The fates seemed to be on their side. The pool was nearly empty today. Just a handful of people. This would make things a lot easier as they wouldn't have people constantly bumping into them for one reason or another.
It had not taken Alison but a couple of seconds to get her top on and get poolside. "Sebastian," she waved as she called out his name. She had been watching the men's side intently. She had a huge smile on her face. She was as the saying went on cloud nine.

Sebastian came out of the men's side, and almost slipped on the slick floor. Those caution signs weren't just for show. He was wearing his swim trunks, and his other clothes were tucked away in his pack in the front, locked into a locker. He made his way to the poolside, and slid into the water quietly - expecting it to be freezing, and finding it, pleasantly, not.
"Oh... this is nice.. This is very nice..." he said... before his foot slipped as he attempted to move forward, and he went into the water, coming up sputtering, and clinging to the side in a way that would probably make Alison giggle it was so pathetic.

Although it wasn't that great of an attempt Alison managed to hold back her giggle. She knew what it was like to not be good on legs. Thus her giggle was good natured.
She pulled a hair tie from her wrist and pulled her hair up. She really hated when it got into her eyes which happened easily when she swam. "Easy. You'll exhaust yourself before you've even started." It was awkward as she knelt down and but not so much so when she slid herself into the water.
She went behind him and wrapped her arms around his waist. "Just trust me. Okay. Just trust me. I'm gonna lay you back and I want you to relax." She was intentionally holding him in a way that his feet wouldn't touch the bottom. However, if for some reason he panicked he'd touch bottom in an instant. "This is floating."

Sebastian was a little panicked, but hearing Alison's voice calmed him down considerably. He closed his eyes, and let her do as she wanted, laying back in the water - albeit a little unsteadily. He was kind of shaking, actually, but he'd never admit to that. The water felt nice, but Alison's hands were twice as nice as they held him up, and kept him from sinking in the water.
He'd pulled his own hair down into a lower ponytail to keep it out of his face, and out of the way. He could feel his hair, his hands, and his feet... swirling around in the water a bit, almost making it seem like he was weightless. Relaxing completely, however, was a little on the hard side, considering his eyes were closed, and he had no idea what would happen if Alison was to let go.

Alison hummed softly as she continued to hold onto him for a few more moments. Honestly she did not want to let go. Even though her heart was trying to hammer its way out of her chest this was nice, extremely so. However, holding onto him wasn't going to help him learn to do anything.
"Now I'm going to let go. I'm practically right under you. I'll continue to hum so focus on that." With that said she did as she had told him and let go slowly. She continued to hum. She wanted to keep him focused and content. The last thing she wanted was for him to panic.
They could certainly save flailing for the next lesson when she taught him to tread water and doggy paddle. For right now though she wanted him to learn to relax and float. To drift. That way if he became tired he'd know what to do in a pinch.

Sebastian froze for a moment, panicked for JUST a moment, then relaxed again. He felt Alison close-by, and... while she wasn't holding him anymore, she was literally a finger-length away. Nothing was going to happen to him, right? He just had to relax... and float. Relax and drift... Alison's humming was calming his inner mantra, and making him forget to say the words to himself - getting him to calm down.
"Alison... that's really pretty... could you... sing something?" he asked, eyes still closed.

Alison was really proud of Sebastian and the was he was holding himself together. Some people weren't meant to swim. Thankfully that wasn't the case with Eidel or him. She should consider herself lucky that this had been easy.
Color coated her cheeks when he compliment her. "Thank you. A song?" She thought for a moment. What was a good song to sing. She didn't listen to a lot of music with words. But she had heard this one song one day when she was in a shop. it was going to be embarrassing to sing but she was going to do it. "There's a calm surrender to the rush of day," and so she continued to sing Elton John, Can you feel the love tonight.

Sebastian didn't think it was embarrassing at all. He thought it was a beautiful song {and had never seen Lion King} - and slowly relaxed even more. He felt the water holding him up, and it supported him just so. He was starting to trust the water, he thought. Or maybe it was just that he already trusted Alison not to let him drown.
He waited for Alison to stop singing, and reached out - eyes still closed, to rest his hand on top of hers, on top of the water. This was... amazing. Just floating here in her company, it made him giddy in ways he wasn't quite sure he wanted to understand yet. The high he was feeling was amazing, and had nothing to do with drugs or anything... it was... pure, sweet, and all because of Alison.

"You're really good at this. I'd almost go as far to say a natural. I want you to remember how to float because if you get tired that's what I want you to do. Because if you keep trying when you're tired you're liable to um... well you know," she didn't want to say it because she didn't want to scare him.
"Next is treading water. You're going to move your hands and legs like this." Alison did her best to demonstrate. She was graceful at it because of her fishtail. She knew that Sebastian would flail about at first. After a few moments of demonstration she wrapped her warms around him and pulled him towards a deeper part of the pool.
She wasn't as fast in the water at the moment because of two things. Sebastian and she was on her back. "I'm not going to let go just yet so don't worry. Don't worry about hitting me. I'm a pretty durable gal." She grinned.

"I would never want to hit you, Alison... Durable or not, that's not a way to treat anyone... Especially not a.. beautiful young lady like yourself." He smiled a bit, and his cheeks flushed. Complimenting her was part of his personality - but... it felt different. Probably because it was her. Everything felt different because it was her!
He started off slowly, moving his hands and legs in the water for a moment, before figuring out exactly what she meant, and parroting it. The movements weren't particularly graceful, but they were powerful, and he managed not to hit her at all while he did them. His legs and arms were both fairly powerful - and would get stronger, the more swimming he did.
"Like this?" he asked, showing her again.

Her heart was beating a million times faster. And it wasn't the current activity. "Thank you," thankfully her cheeks didn't get too much redder. She'd blushed enough for a lifetime already today. But she didn't mind. He made her feel good. Giddy even. Already holding him she hugged him. She couldn't explain herself or her actions. She was only sure that they were good and that like her feelings they were caused by Sebastian.
"Yes. Like that," She grinned. "Keep it up," she slowly spun him around until they were face to face. She let go and tread water herself. "When you want to go somewhere lean forward and in somewhat of the same motion go for it. Instead of up and down movements you'll want to do outward and inward motions. Like this." She demonstrated by swimming around him. "Only you'll want to kick your legs," She said once she came to a stop. "And don't worry if you don't get it first try. I'm right here to catch you."

Sebastian paused for a moment, stopping treading water. He could still reach the bottom with his feet. And there was something else that was tugging him with an irresistible pull. He'd been ignoring it since Alison touched his hand - or he touched hers. It was kind of a blur at the moment.
Instead of doing as instructed, and swimming away from her, instead of swimming more at all, he finally gave in to his temptation, and reached out to gently cup Alison's cheeks with his hands, bringing her head forward, and meeting her lips with his own. The moment took him. He was wet, she was wet, there were people, but he didn't care. One hand slid down to her shoulders, and the other moved around to the back of her head, tangling his fingers very gently in her hair.

When he all together stopped Alison was about to reach out and pull him forward. Her first thoughts were that he was tired. But then something all together different happened. He was coming towards her.
Alison's breath hitched as the butterflies filled her stomach once more. He was so close. He'd been close but not this close. At least not intentionally. For a brief moment the world faded out and it was all fuzzy as she waited to see what he was going to do. What he did she wasn't exactly expecting but honestly she had hoped for it. His lips were on hers and it felt amazing. It was enough to knock what breath she had out of her. His touch made her skin tingle. The entire world ceased to exist and it was just the two of them.
It took a bit of work with the weight of the water on them but Alison fully expanded her wings. She then wrapped them around Sebastian. It was made clear that she had no intentions on stopping this moment anytime soon.

Sebastian welcomed the privacy of her wings, and kissed her for quite a while, before he pulled back, eyes half-lidded, and a giddy smile on his lips. He stumbled a bit in the water, but managed to get his footing again. He was light-headed, and altogether woozy, and it was from more than the lack of air.
"By the Vortex, that was...." He trailed off for a moment to catch his breath, and looked deep into Alison's eyes. "Bloody amazing." he breathed, still close enough to her to feel her breath, the feathers of her wings soaking the both of them even more. Water dripped down his hair, his face, dripped from his eyelids, but all he could see was her. Bathed in a radiant - and probably partially hallucinated - golden light. He didn't exactly give a damn.
"I...." he couldn't finish that sentence. His brilliant brain full of so many words that he'd learned in books couldn't begin to finish that thought.

Alison's cheeks were flushed and her breathing was labored. Her head was pounding as much as her heart was. She'd of described it as perfect but it was better than perfect. It was quickly sinking in that, that was her first kiss. Well more like half a dozen by the time they were looking at one another but wow.
Her grin widened when she heard him start to describe it. "Perfect." She settled on that word. Because even if it was better than perfect there was not a word for it. She caressed his cheek. Her other hand wove into some stray strands of hairs of his. This emotional high was unlike anything she had ever experienced. She had read dozens of books, seen plenty of pictures but they paled in comparison. She licked her lips and realized she could still taste him.
She rested her forehead on his and was content to support the both of them in the water with her wings and fishtail. If she didn't have to let go, she wouldn't. At least not for a while. She didn't look away from him. She even went as far as to try not to blink. She didn't want to miss a thing.
