Would the people her happen to have one they treasure dearly and/or carry around with them at all times?
For me, it's the Texas quarter I found in my change a while back. I now carry that around in a little locket, and hang it on my keys, looking to it whenever I need some motivation, or a reminder of my beloved...*her home state is Texas, after all*

I used to have a wristband I carried around that my girlfreind gave me (for those of you that don't remember I'm male.) that I cherised... but thanks to a night of drinking and strip "I've never" it's gone. Which is part of the reason I've given up drinking. now I can't even bring myself to wear the necklace that she gave me..it reminds me that I lost something that important to me. Which is an increasinly scary thought.

I always keep a little black pleather zipper bag which I keep quarters in. There is no significance in this, whatsoever, I just... Always seem to have it.
I need to put more quarters in it, though.

I have 2 silver bangles that I wear on my wrist EVERY day. They're little reminders of my good friend Amalia. She wore them all the time, and they were the only things she left me when she died. (I say "died" but it was more of "killed herself")
I also (it's a habit...) say "I'm home!" every time I walk in the door wheather or not anyone's home.

Surprizingly, as a person of obsessions and compulsions, I don't actually do this!
I do keep a lot of things at home that mean a lot to me that I've never thrown out, etc. but that I carry around all the time - not at all o.o
Unless we're talking about when I was 10-12 and I carried a pink dog toy I got from my one Aunt for my birthday? I mean this dog was so ******** up and broken and blind and headless, etc. But Fluffy had to be with me ALWAYS!
Man, when I look more at my life, I see why I am the way I am today sweatdrop

I have my three music boxes from my grandma and the piano she gave us before she died. I'm the only one who knows how to play...

I thought about this longer and the only reminder I can think of that I have for a loved one was for my Aunt Vonnie.
I used to growl for her and it was like our little "thing" we had, phone each other and greet one another with a growl razz So yes, when I hear a growl or growl in general, it reminds me of my sassy aunt ^,^

I have inherited three pianos. Well...one upright piano, one mid-sized Yamaha upright, and one keyboard. The big oak upright is from my great-aunt, who everyone said used to look like me. The other two are from my mom's mother, who I only met once before she died (she was an alcoholic jerk).
I wear my engagement ring all day, because it reminds me of [mushy] heart Marcus heart [/mushy].
I wear this weird plastic tatoo bracelet thing for some reason. People keep thinking it's an actual tatoo, but it's not. I just like it because I never have to take it off.
I also enjoy getting letters. I have a huge box of little letters that I've gotten from penpals, my grandmother (who sends me letters and recipes and surprise checks for 10 bucks), and Marcus. I also have a bunch of pictures that I treasure that people have drawn for me (like Koi..).
So, yeah, I guess I'm a bit of a sentimentalist.

As am I, which is what drove me to finish the picture. *though now I wish I had a better copy so I could use it to color when I get my computer back...*
