the young man became an expert at controlling pitch and tone and began to dabble in its manipulation. He was at first just a favorite reader to the friends of his younger siblings, but with the advent of the radio came a grand opportunity. He had quite the face for radio, and was able to impress the more forward-thinking entrepreneurs in the radio business. He got his first gig in advertising at the age of 18, and was out of the house on his own by 20. His voice is popular, perhaps even famous, for his advertisement spots and acting series, but nobody looks twice when he walks down the road. This lack of recognition bothered Adin for a time, but the friends he had were priceless and his family endlessly supportive. He is a man grateful for what he has, who loves his career and his life. Sometimes he even thinks it's fun to play with people who know his voice and not his face, other times he ignores it entirely, and sometimes he'll even come across a fan who doubtlessly brightens his day.
